GUARANTEE
The Company guarantees that the machine has been tested in all its parts in a
satisfactory way. The Guarantee is valid for a period of 6 months and it is limeted to
the good quality of the machine, of its components and to the absence of faults in its
construction.
Excluded from the guarantee are the electrical motors and any other part which is not
of our production.
In this instances however supply the guarantees of the manifacturing firm of these
components.
The purchaser has the unique right of substitution of the defective parts excluding the
cost of transport, packaging and or eventual borrowing to cover operations.
It is however excluded from the guarantee any damage derived from misuse of the
machine, lack of observance of normal maintenance or damage caused by ill-trinaed
perators.
No reimbursement will be made for possible inactivity of the machine.
WARNINGS
In order to obtain the best results we reccomend our Customer to strictly adhere to the
instructions contained in this little book. In this way it will be possible to obtain the
maximum potential from the machine and be possible to avoid the inconvenience
caused by not observing the correct use and maintenance. In any case, to avoid
contacting the factory for incoveniences easily remedied we reccomend to follow the
instructions on the apposit pages with great care. If the operator should meet with
difficulties not covered by this book it is advised that contact should be made with the
factory giving details of problems encountered. Precision in giving details will result in
a rapid and perfect installation. About spare parts we reccomend the customer to
indicate the exact serial number of the corresponebìnt piece.
It should be possible to obtain the relevant details from this book using the diagrams
given.

INSTALLATION AND ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS
After having chosen the place of installation in your factory, bearing in the mind the
necessary space for operations, position the machine making sure of its level. If the
machine is to be positioned near to a wall allow enough space behind for the
periodical necessary maintenance. To avoid unnecessary ugly piping in the factory
ensure that the necessary inlet and outlets for the eaters are provided. About electric
connections verify, before all, that the voltage of your factory corresponds to the
voltage of the machine. Starting from the control box connect the machine to a fuse-
board of right amperage. It is also necessary to earth the machine. Check all relevant
points for possible short circuits which could damage the machine's electrical parts.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE MACHINE
Before functioning the machine ensure that all parts including transport bench are in
place as per instructions.
Checking the electric connection verify if the spy is on and if the rotation of motors
(motors of the wheels and not of the track) is right; in case of wrong rotation invert
only elecrtic general cables (R-S-T). Ensure that the water in the external sink is at
the correct level and that water is pumped to the wheels.
In case you use direct water, be sure that it is enough.
After these simple operations using the handle-wheel (10) adjust the track according
to the thickness you want to machine. Adjust all the pointers (3) and (4) of the
diamond an polishing wheels according to the thickness.
Lower all the wheels by the handle-wheel (5). Start the machine with a glass inside
and slowly raise the wheels by the handle (5) up to the wheels touch the glass.

During this operation check if the ammeters mark the right absorbtion. The handle-
wheels (3) to centrate the wheels give an approximate direction so that after the first
glass you machine adjust them in the right way. The same is for the handle-wheels
(4).

ADJUSTMENT OF TRACK-SPEED
Your VELOX MASTER 4M/22 is equipped with an inverter system which allows to
adjust the speed of the track turning the potentiometer on the electric board. This
adjustment has to be done according to the thickness of the glass you are working as
shown below:

These values of speed are indicative because many factors influences it and it is
impossible to schedule them.

ADVICE ON USE AND MAINTENANCE
In this chapter are the most important operation to do in order to use your VELOX
MASTER 4M/22 in the best way:
1) It is very important that the water tank (43), where is the pump (13), is changed
every day in order to have water always clean. It is a good rule to make the machine
work ten minutes every week-end without glass and with clean water. This operation
lets to clean all the circuits from silicium residues.
2) In order to get a good polishing it is a good rule to refrigerate the polishing wheels
with running water connecting the valve (97) directly with your hydric network.
3) For a good working of the track it is necessary sometime to lubrificate it by the
grease pump (92). Actioning 5 or 6 times the lever of the pump with the track working
you will reduce completly the fretting of the guides of the track.
4) It could be happen that because of some mechanical bond the rubber plate for
chaintrack traction don't press the glass in a right way; if it is like this you have to
adjust the hand-wheel (1) on the right pression and to move the red index to make it
indicate the exact thickness of the glass.
5) After months it may happen that because of some mechanical bond, a plate glass
longer then one meter and half is not worked in a right way. In this case, youmust
open the the carters of the track, slacken the grub screw on the collet of the pinions,
slacken the jum nuts and screw lightly the screw (16) of 1/4 of turn from both the sides
of track. Now lock everithing. This adjustment in case repeated will take back
definitiveky equilibrium of forces to chain conveyor sheet of glass.

6) Sometime it is a good rule to check thatthe track gears (30), (31), (32) are
lubrificated with grease in a right way.
7) It is a good rule to install the wheels payng attention to the cleaning of the shaft of
the motor and the wheels in order to make them turn well centred.
8) If ypu use the same wheels for a long time it is a good rule to invert them in order to
consume them in a good way. Sometime check if the wheels have the round or flat
edge well consumed if it is not like this adjust their position by the handle-wheel (3).
IMPORTANT: all machines ZAFFERANI are tested and checked in all their parts, for
this reason the their adjustment is very simple.
