Preface
IMPORTANT!
Carefully read this manual before use.
The ComfoClime is hereinafter referred to as "device".
This manual explains how to install, configure and use the App in order to control the ComfoClime.
Since that application is continuously developed and improved, your actual release may differ a bit from the
descriptions showed in this document.
Anyway thanks to the automatic update procedure, the App will upgrade automatically as soon as a new release is
released in Google Play or Apple Store.
NOTE : this manual has been compiled with the utmost care. However, no rights can be derived
from it. In addition, we at all times reserve the right to change the contents of this manual, without
prior notice.

1 Installation
Step Action Image

For the first installation you’re invited to
enter in Google Play or Apple Store and type
“ComfoClime Control” and, once found, clic
on Install.

installed apps.

2 Main menu
Tapping anytime on the upper left corner, on the "four dotted icon", a scroll-down menu will appear.
The voices are:

• Thermal profile

• WiFi
• HOME: the main page appears showing
the main parameters of the system
• YOUR DEVICES: a list of all the system
components (ComfoAir Q, ComfoClime,
Room Controller, etc.)
• **THERMAL PROFILE: the page with all
the thermal parameters to set up the
user profile and the thermal limits of the
system
• SCHEDULER: the page to set the
weekly program of the system
• APARTMENT SELECT: the page where
to select the house in case the user has
several installations
• WIFI: the page shows the available wifi
networks to connect to
**: accordingly to the user’s level (normal, advanced, authorized…)

8 THERMAL PROFILE (Advanced Users)
This page shows the thermal profile including:

SEASON SELECTION
Auto: it enable os disable the full auto
mode, switching to MANUAL
In MANUAL the user can manually change/
force the desired season
Heating threshold: outdoor average
temperature below which the heating is
allowed
Cooling threshold: the outdoor average
temperature above which the cooling is
allowed.
Between the two threshold temperatures the
heat pump is off.
TEMPERATURE
SELECTION
it is possible to select:
AUTO: setpoint automatically calculated
MANUAL: room temperature setpoint
defined by the user setting the slider below
STANDBY: the ComfoClime is OFF.
THERMAL PROFILER
The thermal profiler sets the climatic curve
for the comfort conditions in auto mode:
HEATING comfort temperature is the
heating setpoint in auto mode;
KNEE POINT is the outdoor average
temperature where the setpoint starts to
change in intermediate season (increasing);
REDUCTION DELTA is the offset of the
comfort temperature when the reduced
profile is chosen (night). For example 2°C
means a reduction of 2°C compared to
the default heating comfort setpoint or an
increase of 2°C compared to the cooling
comfort setpoint. Adjustable from 0° to 3°C.
COOLING comfort temperature is the
cooling setpoint in auto mode;
KNEE POINT is the outdoor average
temperature where the setpoint starts to
change in intermediate season (decreasing);
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE is the upper
limit for the comfort setpoint in cooling
mode.

9 Apartment select
In this page it is possible to select the current, active system:

APARTMENT SELECT
Tapping on the ADD button it is possible to
add a new installation in case the user owns
more than one ComfoClime/house.
The next page will ask for a name of the
installation, an address, a city and the
choice of a new icon for it.

10 Scenarios
The user can choose among different scenarios to plan the weekly scheduler. The choice is:

NO RM AL /DAY
This is the standard behaviour when no other
scenario is active. Heat pump maximum
thermal power is 70%.
SILENT/NIGHT
When the inhabitants are sleeping, the focus
is on low noise level and air renovation to
keep low CO2levels. Heat pump maximum
thermal power is limited to 50%. CAQ preset
is 2. The ComfoClime is not allowed to
demand more air flow.
AT WORK
When there’s nobody at home, thermal
comfort cannot apply. No CO2production is
happening but air renovation must still meet
local regulations regarding the minimum air
flow. The room temperature must not fall
too far away from the comfort, otherwise
when it’s time to switch form work to normal
scenario, it will take too long to reach the
comfort temperature again.
BOOST
Anytime it’s possible to force the ventilation
to higher speeds tapping this button with
an increase of one step each time, for a
duration of max 24h.
PARTY Heat pump maximum thermal power is
100%. ComfoAir Q preset is on 3.
COOKING Heat pump maximum thermal power is 70%.
ComfoAir Q preset is on 3.

11 Scheduler
In this page the user can program the system across the whole week, from Monday to Sunday, for each hour.
The scheduling is defined in three steps:

icons) and its duration typing and selecting the
start and the end time;

3Tap on SAVE.
The action can be repeated all the times it is needed and it is possible also to make multiple selections of days.

12 Troubleshooting
This paragraph concerns issues related to the main unit.
CAUTION!
Never open the unit neither touch the internal components.
CAUTION!
In case of malfunctioning such as weird noise, bad smell, water leakages, unplug immediately the
power supply and call a Zehnder Authorised Service.
If the ComfoClime is running but it doesn’t deliver the requested air conditions, please contact the Zehnder Technical
Service or the Installer.
On the upper part of the front cover, behind the black transparent panel, a LED indicating the actual working mode of
the unit is always visible.
The possible colours are:
■Left (multicolour LED):
■RED permanent: heating mode.
■BLU permanent: cooling mode.
■YELLOW blinking: an error occurred.
(see notifications on the app)
■Right (GREEN):
■Fast blinking: ComfoNet BUS off.
■Slow blinking: ComfoNet is connecting.
■Permanent ON: ComfoNet properly connected
and working.
