- Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht und
betreiben Sie es bei Beschädigungen

- Lassen Sie das Gerät nur von Fachleu-

Gerätes und bei evtl. eingesetzten

V. Inbetriebnahme
- Geräte verbinden:
• Gehen Sie in die Bluetooth-Ein-
stellungen Ihres Smartphones und
suchen Sie nach: 4smarts B8

• Sobald der Verbindungsaufbau
abgeschlossen ist, ist das Produkt
einsatzbereit.
• Schalten Sie Ihr Autoradio ein und
stellen Sie die Frequenz ein, die auf
dem Display (1) angezeigt wird.
• Stecken Sie den FM-Transmitter
in den Zigarettenanzünder Ihres
Fahrzeuges. Das Gerät schaltet sich
automatisch ein.
• Das Gerät schaltet sich selbstständig
ab, sobald es aus dem Zigarettenan-
zünder entnommen wird.
VI. Hinweise zur Funktion
Freisprecheinrichtungsfunktionen
- Rufaufbau:
• Im verbundenen Zustand wird der
Ausgabeton ihres Mobiltelefons
automatisch auf die Lautsprecher
des Fahrzeugs übertragen.
• Anrufe werden weiterhin direkt vom
Bildschirm des Mobiltelefons oder
über Spracheingabe (z.B. Google
Assistant/Siri) angewählt.
- Annehmen eines Anrufes:
• Bei einem eingehenden Anruf
drücken Sie die Taste (6), um das
Gespräch anzunehmen.
• Während des Gesprächs drücken
Sie die Taste (4) und Taste (5), um
zwischen Bluetooth (für Musik) und
Freisprechmodus (für Anrufe) zu
wechseln.
• Das Drücken der Taste (6) führt zum
Beenden des Gesprächs.
- Abweisen eines eingehenden Anrufes:
• Um einen eingehenden Anruf abzu-
weisen, halten Sie die Taste (6) für
einige Sekunden gedrückt.
- Wahlwiederholung eines Anrufes:
• Während des Freisprechmodus kön-
nen Sie durch zweimaliges Antippen
der Taste (6) die letzte Rufnummer
erneut anrufen.
- Verwendung von Siri oder Google
Sprachassistent:
• Verbinden Sie das Gerät via Blue-
tooth, um einen Sprachassistenten
zu verwenden. Halten Sie dazu
die Taste (5) für drei Sekunden
gedrückt.
• Unterstützt wird dies z.B. von Apple,
Samsung und einigen anderen
Herstellern, welche Android als Be-
triebssystem nutzen. Bitte beachten
Sie, dass nicht alle Smartphones
diese Funktion unterstützen.
Musikwiedergabe-Funktionen
- Musikquelle wechseln:
• Dieses Produkt unterstützt die
Musikwiedergabe über Bluetooth,
ein USB-Speichermedium oder eine
micro-SD Speicherkarte. Halten Sie
die Taste (6) länger gedrückt, um
den Modus zu wechseln.

