SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION: This equipment gets HOT. Make sure
all ammable/combusble materials are set away
from this equipment.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,
nor aer the unit malfuncons, is dropped, or is damaged in
any manner.
• To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary
when the unit is used near children.
• Only use aachments recommended or sold by the
manufacturer.
• Do not insert ngers or foreign objects into the unit.
• Do not put this product in water or other liquids.
Do not place the insect zapper where it can fall into water.
• Do not abuse the power supply cord or carry product by the
cord. Keep cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Never allow the cable to hang in front of the cover.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug,
not the cord.
• Always disconnect the product from the power source when
not in use, before maintenance, and when cleaning.
• Always unplug before replacing the lamp.
Replace bulb with same type and rated waages.
• Store the unit indoors and out of the reach of children when
not in use.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
These precauons should be followed at all mes.
Failure to follow these precauons could result in
injury to yourself and others.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK,
THE PLUG MUST BE PLUGGED INTO AN
APPROPRIATE OUTLET THAT IS PROPERLY
INSTALLED AND GROUNDED. CONSULT
A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IF IN DOUBT
WHETHER PROPER GROUNDING EXISTS.
1. Remove all packaging and protecve lm from the insect
zapper. Do not rest the unit on surface without connuing
to support it. It will not stand on it’s own.
2. Select a proper locaon to hang the unit. The unit must NOT
be installed where dangerous concentraons of ammable
or explosive substances are likely to be present in the air.
3. Connect the appliance to main power.
4. The unit will be ON once it is connected to an electrical
source. There is no separate ON/OFF switch. The bulb will
take a few minutes to light up completely. The insect zapper
is designed for commercial usage such that the unit
could remain ON 24 hours a day.
PROPER GROUNDING
This item is provided with a three-pronged grounding plug.
The outlet to which this plug is connected must be properly
grounded. If the receptacle is not the proper grounding type,
contact an electrician. DO NOT, under any circumstances, cut
or remove the third ground prong from the power cord or use
any adapter plug.

ZAP N TRAP would like to thank you for purchasing this equipment. It’s important to save these instrucons for future reference.
CAUTION: Before performing maintenance, unplug the insect zapper.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
1. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
2. Never use water to clean the unit. Water may damage the electrical components.
Wipe the safety guard and external casing with a damp cloth.
3. Using a small brush or sck, gently remove any insect remains from the boom and enclosure.
4. Once the unit is clean, return unit to hanging posion and reconnect the power source.
REPLACING THE BULBS
1. Unplug and remove enre unit from hanging posion.
2. Turn the unit upside down. Do not rest the unit on surface without connuing to
support it. It will not stand on it’s own.
3. Take o cover.
4. Carefully remove the old bulbs, using cauon as they may sll be hot.
5. Install the replacement bulbs (#60550WATTOUT) and make sure it is
properly seated in the socket.
6. Make sure the cover is closed securely.
7. Place the unit back into the hanging posion.
WARNING
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
Keep water and other liquids from entering the inside of the unit. Liquid inside the unit could cause an electrical shock.
Do not spray with water or cleaning products. Liquid could contact the electrical components and cause a short circuit
or an electrical shock. Do not use unit if power cord is damaged or has been modied.

The unit is not working
Power Supply Check power supply. Make sure the unit is
plugged into working outlet.
Bulb has expired, is faulty, or has
not been ed correctly
Check bulb to make sure it is seated properly.
Replace bulb if necessary.
Plug and/or cable are damaged Replace the product
Boom cover not screwed on Secure boom enclosure
All Zap N Trap Insect Trap/Zappers are backed
by a six (6) month replacement warranty.
