Input separator is used to separate
control signals into particular system
groups, simultaneously blocking the-
ir access to other groups. The input
separator SEM-01 is used for building
control systems which use exta series
home automation devices. This sys-
tem allows to subordinate the influen-
ce of control signals which are led to
releasing inputs. The separator lets
the signal pass one side but blocks the
signal to pass the opposite side. There
are 4 independent separators in one
casing and they can be used in a new
control system.
The device is designed
for one-phase instal-
lation and must be in-
stalled in accordance
with standards valid in a
particular country. The
device should be connected according
to the details included in this operating
manual. Installation, connection and
control should be carried out by a qu-
alied electrician staff, who act in accor-
dance with the service manual and the
device functions. Casing disassembly
results in breaking the guarantee and
can cause danger of electrocution. Be-
fore installation make sure the con-
nection cables are not under voltage.
The cruciform head screwdriver 3,5 mm
should be used to instal the device. Im-
proper transport, storage, and use of the
device inuence its wrong functioning.
It is not advisable to instal the device in
the following cases: if any device part is
missing or the device is damaged or de-
formed. In case of improper functioning
of the device contact the producer.

MOUNTING
1. Disconnect the power supply from
the mains by the phase fuse, the
circuit-breaker or the switch-discon-
nector that are joined to the proper
circuit,
2. Check if there is no voltage on
connection cables by means of a
special measure equipment,
3. Fasten the SEM-01 on the rails in the
switching station,
4. Connect the cables with the termi-
nals in accordance with the accepted
control system and in cooperation
with other exta series devices,
5. Switch on power supply from the ma-
ins.

FUNCTIONING
The diagram shows lighting control
system on the ground oor and on the
rst oor in a building. Four PBM-02 de-
vices have been applied to control four
lighting circuits. To increase the number
of lighting circuits we can increase the
number of PBM-02 relays. Single-pole
bell switches S1, S2, S3, S4 connected
with bistable relays IN inputs have the
function to SWITCH ON / SWITCH OFF
particular lighting circuits. S12, S34 switch-
es are connected with R (reset) relays’
inputs and have the function of SWITCH
OFF control, and it allows to switch off
all lights on particular oors: S12 - ground
oor, S34 - rst oor. The S1234 switch con-
nected with R inputs of all PBM-02 relays
is the element of SWITCH OFF central
control. It allows to switch off the light in
the whole building. Connecting S1234 by
means of SEM-01 separator makes con-
trol signals independent.
WORKING WITH
The separator of SEM-01 signal has
a practical application when used with
exta series systems, which are equipped
with inner trip circuit. ASM-02, ASM-10,
PCM-04, PCM-10, PBM-01, PBM-02,
SRM-10, DIM-10 devices belong to the-
se systems. SEM-01 is responsible for
the itration of control signals and for le-
ading or cutting them off from particular
systems in a new created system.

2. The manufacturer’s guarantee does not cover any of the following actions:
a) mechanical damage during transport, loading / unloading or under other circumstances,
b) damage caused by incorrect product mounting or misuse,
c) damage caused by unauthorised modications made by the PURCHASER or any third parties to the product or any other devices
needed for the product functioning,
d) damage caused by Act of God or any other incidents independent of the manufacturer.
3. The PURCHASER shall lay any claims in writing to the dealer or ZMIE ZAMEL SP. J.
4. ZMIE ZAMEL SP. J. is liable for processing any claim according to current Polish legislation.
5. ZMIE ZAMEL SP. J. shall process the claim at its own discretion: product repair, replacement or money return.
6. The manufacturer’s guarantee is valid in the Republic of Poland.
7. The PURCHASER’s statutory rights in any applicable legislation whether against the retailer arising from the purchase contract or
otherwise are not affected by this warranty.
