6. 5The following example shows how to evaluate whether ZNSHINE SOLAR AUSTRALIA PTY
LTD. clamp is compatible with each frame system or not.
Please find the following dimensions before evaluating the frame system. If it is required to
change the screw size, please contact ZNSHINE SOLAR AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. (please note that
the unit used in the drawings is mm).
Example A: Aluminum frame installation
ZNSHINE SOLAR AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. recommends using M8 bolt fixing clamp. The

8
tightening torque of M8screw is 16-20N*M.
In the selection of clamp bolts and nuts, please pay attention to the size of aluminum frame
in advance.
The aluminum frame will restrict the fastening direction of screws. As shown below, the screw
cannot continue to be screwed downward. In this case, it is recommended to use the T-type cap.
Example B:C-type steel frame installation
ZNSHINE SOLAR AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. recommends using M8 bolt fixing clamp. The
tightening torque of M8screw is 16-20N*M.
In the selection of clamp bolts and nuts, please pay attention to the size of steel frame
in advance.
For C-type steel frame, a variety of schemes including T-type bolt are feasible in consideration
of the larger space inside steel frame section.

7. Module wiring
Each module is provided with two standard 90℃ lighter Diameter of 4mm2,each of which
is connected with the plug and mobile connector. This cable can be used in the condition of line
exposed to direct sunlight. Our company recommends that all wiring and electrical connections
shall comply with the relevant national electrical codes.
For the field connections, please use the copper wire with a diameter not less than4mm2
and sunlight resistance not less than 90℃.
The outside diameter of cable should range from 5mm to 7mm. See the specification part
for the maximum electrical rated parameters of serial fuse.
8. Tilt angle of module
ZNSHINE SOLAR AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. PV modules connected in serial should be
installed in accordance with the same orientation and angle. Any different orientations or angles
may result in the different amounts of solar radiation received by each module, thus leading to
the loss of output power.
The maximum power generation efficiency can be achieved when ZNSHINE SOLAR
AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. PV modules orientate right angle towards the sunlight. If it is
required to install the PV modules on a permanent structure, the tilt angle shall be adjusted
to the optimum winter use. The tilt angle of module should be determined according to the
situation between the solar module and ground. The optimum tilt angle of PV module is the
same as latitude of installation position in most cases.

12
10. Care and maintenance
10.1 PANEL VISUAL INSPECTION AND REPLACEMENT

13
The modules in a PV array should be regularly checked for damage. Factors such as glass breakage,
cable breakage, and junction box damage may lead to function and safety problems. In the case of a
damaged module, replace it with the same type of module. Refer to the Product Installation Manual for
installation and disassembly of module.
Check that mounting hardware is properly tightened.
Check that all string fuses in each non/earthed pole are operating.
Replacement modules must be of same type. Do NOT touch live parts of cables and connectors. Use
appropriate safety equipment (insulated tools, insulating gloves, etc.) when handling modules.
Cover the front surface of modules by an opaque material when repairing. Modules when exposed
to sunlight generate high voltage and are dangerous.
PV modules are equipped with bypass diodes in the junction box. This minimizes module heating
and current losses. Do NOT open the junction box to change the diodes even if they malfunction.
In the event that a module is damaged (broken glass or a scratch on back sheet) and needs to be
replaced.
10.2 CONNECTOR AND CABLE INSPECTION
Inspect all cables to verify that connections are tight; the cables are protected from direct sunlight
and sited away from areas of water collection.
It is recommended to check the torque of terminal bolts and the general condition of wiring at least
once a year. Also, check that mounting hardware is properly torqued. Loose connections will result in
damage to the array.
10.3 CLEANNING
The amount of electricity generated by a solar module is proportional to the amount of light falling
on it. A module with shaded cells will produce less energy and therefore it is important to keep modules
clean.
Clean PV modules when the irradiance is below 200W/m2; liquid with a large temperature
difference from the modules shall not be used for cleaning the modules;
It is forbidden to clean PV modules under the weather conditions of wind more than 4 grades, heavy
rain or heavy snow;
When cleaning with pressurized water, the water pressure on the glass surface of the module shall
not exceed 700 KPa (14619.80psf); the module is prohibited to bear the extra force;
When cleaning PV modules, do NOT step on the modules; do NOT spay water on the backside of
the module or the cables; do NOT clean the backside of the modules; keep the connectors clean and
dry; prevent fire and electrical shock from occurring; do NOT use as steam cleaner;

14
When cleaning the modules, use a soft cloth together with a mild detergent and clean water. Take
care to avoid severe thermal shocks which might damage the module by cleaning modules with
water which has a similar temperature to the modules being cleaned.
Use dry or wet soft clean cloth to clean the PV modules; non-corrosive solvents or hard objects are
strictly prohibited;
If there are greasy dirt and other substances on the surface of the PV module which are difficult to
clean, conventional household glass cleaning agents can be used; Do NOT use the alkaline and
strong acid solvents.
The back surface of the module normally does not need to be cleaned but, in the event this is
deemed necessary, avoid the use of any sharp projects that might damage the penetrating the
substrate material.

12. Bypass diode and blocking diode
Partial cover for single module may cause are verse voltage in the PV module covered. At this
point, the current twill be affected by other modules flowing through the covered area. If the bypass
diode is wired in parallel with serial PV module string, the affected current will flow through the
diode and bypass the covered PV modules, there by minimizing the heat generation of modules and
the current damage of array.
At present, ZNSHINE SOLAR AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. PV modules are equipped with bypass
diodes in the junction box.
Please don't open the junction box to replace the diode, even in case of any fault.
For the system using the batteries, the blocking diode is usually placed between the battery and
the output end of PV module to prevent the battery from discharging during the night.
The diodes used as blocking diodes must meet the following conditions:

16
—The average forward rated current[IF(AV)]is higher than the maximum system current at the
highest operating temperature of module.
—The peak repetitive reverse voltage [VRRM]is higher than the maximum system voltage at the
lowest operating temperature of module.
