We are pleased that you have chosen Øm3. You will certainly find out in the next few
days if you have made a good decision.
Øm3, (IPX6) is the right lamp for water-proof and dust-proof notstrøm battery
(IP67). With the waterproof connector (IP68), you can operate the lamp without any
problem in rain but not in or under the water.
The bicycle/outdoor lamp was developed with great care to ensure that it is very easy and
logical to use. Furthermore it was of importance to us that the functions of the lamp are
limited and only those functions are available, which, in our opinion, are useful and
essential.
So now let’s get started to get you ready to mount your new lamp and try it.
Switching on the Øm3:
Connect the lamp with your notstrøm. When
you turn on the battery, the blue LED starts to illuminate
at the backside of the lamp.
Your Øm3 is now in stand-by-mode.
You can now turn on the lamp anytime by briefly pressing
the blue LED click button.
Illuminating the Øm3:
If you briefly press the blue-LED button of the lamp, the light is on – and always at the
lowest level.
We have developed Øm3 in such a way that four different light levels are available to you.
With each click, you can switch to the next level of brightness.
At the brightest level, the lamp can blind other road users or animals in road transport.
Therefore, we have set the brightness levels in such a way that you can switch from the
highest brightness level (high beam) to the lowest level (low beam) with one click.
The advantage of this infinite loop is that the lamp does not turn off but provides light
without interruption.
Turning off the Øm3:
Press the LED button for around 2 seconds and the lamp is then turned off. The blue
standby LED, however, still illuminates. In stand-by-mode you can activate your lamp
again anytime by briefly pressing the LED button.
The lamp finally turns off when you switch off your notstrøm battery.
Mounting the Øm3 aon the handlebar:
The mounting is very easy and only takes a few seconds.
The scope of delivery includes two flexible rubber bands in two sizes.
If you look at your lamp you will be able to see a guiding
hook at the front and back. Now select a suitable O-ring
hook it into the lamp, pull it around the handlebar and
hook it again onto the front side of the lamp.
You can also fix the lamp directly on the battery with a
rubber band - then you will have a wonderful flashlight.
Our headlight becomes very warm after turning it on at the highest light level.
Therefore, please make sure to keep heat-sensitive materials at sufficient distances
during installation.
Reserve tank:
If the battery is empty, the lamp will turn off. After turning on the lamp again, a
back-up power supply reserve is activated and the lamp can be operated for up to an
hour at the lowest level of brightness.
The flash durations can vary depending on
the temperature of the surroundings and
the maintenance and age of the battery cells.
Care and maintenance of the Øm3:
Important safety instructions
+ The lamp becomes very warm after turning it on at the highest level of brightness.
Please make sure to keep heat-sensitive materials at sufficient distances. The body of
the lamp is designed in such a way that heat transfer always takes place with the
ambient air through the cooling fins. Therefore, please always ensure that the body is
uncovered and is not dirty.
+ Store your lamp and the battery at such a place that it remains out of reach of children.
+ We recommend not to open the lamp, since this can damage the seals. Leakages due
to the improper re-closure of the lamp cover will not be covered by the guarantee.
+ Never look directly into the beam of light and never light it up in the eyes of people or
other living organisms.
+ Always observe the LED display of your battery. If the energy of your battery is
exhausted, the lamp goes off from one moment to the other and you stand in the dark.
Depending on the situation, this can be dangerous. Therefore, it is useful to keep an
emergency lamp ready at all times.
+ The use of very bright lamps may be forbidden in some countries. Therefore, please
be aware of the regulations applicable in your country. Before a bike tour to another
country, please find out if the use of this lamp on the bicycle or on the helmet is allowed
in the respective country.

Always keep your lamp clean so that the heat dissipation is not hindered. Never clean
the lamp with aggressive agents like cellulose thinner or benzene. If the lamp becomes
dirty, you can clean it with a damp cloth and a detergent.
Please do not spray your Øm3 with a high-pressure water jet – otherwise there is a
risk that water might enter the body and your lamp cannot be used as a source of light
anymore.
Guarantee
The guarantee of 1 year includes all components and covers production-related defects.
In case of improper use or changes of any kind, all warranty claims shall expire.
