II Operation Guide
11. Charging
The evice is fitte with a built-in lithium rechargeable battery, so when you use it for the
first time, please charge fully. The metho for charging as following:
1.) Connect computer: use supplie USB cable to connect to the computer’s USB port.
2.) Use USB a aptor (not inclu e ): connect charger plug with USB cable, then plug into
electrical connector receptacle, it can be charge .
When you charge both the blue light an re light will shine continuously. Charge time is
approximately 2 hours an the blue light will turn off in icating full.
Notice: when battery power is very low, the evice will enter into protection mo e, an
cannot be turne on. It will nee to be charge .
2. Powering on and Recording
1. Press Power button slightly an the blue in icator light begins to shine in icating
that it is in start-up mo e.
2. Wait 5 secon s for the evice to enter ready ode. Power will automatically shut
off if no button is presse for 30 secon s.
3. To begin recording, press the Recor button slightly an the re in icator light
starts to flash slowly which is recor ing mo e.
4. Point the ini dv in the area to recor . Both vi eo an au io are recor e . If a
mount is use make sure to test the picture angle an position of the evice for
proper recor ing. The resolution of the camera is 2 Megapixel an the vi eo file is
720*480 pixels. Spee is 30 frames per secon an lightness is automatically
a juste when recor ing in change lighting areas.
5. To stop recording press the Recor button so the vi eo is stoppe an save
automatically. The re light will flash showing that the file is being save .
6. If the power off button is presse uring a recor ing, the file will be automatically
save an the evice will switch off.
7. Follow same proce ure to repeat recording. 1 GB of memory is use per 20 minutes
of recor ing. Once memory is full, recor ing is not possible until some memory is
cleare
Notice:
• Make sure a Micro SD car has been inserte , if not, the evice will power off
automatically after 10 secon s.
• The maximum capacity of car is 16GB.

• Saving file operation nee s some time, so please on’t press any operation button
continuously in or er to avoi corrupt saving an generating an incomplete file.
• When making a vi eo, clarity will epen on light levels an vi eo stability. Picture
may become istorte if the lighting level is low an the evice is move excessively.
• Keep the camera lense clean an free from scratches so recor ing quality is kept
clear.
3. Sound activated recording
1. Press Power button slightly an the blue in icator light begins to shine in icating that it
is in start-up mo e.
2. Wait 5 secon s for the evice to enter ready ode. Power will automatically shut off if
no button is presse for 30 secon s.
3. In rea y mo e press MODE button slightly, to enter into soun activation vi eo mo e.
Blue in icator light will shine an re in icator light will flash quickly in icating soun
activation stan by mo e. A soun level over 60 ecibels will activate the vi eo to begin
recor ing automatically an the re light will flash slowly.
4. Recor ing will last for 2 inutes an then be save automatically. If the soun level is
still high, recor ing will not be stoppe but continue until there is no soun for 2 minutes.
Once recor ing is save , the evice will remain in soun activation stan by mo e for 5
minutes an then power off.

.Ti e/date sta ping
1. This feature places the time an ate on to all vi eos.
2. Loa the CD supplie with the evice, there is a file calle TAG.TXT, copy the file to
the esktop or e icate fol er for easy loa ing in the future.
3. Copy the text file TAG.TXT to the root irectory of the car (connect evice to
computer an open the first fol er of the evice).
4. Open TAG. TXT file using Wor pa , Notepa etc, an enter current ate an time
accor ing to format below. Do not change format in any other way.

5. Save the file an isconnect the evice from computer an turn device off.
6. Now power on, record a 5-10 second video an stop recor ing. The evice will check
an analyze TAG.TXT, then set system time accor ing to file time. After that the text
file will be elete by system automatically. Reconnect the evice an play the vi eo
to check that the time an ate stamping is correct. If not, repeat process again an
make sure all steps are followe in or er.
7. If the evice is use for a long ti e, the battery charge will run out, an time / ate
stamping will nee to be setup again.

.Power off
Press the Power button for 3 secon s an the evice will switch off. If the evice is turne
off uring a vi eo recor ing, the vi eo file will be save automatically first.
6. Auto-power off function
• If the battery power level gets low whilst recor ing, the vi eo file will be save
automatically an the evice will switch off.
• If the memory capacity gets use up whilst recor ing, the vi eo file will be save
automatically an the evice will switch off.

.Connecting to a co puter
• Plug the supplie USB cable into the evice an the other si e into the USB port on a
PC or laptop.
• The evice can be connecte whilst powere on or in stan by mo e. It is possible to
access the memory car to e it the fol er, elete files, a files etc.
• To play vi eo files, select the vi eo an open using a me ia program. Not all files are
compatible on all programs as some co ec may be nee e .
• When the evice is connecte to the PC, the blue light will in icate battery charging
an the re light in icates that it is connecte .
• If the computer oes not recognize the evice or car in 30 secon s, isconnect an
reinsert.
• Large vi eo files shoul be copie onto the computer’s har isk as playing irectly
from the evice may be slow or unsmooth.
8. PC Ca era
• The PC camera can be use as a webcam on social me ia or to capture vi eos from
your computer.
• Install the river from the supplie CD. The river name is
SPCA1528_V2237_W…Setup.exe. Run this program an follow the prompts to install.
Once installation is complete an icon calle AMCAP will appear on the esktop.
• Use the supplie USB cable to connect the camera to a computer. Press the MODE
button to switch into PC camera mo e. Open the AMCAP program to use as PC
camera to capture vi eos an change settings.
• To stop the PC camera function, first close the AMCAP program an then remove the
evice from the computer.

If the evice freezes up or oes not operate properly it may nee to be reset. Use a fine
point such as a pin to press the Reset button locate on the si e of the evice.
10. Notice
• Only use for suitable applications an follow the state's law regar ing observing signs
where cameras are not allowe .
• If the evice experiences any compatibility issues it may nee a software upgra e.
Please contact the supplier to get the software upgra e.
• Only use is normal temperatures an o not expose the camera to hot surfaces, open
flames an irect sunlight for exten e perio s.
• Check that the mounts are secure before using as the evice may get unfastene an
fall.
• Do not expose the camera to humi , amp or wet environments.
• Do not aim the camera irectly at the sun an other strong light sources in or er not
to amage any optical parts.
• Keep the lense clean an o not operate in very usty, san y or irty areas.
• In or er to avoi explosion, please o not throw the pro uct into fire.
Warranty
There is a 12 month factory warranty on the unit. Warranty oes not cover battery or
accessories. The pro uct must be only use for the inten e purpose an not subjecte to
willful or acci ental amage. Incorrect charging voltage or supply can amage the battery. If
the pro uct has been tampere with in any way, the warranty shall be consi ere null an
voi .
