1. Beschrijving
1.1 Algemeen
De ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
maakt het mogelijk om meerdere
CO2Sensoren 0-10V aan te sluiten
op de ventilatieunit (ComfoAir E,
ComfoAir Q, ComfoFan S, etc.).
Van de maximaal vijf aan te sluiten
sensoren wordt het hoogste signaal
(0-10V) doorgegeven aan de
ventilatieunit.

1.3 Controle van de levering
Controleer bij ontvangst het
volgende:
1. Controleer of de verpakking niet
beschadigd is.
2. Controleer of de onderdelen niet
beschadigd zijn.
3. Controleer of de inhoud van de
doos compleet is.
Meld beschadigingen, ontbrekende
onderdelen of onjuiste levering
direct bij uw Zehnder vestiging. De
contactgegevens zijn vermeld op de
achterzijde van dit document.

2. Veiligheid
■Installatie, inwerkstelling
en onderhoud moeten
worden uitgevoerd
door een erkende
installateur, tenzij
anders aangegeven.
Installatie door een niet
erkende installateur
kan persoonlijk letsel
veroorzaken of schade
toebrengen aan het
functioneren van het
ventilatiesysteem.
■De gehele installatie
moet voldoen aan de
geldende (veiligheids-)
voorschriften zoals
vermeld in:
- NEN1010
veiligheidsbepalingen
voor laagspanning
installaties;
- de montage- en
installatievoorschriften
van de fabrikant.
■Zorg dat er geen
spanning staat op de
ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V, voordat u
start met de montage of
demontage.
■Gebruik alleen
onbeschadigde
aansluitkabels.
■Houd de ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V uit
de buurt van water en
vochtige omgevingen.
Gevaarlijke elektrische
spanning! Levens- of
letselgevaar door
elektrische spanning van
230V.
Werkzaamheden aan
het 230V-net mogen
uitsluitend worden
uitgevoerd door erkende
elektrotechnische
installateurs.
Houd kinderen en dieren
tijdens de montage
uit de buurt van de
montageplaats.
Monteer de
ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V alleen zoals
omschreven in deze
handleiding.
Volg altijd de plaatselijke
veiligheidsvoorschriften
tijdens het monteren van
het systeem.

3. Montagevoorschriften
Monteer de ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V zo dicht mogelijk
bij de ventilatieunit.
Monteer de ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V niet in een
condenserende ruimte.
Een verkeerde aansluiting kan het
apparaat beschadigen.
Gebruik uitsluitend
passend gereedschap en
montagemateriaal om de
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
te monteren.
Gebruik voor het aansluiten van
de CO2Sensoren 0-10V de GND,
0-10V IN en 12 V aansluitingen.
Er kunnen maximaal vijf CO2
Sensoren aangesloten worden
(op de ingangen IN 1 t/m IN 5).
Gebruik voor het aansluiten
met de ventilatieunit alleen de
GND-aansluiting en 0-10V OUT
aansluiting.
Gebruik voor het aansluiten van
de CO2Sensoren en ventilatieunit
een massieve kabel met een
diameter van tenminste 0,6mm.
Gebruik geen verlengsnoer
tussen de ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V en de wandcontactdoos.
Koppel maximaal één CO2Sensor
per enkele connector van de
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V.
Sluit nooit meerdere
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
aan elkaar aan. Op een analoge
ingang van een ventilatie unit
mag maximaal een enkele
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
aangesloten worden. (ComfoAir
Q met Option Box heeft 4 analoge
ingangen die gebruikt kunnen
worden.)
Het maximale vermogen dat de
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10 V
kan leveren is 50 mA bij 12 V per
aangesloten CO2Sensor.

4. Garantie
Zehnder biedt 24 maanden garantie
op de ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10V. Deze periode geldt vanaf de
datum van installatie tot maximaal
30 maanden na de productiedatum
van het apparaat.
De productiedatum is bij de
fabrikant bekend. Neem hiervoor
contact op met de fabrikant.
Vermeld hierbij de gegevens
van het productlabel op de
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V.

De garantie vervalt als:
■een defect het gevolg is van
onbedoeld of onvoorzichtig
gebruik van het apparaat;
■een defect het gevolg is van
vervuiling van het apparaat;
■er onderdelen zijn gebruikt van
een andere fabrikant;
■er reparaties zijn uitgevoerd door
onbevoegde personen.
Buiten de garantie vallen:
■kosten voor demontage en
montage ter plaatse;
■slijtage door normaal gebruik.
5. Demontage en
verwijdering
Als de ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10V wordt gedemonteerd, dan
moeten de voorschriften voor
afvalverwerking in acht worden
genomen die ter plaatse en ten tijde
van de demontage gelden.
Voer de ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10V af op een milieuvriendelijke
manier. Gooi het apparaat niet weg
samen met het huishoudelijk afval.
De ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
kan bij een milieustraat worden
ingeleverd.
Het is de verantwoordelijkheid
van de eigenaar van de
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10V om het apparaat op een
verantwoorde wijze af te danken.

