Troubleshooting
Problem The device powers off when I try to record.
Solution This can happen if the device does not have a micro SD card inserted
or is not able to read a micro SD card. If a card is inserted, try
formatting the card. If it still does the same thing, make sure the card
is functional by testing it on another device.
Problem The device is “stuck” with the LED light on and is not responding to
any buttons.
Solution Sometimes when too many functions are attempted too quickly the
clock may freeze and require resetting. To reset the clock open up
the battery case and you will notice a white switch above the battery.
The white switch should be in ON position which is closest to the
USB Port. Take a pen or a pin and move the switch to Off (Left) then
move back to On (Right).
Problem The device detected motion and started recording, but continued to
create files after motion stopped.
Solution This can happen under certain severe lighting conditions, most often
if the camera is pointed directly at a bright light source, and
sometimes if it is facing a white surface under fluorescent lighting.
