“Product Safety Guide” and the “User’s Manual” prior to the use of this
projector. Retain these instructions for future reference.
Intended Use
The 3M™Digital Projector DX70i was designed, built and tested for use
indoors, using 3M brand lamps, and nominal local voltages. This projector
is not intended for household use or use by children. The use of other
replacement lamps, outdoor operation or different voltages has not been
tested and could damage the projector or peripheral equipment and/or create a
potentially unsafe operating condition.

6. If the projector is used another 100 hours after the lamp’s service life is
reached, the power is set to the standby mode and no longer turns on.

Replace the Lamp Cartridge
The projector keeps track of the lamp usage. It will show you a warning
message:
When you see this message, change the lamp as soon as possible. Make sure
the projector has cooled down for at least 30 minutes before changing the
lamp.
Warning: Lamp compartment is hot! Allow 30 minutes to cool down before
changing lamp!
1. Turn off the power by pressing the Power/Standby button.
2. Allow the projector to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
3. Disconnect the power cord.
4. Push up and remove the cover.

5. Use a screwdriver to remove
the 3 screws from the lamp
module.
6. Pull out the lamp module.
To replace the lamp module, reverse the previous steps.
Warning: To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not drop the lamp
module or touch the lamp bulb. The bulb may shatter and cause injury if it
is dropped.
