When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including:
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Read all instructions.
• Remove all packaging and labels from
appliance prior to use.
• Make sure appliance is cleaned thoroughly
before using.
• Never leave appliance unattended when in use.
• Do not use appliance for other than its intended
use. For household use only. Do not use
outdoors.
• Make sure that appliance is installed out of
reach from children.
• Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
• Always make sure that the Blending, Whisking,
or Mashing Attachment is locked securely
in place before engaging the motor. Do not
remove the Blending, Whisking or Mashing
Attachment before the blender is finished
operating.
• Do not place your fingers or other objects
into the appliance while it is operating. If food
becomes lodged in the blades, turn o and
unplug the appliance before trying to dislodge
the ingredients.
• Keep hands and utensils away from the moving
blades while the appliance is engaged to
reduce the risk of severe injury or property
damage.
• Wait until the blades come to a complete stop
before removing the Blending, Whisking or
Mashing Attachments to prevent the drive gear
from becoming damaged.
• Make sure that the appliance is turned o
after each use. Make sure that the motor stops
completely before disassembling.
• When cleaning, do not submerge the Motor
Base (with electrical parts) in any liquid; instead
use a soft wet cloth to wipe it down.
The Immersion Blender Motor Base is NOT
dishwasher safe.
• CAUTION: Blades are sharp and can cause
injury! Handle and clean with care. Wash using a
brush or gloves. Do not touch the blades in the
base of the Blending Attachment.
• Store appliance in a dry place.
• Do not operate this appliance with an external
timer. When blending thick or tough ingredients
for a prolonged period of time, the temperature
monitoring system may shut down the motor to
prevent overheating. If this happens, unplug the
blender and place the Motor Base in a well-
ventilated area, allowing it to cool down for 45
minutes. Try removing some of the ingredients
before continuing to blend.
• When using the Immersion Blender, keep the
blending time below 2 minutes to prevent
the motor from overloading or overheating.
If the motor stops abruptly, allow the motor
temperature to decrease before continuing to
blend.
• Do not operate this appliance with a damaged
cord, damaged plug, after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any
manner. Return the appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.
• For maintenance other than cleaning, please

from 7AM–7PM PT Monday–Friday or by email
• Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas
burner, hot electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Refrain from using attachments that are not
recommended by the appliance manufacturer,
as this can result in fire, electric shock, or
personal injury.
• Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces or hang
over the edge of a table or counter.
• Do not operate the appliance for more than 10
minutes at a time.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge unless they
are provided with supervision and instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Always be sure to unplug the appliance from
the outlet prior to moving, cleaning, and storing
and when not in use.
• StoreBound shall not accept liability for
damages caused by improper use of the
appliance.
• Improper use of the appliance can result in
property damage or personal injury.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not
completely fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
• The power supply cord is short to reduce risk
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a
longer cord. An extension cord may be used
if care is exercised in its use. If an extension
cord is used, the marked electrical rating of
the extension cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance. The
extension cord should be arranged so that it
will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
over unintentionally.

USING YOUR IMMERSION BLENDER
Before using your Immersion Blender
Read the entire instruction manual and save it for further use.
Use a wet cloth to wipe down the Motor Base.
Wash the Blending, Whisking, and Mashing Attachments with hot, soapy water.
Use a dish brush to clean the blades. Do not use your hands.
WARNING: do not submerge the Motor Base in water or other liquids.

Turbo
The Blending Attachment is used for normal blending. You can
blend soups in a mixing bowl, or smoothies in a mason jar.
The Whisking Attachment is used for whipping, beating eggs,
or mixing batter.
The Mashing Attachment is perfect for mashing potatoes or
smoothing out dips like guacamole.
To use the Turbo Setting you must hold down the Turbo Button.
This will give you a little extra power. You can also use this as a
“Pulse” setting.

Attach the appropriate attachment and
make sure it clicks into place. (Photo A)
Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.
Place ingredients in a mixing bowl
or other container. Do not use the
Immersion Blender on or in non-stick
cookware as it may damage the
non-stick coating.
Set your desired speed on the Speed
Adjuster. (Photo B)
Place the Blending, Whisking, or Mashing
Attachment into the bowl with
the ingredients. (Photo C)
Press and hold the Power Button to turn
on the Immersion Blender. You will need
to hold the Power Button down for the
duration of your blending. Make sure
to use a firm grip, so as to not drop the
blender when in use. (Photo D)

CLEANING & MAINTENANCEREMOVING MASHING ATTACHMENT BLADES
You can remove the blade on the
Mashing Attachment to make cleaning
easier. To do so, place the Mashing
Attachment Lock over the top of the
Mashing Attachment. (Photo A)
Then use the Mashing Attachment
Screw to unscrew the blade. (Photo B)
Use extreme caution with the blade as
it is sharp.
Important: Do not submerge the motor
base in water or other liquids.
Before cleaning or moving the appliance, make sure to unplug the Immersion Blender.
Remove the Blending, Whisking, or Mashing Attachment from the Motor Base.
The Blending, Whisking, and Mashing Attachments are dishwasher safe. The Motor
Base is not dishwasher safe.
If you prefer, you can wash the Blending, Whisking, and Mashing Attachments in the
sink with hot, soapy water, using a brush to clean the blade.
Dry the Blending, Whisking, and Mashing Attachments thoroughly.
Wipe down the Motor Base with a damp cloth.

WARRANTY
DASH - 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Your Zakarian by Dash product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship
for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase when utilized for normal
and intended household use. Should any defect covered by the terms of the limited warranty
be discovered within one (1) year, Dash will repair or replace the defective part. To process
a warranty claim, contact Customer Support at 1-800-898-6970 for further assistance and
instruction. A Customer Support agent will assist you by troubleshooting minor problems. If
troubleshooting fails to fix the problem, a return authorization will be issued. Proof of purchase
indicating the date and place of purchase is required and should accompany the return. You
must also include your full name, shipping address, and telephone number. We are unable to
ship returns to a PO box. Dash will not be responsible for delays or unprocessed claims resulting
from a purchaser’s failure to provide any or all of the necessary information. Freight costs must
be prepaid by the purchaser.
There are no express warranties except as listed above.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY OF THE CUSTOMER. DASH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY
ON THIS PRODUCT EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW. ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS
PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. Therefore, the above exclusions or limitations
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other
rights, which vary from state to state.
