What you should know
The Console application allows for sending audio from a
microphoneorplayingfiles.
2N NetSpeaker
® recognises 3 levels of rights, which are
managedbythesystemadministrator.
CAUTION:Freerideisthehighestpriorityuserroleandshallbe
preferredinallzones.
TheConsoleprogramisusedforbroadcastingtopre–definedsessionsorinputsfor2N
users.Itisprimarilydesignedforbroadcastingaudio NetSpeaker
®via microphone
oraudio/musicinthemp3format(wma,ogg).
Connection and Settings
TheloginscreenisdisplayeduponConsolestart.Createtheusernameandpassword
usingtheControlPanelprogramoraskyoursystemadministratortocreateandassign
therights.
Enter the user name and password into the dedicated fields in the Console window
uponstart.Moreover,youhavetoconfigurethecorrecthostnameorIPaddressfor
login.Clickonthesettingpictogramintheprogramheader,seenextfigure,andthen

General Console Control
Primarily, Console is designed for broadcasting sounds orvia microphone
audio/musicinthemp3format.Theleftsectionwiththemicrophonepicturecontrols
themicrophoneandthemiddlesection–Listofsounds–helpsplayaudiofiles.Press
the"Add"buttontoaddasoundtotheapplication.Theright–handsectionisusedfor

®isanIPaudiosystemwhichallowsyoutoplayanacousticmessage

The IPAudioSystemconsistsoftwobasiccomponents-aserver2N NetSpeaker

andanaudioconverter.TheControlPanelsoftwarehasbeendevelopedtoconfigurethe
whole broadcasting system. Console and Player are software products designed for
everyday use - broadcasting messages via a microphone and easy music playing

2.2 Sessions
What you should know

Upon power up, the server automatically launches and starts
playingallsessionsthatwereactivebeforepoweroff.
Higherpriorityof theactiveSession thatalways guarantees
thisSessionwilloccupyallDestinationsassignedtoit.
Thelast-created Freeride sessionhas the highest priority= is
playing.
Sessions
The session determines the - connection, i.e. defines whichSource Destination

Additional Session Setting Options
Besides the basic settings, there are additional session settings such as Priority or
Channelsituatedintheright-handuppercorner.
Priority–setthesessionpriority.The prioritysessionisalwayspreferredtohighest
lowerprioritysessions.AhigherpriorityoftheactiveSession thatalways guarantees
the Session will occupy the destinations assigned to it (the source will play in the
destination).Thepriorityrangeis<1;10>,wherepriority10isautomaticallyassigned

Thisisaclassicprincipleofplaylistcreationincommonmusicplayers.Tocreateanew
playlist,movetheselected.mp3.wma...filestotheright-handwindowsection(for
thenewplaylist).Youcanselectmorefilesthanone.

To add files from a PC other than that on which the server is running to the new
playlist, use the "Add server" option. Thus, you move the file from your PC to the
server PC and play the file on the server PC even if your PC (Control Panel) is