- Bluetooth:
• Dieses Produkt unterstützt die
A2DP-Funktion für eine verbesserte
Musikqualität.
• Wählen Sie einen Song auf Ihrem
verbundenen Gerät aus, damit die
Wiedergabe startet.
- USB-Stick oder micro-SD Speicher-
karte:
• Die Musik-Dateien benötigen eines
der folgenden Formate: WMA, MP3,
WAV, APE oder FLAC.
• Sobald Sie das Speichermedium
einstecken, startet die Wiedergabe
automatisch.
- Vorwärts / Rückwärts:
• Nutzen Sie, um die Wiedergabe Ihrer
Songs zu steuern, die Vorwärts (4) /
Rückwärts (5) Taste.
- Anpassen der Lautstärke:
• Die Lautstärke können Sie direkt
über Ihr Radio steuern.
- Play/Pause:
• Drücken Sie beim Musikhören
kurz die Multifunktionstaste (6)
zum Anhalten bzw. Fortsetzen der
Wiedergabe.
- Einstellen des Frequenzbereiches:
• Halten Sie die Taste (4) für längere
Zeit gedrückt, um die Frequenz zu
ändern.
• Drücken Sie die (4) und (5) Taste,
um eine Frequenz zwischen 87,5
und 108,0 MHz zu wählen.
• Nach 3 Sekunden ohne Eingabe
verlässt das Gerät automatisch das
Auswahlmenü.
VII. Fehlerbeseitigung
Der Verbindungsaufbau über Bluetoo-
th funktioniert nicht
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Produkt:
• nicht bereits mit anderen Geräten
verbunden ist (ggf. Bluetooth an
anderen Geräten deaktivieren).
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Endgerät:
• kompatibel zu der in den technischen
Angaben angegebenen Bluetooth
Version ist.
• eine aktive Bluetooth-Verbindung hat
und sich im Pairing-Modus befindet.
• keine anderen aktiven Gerätever-
bindungen besitzt.
Musik-Wiedergabe über USB oder
Micro-SD Karte funktioniert nicht
- Das Speichermedium ist nicht
verbunden. Bitte überprüfen Sie die
Verbindung.
- Überprüfen Sie ob das Format der
Dateien auf Ihrem Speichermedium
unterstützt wird.
- Bitte überprüfen Sie, dass die Lautstär-
ke nicht auf 0 gestellt ist.
Probleme mit der Verbindung des
Geräts zum Radio
- Keine Audioausgabe über das
Autoradio:

• Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass die Fre-
quenz ihres Autoradios mit dem des
FM-Transmitters übereinstimmt.
- Schlechte Qualität der FM Übertra-
gung:
• Wählen Sie eine unbelegte Radi-
ofrequenz, um Störgeräusche zu
vermeiden.
Keine Sprachausgabe, aber dauerhaf-
tes Störgeräusch
- Bitte überprüfen Sie, ob Ihr Gerät auf
Pause-Funktion gestellt ist.
- Bitte überprüfen Sie, dass die
Lautstärke nicht auf 0 bzw. sehr leise
gestellt ist.
Das Gerät reagiert überhaupt nicht
- Bitte überprüfen Sie, ob das Gerät
einen guten Kontakt mit dem Zigaret-
tenanzünder hat und ob die Anschluss-
dose funktionsfähig ist.
- Stecken Sie das Gerät aus und
anschließend wieder ein.
VIII. Gewährleistung
Die 4smarts übernimmt keinerlei Haftung
oder Gewährleistung für Schäden,
die aus unsachgemäßer Installation,
Montage und unsachgemäßem Gebrauch
des Produktes oder einer Nichtbeachtung
der Bedienungsanleitung und/oder der
Sicherheitshinweise resultieren.
IX. Hinweise zum Umweltschutz
Elektrische und elektronische
Geräte sowie Batterien dürfen
nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt
werden. Der Verbraucher ist gesetzlich
verpflichtet, elektrische und elektronische
Geräte sowie Batterien am Ende ihrer
Lebensdauer an den dafür eingerichteten,
öffentlichen Sammelstellen oder an die
Verkaufsstelle zurückzugeben.
Entsorgen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial
sofort gemäß den örtlich gültigen Entsor-

I. Safety instructions
- Do not open the device. Stop using the
device if it becomes damaged.
- The device should only be repaired by
a specialist.
- Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean the
device.
- Before cleaning or repairing the device,
or if the device is not used for a long
period of time, disconnect it from the
power supply.
- Never use force when plugging in the
device and the adapter (if used).
- Do not drop the product and do not
expose it to any major shocks.
- Protect the product from dirt, moisture
and overheating.
- Do not operate the product outside the
power limits given in the specifications.
- Take care that safety relevant compo-
nents or your view on the road do not
get blocked by electronic components.
- Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean the
device.

