Lens used In Nikon
Nikon SLRs support two kinds of manual lens, one is the lower-end type, such as D3000 series
and D5000 series, which only apply to M position, but not to manual photometry on body.And
another type is D7000 series or above D7000 series, including all full frame tape,which supports
lens metering without cpu lens.When using manual lens, A position( aperture priority) and M
position ( full manual position) can be used.
All DSLRs produced by Nikon have manual sharp focusing reminders.More information about the

SLR body settings
1.Set the no-lens-releasing option to allow state.
2.Always maximize the aperture while taking pictures. Only adjust the aperture ring in lens, not
the camera aperture state .
Approaches to take photos
When applying the A position, half press the shutter and rotate focusing ring. If the subject is
focused, then you would hear the tick sound and see the green spot in the viewfinder glittering .
The reminder of sharp focusing would be invalid, when the aperture is beyond f8.
In M position, the SLR is under fully manual condition.

Notices about lens deposit
Please avoid to exposure the lens in sandstorm, or in dusty environment for a long time.
Nor leave lens in humid environment for a long time, for it would boost mildew growth in lens
and affect the usage of lens. Therefore, drying oven is highly recommended in humid
environment.
Tips about lens maintenance
The lens cap is made of aluminum, therefore it can be wiped by clean cotton cloth with small
amount of alcohol.
