Overview
Congratulations on your purchase of Zetta Z11 mini DVR!
Zetta Z11 mini DVR is a sleek and wearable mini DVR. The mini DVR comes with a built-in
rechargeable battery which can last up to 8 hours during typical use. By plugging in the 5V
DC adapter, it can achieve 24 hours circular recording for surveillance use.*
*Actual life and performance may vary depending upon usage and settings; battery not replaceable.

Digital video recorder – recording of 640x480(VGA) or 320x240(QVGA) video and sound.
Configurable video quality – high / medium / low
Circular recording – loop back recording once memory card is full
Time stamp – put time stamp on video
Frame rate adjustment – lower the frame rate to save memory space
Auto split file – split files for every 10 / 15 / 30 minutes, easily manipulated to Facebook,
YouTube, Twitter
Selectable day/night mode – select day mode or night mode to suit your environment
Auto daylight saving time(DST) adjustment
Support max 32GB microSD(TF) card (for better performance, use card with class 4 or
above and format the card before use).

Quick Start Guide
Charging
The Zetta Z11 mini DVR comes with an internal rechargeable battery. To use the mini DVR for
the first time or not using the mini DVR for a long time, remember to fully charge the battery
and resync the time by using the configuration tool (see section “Time synchronization and
custom settings configuration”). You can charge your mini DVR through the USB port of your
computer or the DC adapter.
To charge the battery through USB port, connect the USB cable to the USB port of the
computer and the mini DVR. For details, please see the status below. The mini DVR will
function as a mass storage device, you will not be able to record video at this moment.
To charge the battery through DC adaptor, connect the DC adaptor to the mini DVR. For
details, please see the status below. Moreover, you will also be able to record video while
charging.
Recording
The power button is located at the right side of the mini DVR. It can turn the mini DVR on or
off.
Start Recording
Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds until the green LED is on, and
then release the button. When you see the green LED flashing, the mini DVR is recording.
Otherwise, please see the status below.
Stop Recording
Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2 seconds until the green LED is off.
WARNING: Turn off Z11 mini DVR before removing card!

Zetta warrants to the end user, that this product, excluding content and or software supplied
with or on the product, will be free from material defects in manufacturing, will conform to
Zetta’s published product specifications and be fit for normal use during the Warranty Period
specified commencing on the date of purchase provided that the product is legally placed on
the market.
To make a warranty claim please contact Zetta at [email protected] within the Warranty
Period and provide proof of purchase (showing date and place of purchase and name of the
reseller) and product name, type and model number. You may return the product after first
obtaining a Return Material Authorization number and following any other guidelines listed.

Zetta may at its option repair this product or provide you with an equivalent product; and
if unable to repair or replace the product, will refund the purchase price. Zetta will not be

Warranty Information

Switch between surveillance, on-the-go and custom mode. Default setting is shown below:
Connecting to computer
To connect the Zetta Z11 mini DVR to your computer, follow these instructions:
1 Connect the larger end of USB cable into an available USB port on the computer.
2 Connect the smaller end of the cable into the USB port of the mini DVR.
3 The mini DVR will appear in My Computer as Zetta mini DVR.
Time synchronization and custom settings configuration
Download the configuration tool from www.zetta.com.hk/support/z11 and follow the
instructions in the software guide.
REMARK: If the time shown is year 2026 or beyond due to loss of Real Time Clock,
please use the configuration tool to resync the time and delete files in 2026 or
beyond!
Firmware upgrade
Zetta will from time to time release new firmware for enhancement or adding new features.
