ZyXEL AG-225H v2 makes it easy to find a wireless hotspot when you are on the
road.The dual-band tri-mode USB adapter is equipped with a high contrast LCD
screen with backlight and built-in LiON battery,which allows you to scan the
environment for hotspots without being attached to your notebook computer.
LCD Status Display
The LCD screen displays detailed site survey information for easy reading.
In addition, users can scroll through the screens to view network SSID,
encryption requirements, signal strength, band used, and channels used.
Dual-Band Wireless Client
Due to the dual-band tri-mode nature of the AG-225H v2,you can easily add
support for 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g wireless networking standards to your
desktop or laptop computer. Support for World Wide Radio (WWR) ensures no
matter where you are, you will be able to interoperate with the local Wi-Fi
networks. In dual-band environments,intelligent software constantly monitors
the wireless connection and will change bands to avoid interference and
maintain high throughput levels.
Enhanced Wireless Security
In addition to the basic 64/128/256-bit WEP encryption, the AG-225H v2 features
the latest wireless security mechanisms to protect your network with 802.1x
authentication and WPA/WPA2. These enhanced security functions allow only
authorized users to access the network,thus further protecting your data from
being tapped during wireless transmission.
