OVERVIEW
The 3Com®Baseline Switch 2026 is a versatile, easy-to-
use switch, ideal for users who want 10/100 switching
but do not need sophisticated management functions.
These switches are shipped ready for use with no
configuration necessary. Through incorporating the
latest in Green technology, this 3Com Baseline Switch
saves more than 20% of the power consumed by the
previous technology.
KEY BENEFITS
GREEN TECHNOLOGY
When no connection exists or a short network cable is
used, power consumption will be reduced automatically
to save energy (Only for GE Port). This Baseline Switch
also has no fans; power consumption is further
reduced, and its quiet operation is ideal for office
environments.
RACK-MOUNTED OR FREE-STANDING
CONFIGURATION
To accommodate multiple small-business
configurations, the switch is designed to operate either
as a free-standing or rack-mounted switch (mounting
kit included). The standard 19-inch, one rack-unit-high
(1 RU) enclosure optimizes the use of valuable office
space.
WIRESPEED SWITCHING
This switch has non-blocking performance—all ports
perform at wirespeed which helps to eliminate network
traffic bottlenecks.
ENTERPRISE-CLASS QUALITY AND RELIABILITY
WITHOUT COMPLEXITY
This Baseline Switch is operational straight out-of-the-
box; no configuration is necessary. This switch has a
Three Year Limited Hardware Warranty. Advanced
Hardware Replacement, with ext Business Day
shipment in most regions, is also provided.
