COMPOSITION
The Zanussi Professional range of
salamanders is ideal for "au gratin"
finishing and other types of cooking
which require high temperature,
direct radiant heat from above the
food. The units are suitable for
grilling and toasting in any busy
kitchen, from the small pub to the
larger restaurant.
The models detailed in this sheet are
3 electric or gas salamander models.
FUNCTIONAL AND

FEATURES
� Constructed entirely in 430 AISI
stainless steel
� Closed sides for rapid heating and
improved safety.
� 1 control knob for regulation of the
heat radiation from the main burner
on the gas model.
� Top with high intensity heating
element adjustable between 130mm
and 280mm.
� Equipped with a large
400x650mm chromed steel grid with
anti-tilt runners and heat resistant
plastic handles that accommodates
GN 1/1 containers
� Easy to remove cooking grid and
pull-out drip tray of approx. 7 liters.
� Grid can be manually moved on 4
different levels
� Gas models: cooking via heat
radiation from ceramic tiles
positioned on the ceiling of the
cooking chamber. Temperature rises
to (800°-900°C) by stabilized flame
burners. Piezo ignition. Flame failure
device cuts off gas in case of
accidentally extinguised burners. For
use with LPG or natural gas
� Electric model: cooking via heat
radiation from two sets of
independent elements positioned on
the ceiling of the cooking chamber.
Elements controlled by simmerstat
allowing each zone to have a
different temperature.
