Installation
lThis hob must be installed by qualified personnel,
according to the manufacturers instructions and to
the relevant Australian Standards.
lAny gas installation must be carried out by a registered
installer.
lRemove all packaging before using the hob.
lEnsure that the gas and electrical supply complies
ith the type stated on the rating plate, located near
the gas supply pipe.
lDo not attempt to modify the hob in any ay.
lThe appliance must be installed at a minimum distance
of cm.50 from curtains or other combustible material.
lWhere this appliance is installed in marine craft or in
caravans, it shall not be used as a space heater.
Child Safety
lThe appliance is not intended for use by young children
or infirm persons ithout supervision.
lThis hob is designed to be operated by adults. Do
not allo children to play near or ith the hob.
lThe hob gets hot hen it is in use.
lChildren should be kept a ay until it has cooled.

During Use

not designed for commercial or industrial purposes.
lWhen in use a gas cooking appliance ill produce
heat and moisture in the room in hich it has been
installed. Ensure there is a continuous air supply,
keeping air vents in good condition or installing a
cooker hood ith a venting hose.
lWhen using the hob for a long period time, the
ventilation should be improved, by opening a indo
or increasing the extractor speed.
lDo not use this hob if it is in contact ith ater.
Do not operate the hob ith et hands.
lEnsure the control knobs are in the OFF position
hen not in use.
lWhen using other electrical appliances, ensure the
cable does not come into contact ith the hot
surfaces of the cooking appliance.
lUnstable or misshapen pans should not be used on
the hob as unstable pans can cause an accident by
tipping or spillage.
lNever leave the hob unattended hen cooking ith
oil and fats.
lNever use plastic or aluminium foil dishes on the hob.
lPerishable food, plastic items and areosols may be
affected by heat and should not be stored above or
belo the hob unit.
lDo not spray areosols in the vicinity of this appliance
hile it is in operation.
Service
lThis hob should only be repaired or serviced by an
authorised Service Engineer and only genuine
approved spare parts should be used.
Environmental Information
lAfter installation, please dispose of the packaging
ith due regard to safety and the environment.
lWhen disposing of an old appliance, make it unusable,
by cutting off the cable.