Bevestig de ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V met vier pluggen en
schroeven aan de wand. Gebruik
pluggen en schroeven geschikt voor
het materiaal van de betreffende
wand.
Pluggen en schroeven zijn niet
meegeleverd.
Draai schroeven altijd handvast.
Gebruik hiervoor geen elektrisch
gereedschap.
6.4 Aansluiten van CO2
Sensoren
Voor uitleg over de montage
van de CO2Sensoren, zie de
handleiding van de CO2Sensor
0-10V.
De CO2Sensor kan worden
ingesteld als sensor of als
regelaar. Let op dat alle
CO2Sensoren die op de
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
worden aangesloten op dezelfde
manier zijn ingesteld.
6.5 Aansluiten op de
ventilatieunit
Sluit de 0-10V uitgang van de
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
aan op de 0-10V ingang van de
ventilatieunit.
Voor uitleg over de aansluiting
op de ventilatieunit, zie de
handleiding van de betreffende
ventilatieunit.
7. Onderhoud
Verwijder stof van het apparaat met
een droge stofdoek of voorzichtig
met een stofzuiger.
Reinig het apparaat nooit met
vocht.
Gebruik nooit reinigingsmiddelen.

1. Description
1.1 General
The ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10V makes it possible to connect
several CO2Sensors 0-10V to
the ventilation unit (ComfoAir E,
ComfoAir Q,
ComfoFan S, etc.). Up to five
sensors can be connected to
the ventilation unit; the highest
signal (0-10V) is transmitted to the
ventilation unit.

1.3 Checking the delivery
Upon receipt, check the following:
1. Is the packaging intact?
2. Are the parts damaged?
3. Are the contents of the box
complete?
Report damages, missing parts or
incorrect delivery directly to your
Zehnder contact. The contact
details are given on the back of this
document.

2. Safety
■Installation,
commissioning and
maintenance must be
done by a certified
installer, unless specified
differently. Installation
by a non-certified
installer may cause
injury or damage the
correct operation of the
ventilation system.
■The full installation must
obey the applicable
(safety) regulations as
specified in:
- The local EU Standard
on safety provisions
for low-voltage
installations.
- The manufacturer‘s
assembly/installation
manual.
■Make sure there is
no voltage on the
ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V when you
begin installation or
removal.
■Make sure the
connection cables are
not damaged.
■Keep the ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V away
from water and humid
environments.
Hazardous electrical
voltage! Risk of death
or injury due to 230V
electrical voltage.
Work on the 230V main
must only be done by
qualified electricians.
Keep children and
animals away from the
installation area.
Only install the
ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V as described in
this manual.
Always follow local
safety precautions when
installing the system.

3. Installation instructions
Install the ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V as close as possible to
the ventilation unit.
Do not install the ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V in a room with
condensation.
Incorrect connection can damage
the device.
Only use correct tools and
installation material to install the
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V.
Use the GND, 0-10V IN and 12V
connections to connect the CO2
Sensors 0-10V. Connect up to five
CO2Sensors (to the inputs IN 1 to
IN 5).
When connecting to the
ventilation unit, use only the
GND connection and 0-10V OUT
connection.
Connect the CO2Sensors and
ventilation unit using a solid cable
with a diameter of at least 0.6mm.
Do not use an extension cable
between the ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V and the wall
socket.
Connect no more than one CO2
Sensor per single connector of
the ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10V.
Never connect multiple
ComfoConnect Splitters 5x
0-10V to each other. Connect a
maximum of one ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V to an analogue
input of a ventilation unit.
(ComfoAir Q with Option Box has
4 analogue inputs that can be
used.)
The ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10 V delivers a maximum power
of 50 mA at 12 V per connected
CO2Sensor.

4. Warranty
Zehnder offers a 24-month warranty
on the ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10V. This period applies from
the date of installation up to a
maximum of 30 months from the
date of manufacture of the device.
The production date is known
to the manufacturer. Contact
the manufacturer if you require
this information. Provide the
details of the product label on the
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V.

5. Removal and disposal
When you remove the
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V,
obey the waste disposal regulations
applicable on site and at the time of
removal.
Discard the ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V in an environmentally
friendly manner. Do not discard
the device together with household
waste. Take the ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V to a recycling
centre.
It is the responsibility of the
owner of the ComfoConnect
Splitter 5x 0-10V to dispose of the
device in a responsible manner.

Attach the ComfoConnect Splitter
5x 0-10V to the wall with four plugs
and screws. Use plugs and screws
that are suitable for the wall.
Plugs and screws are not
included.
Always tighten the screws by
hand. Do not use power tools.
6.4 Connecting CO2Sensors
The CO2Sensor 0-10V manual
describes the installation of the
CO2Sensors.
Set up the CO2Sensor as a
sensor or a regulator. Make
sure that the settings of all
CO2Sensors connected to the
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
are the same.
6.5 Connecting to the ventilation
unit
Connect the 0-10V output of the
ComfoConnect Splitter 5x 0-10V
to the 0-10V input of the ventilation
unit.
The ventilation unit manual
describes how to connect to the
ventilation unit.
7. Maintenance
Remove dust from the device with
a dry duster or carefully with a
vacuum cleaner.
Never clean the device with
water.
Never use cleaning agents.

1.1 Allgemeines
Der ComfoConnect Splitter 5x
0-10V ermöglicht den Anschluss
mehrerer CO2-Sensoren 0-10V an
dem Lüftungsgerät (ComfoAir E,
ComfoAir Q, ComfoFan S etc.). Von
den maximal fünf anschließbaren
Sensoren wird das höchste Signal
(0-10V) an das Lüftungsgerät
übermittelt.

1.3 Kontrolle des Lieferumfangs
Überprüfen Sie bei Erhalt der
Lieferung Folgendes:
1. Kontrollieren Sie, dass die
Verpackung nicht beschädigt ist.
2. Kontrollieren Sie, dass
Komponenten nicht beschädigt
sind.
3. Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Inhalt
des Pakets vollständig ist.
Melden Sie Beschädigungen,
fehlende Teile oder falsche
Lieferungen direkt Ihrer Zehnder-
Niederlassung. Die Kontaktdaten
