Warnings
____________________________________________________________________________________
Never leave the arm down longer than is necessary, as this is dangerous and will
contribute to the element quickly burning out.
At all times keep fingers and other body parts clear of sealing strip. The sealing
strip becomes hot and may cause injury.
Always disconnect the Sealer from the power source before performing any
maintenance/cleaning.
DO NOT:
1. Take the Sealer apart –doing so will void the warranty!
2. Leave the Sealer unattended. Before leaving the work area, unplug the
unit. Keep the unit unplugged when not in use.
3. Operate the Sealer with a damaged power cord. Replace damaged
power cords.
4. Submerge the Sealer or power cord in water or any other liquid. Never
rinse under a tap.
5. Use the Sealer outdoors.
6. Let the power cord hang over the edge of the work surface. Ensure that
the Sealer is on a stable work surface.
7. Disconnect by pulling on the cord. To disconnect, unplug directly from
the power source.
Plug the Sealer into a grounded 3-prong power source that complies with
electrical specifications. Avoid using an extension cord.
The Sealer is ONLY intended to be used with bags specifically designed for heat
sealing. DO NOT use with grocery or produce bags, or any other household bags!

Q: I have a specific type of bag material I want to seal; can I use
it on a Zentesi Sealer?

Q: How long will my sealer last?
A: Zentesi Impulse sealers are designed to last a lifetime if used
Correctly. See instructions (page info). Though the Sealers
are subject to wear over time; you received a spare Teflon
replacement strip with your Sealer.
Q: Does my sealer come with a warranty?
A: Yes, Zentesi Impulse heat sealers include an immediate 90-
day warranty.

SERIOUS WARNING
This is not a toy! Serious damage can occur to the machine and its
environment if used incorrectly.
Never leave the Teflon strip exposed when you bring down the arm.
This will cause the Teflon strip to burn quickly. We recommend that you
use off cuts of the bag you are sealing to cover the remaining Teflon
strip.

Safety Precautions & Guidelines

1. Always keep the Sealing Platform clean.
2. Never use moisture to clean the Sealing Band.
3. Disconnect the Sealer from all electrical outlets before servicing.
4. Supervise children closely when using the Sealer.
5. Risk of severe burns. When in use, the Sealing Band and
surrounding areas are hot.

Operating Instructions

1. Ensure the Sealer is connected to the main power supply.
The Sealer does not have a switch. The machine is powered
only when the Sealing Arm is lowered.
2. Check the thickness of the bag you are sealing and adjust the
sealing time on the timer (1-8). Use a higher number for
thicker bags (we recommend setting the time to number 3,
as this setting will seal most bags perfectly, however, please
adjust the time according to the seal)
3. Start sealing by pressing down the handle.
4. The timer starts when the Indicator Light turns on and ends
when the Indicator Light shuts off.
5. When the Indicator Light is off and sealing is complete, raise
the Sealing Arm. Raising the Sealing Arm will turn off the
Sealer. (Warning: The Heating Band might still be hot. Do
not touch it until cold).
6. If the seal burns through, use a lower number on the Timer.
7. If the seal is not tight, use a higher number on the Timer.
8. We recommend you disconnect the machine from the main
power supply, when not in use, however this is not required
as the Sealer will not consumer power if the Sealer Arm is
up.

Teflon Tape & Heater Wire Replacement
____________________________________________________________________________________
Please use a Plus screwdriver.
Note:
•Remove the power plug from the outlet.
•DO NOT immediately replace after use or when it is hot.
* Small parts are removed and attached during replacement. Please
be careful not to lose them.

Teflon Tape Replacement
____________________________________________________________________________________
Since Teflon tape is consumed by heat, you are required by law to
replace it.
1. Remove the following:
•Eight (8) pieces of protective seals at the bottom of
the main unit. (Remove 8 screws with a Plus
screwdriver)
•The heating time adjustment parts
•Teflon tape and saute the new Teflon 70 on the
heater line. (Figure 2)
•Teflon tape from one side so that the tape is not
loose. Please stick it.
2. Reverse steps from ②to ①and install the parts again.
Heat Wire Replacement
____________________________________________________________________________________
1. Disconnect the heater.
2. Remove the following:
•Handle parts
•The heater fixing screws x 2 and disconnect it
•The cable
3. Pull the new heater wire to the original position.
4. Hang and fasten new heater wire with the heater fixing
screw.
5. Fix Teflon tape on the new heater wire.
Note:
•When replacing the heater wire, replace the Teflon tape at
the same time
•Continuing to use exhausted Teflon tape may cause the
heater to disconnect.
•Depending on the frequency of use, the heater wire can be
used for 1 to 2 years.
•Since this machine is an impulse mechanism, there is no
power consumption when not in use.
•If you do not use the power plug or power switch for a long
time, unplug the machine