V. Operation
- Connecting devices:
• Enter the Bluetooth settings of your
smartphone and search for following
device: 4smarts B8
• Once the connection is set up, the
product is ready to use.
• Switch your car FM radio on and
adjust the frequency of the car radio
to the same frequency as shown on
the display (1).

• Plug the FM transmitter into your car
cigarette lighter socket. The device
will power on automatically.
• The device will power off auto-
matically after removing it from the
cigarette lighter socket.
VI. Function notes
Speakerphone functions
- Dialing a number:
• The sound of your phone is auto-
matically played on the car‘s audio
speakers after connecting.
• Phone calls have to be dialed
directly on the mobile phone screen
or via voice assistant (e.g. Google
Assistant/Siri).
- Answering a phone call:
• When there is an incoming call press
the button (6) to directly answer
the call.
• During a call press the (4) and (5)
buttons to switch between Bluetooth
(for music) and the handsfree mode
(for phone calls).
• Press the button (6) to end the call.
- Rejecting a call:
• When you want to reject an incoming
call, keep the button (6) pressed for
several seconds.
- Redialing a call:
• When the Bluetooth handsfree mode
is activated double press the button
(6) to redial the last phone number.
- Using Siri or Google Voice Assistant:
• Connect the device via Bluetooth. To
use a voice assistant press and hold
the button (5) for three seconds.
• Examples of supported mobile
phone brands are Apple, Samsung
and native Android system mobile
phones. Note: Some phones do not
support this feature.
Music playback functions
- Changing the audio source:
• This product supports music play-
back via Bluetooth, a USB storage
medium or a micro-SD card. Keep
the button (6) pressed to switch
between the modes.
- Bluetooth:
• This product supports the A2DP
function, so you can stream music
with higher quality.
• Select a song on your connected
device to start the playback.
- USB stick or micro-SD card:
• The music files have to be in one of
the following formats: WMA, MP3,
WAV, APE or FLAC.
• As soon as you plug in your data
storage device, the playback starts
automatically.
- Next / Previous:
• Use the Next (4) / Previous (5)
button in order to control the play-
back of your songs.

- Volume control:
• You can regulate the volume directly
via your radio.
- Play/Pause:
• Shortly press the Multifunction
key (6) to pause or continue while
listening to music.
- Adjusting the FM frequency:
• Keep the (4) button pressed for a
long time, to enter the FM settings.
• Then press the (4) and (5) button to
adjust the frequency between FM
87.5 to 108.0 MHz.
• The device will leave the FM settings
after 3 seconds without operation.
VII. Troubleshooting
Setting up the connection via Bluetoo-
th doesn‘t work
- Make sure that the product:
• is not already connected to any
other device (deactivate Bluetooth at
surrounding other devices).
- Make sure that your terminal device:
• is compatible to the Bluetooth
version, listed in the technical data in
this manual.
• has an active Bluetooth connection,
and is in pairing mode.
• does not have other, active connec-
tions running.
Music playback via USB or micro-SD
card doesn´t work
- The storage device is not connected.
Please check connection of your USB
device.
- Please make sure that the format of
files on the USB device is supported
by the device.
- Please make sure that the volume is
not set to 0.
Problems with connecting the device
to the radio
- The car radio has no audio output:
• Make sure that the car radio FM fre-
quency is set to the same frequency
shown on the device.
- The FM transmission quality is bad:
• Choose a blank radio frequency to
avoid radio interference.
No voice but static noise
- Please check if the player is on Pause
status.
- Please check that the volume is not set
to 0 or very low.
The device is not responding at all
- Please check if the device is in good
contact with the cigarette lighter socket
and make sure the lighter socket is in
good condition.
- Unplug the device and then reconnect
it.

The 4smarts GmbH assumes no liability
and provides no warranty for damage
resulting from improper installation or
mounting, improper use of the product
or from failure to ob-serve the operating
instructions and/or safety notes.
IX. Disposal notication
Electric and electronic devices
as well as batteries must not be
disposed of with household waste.
Consumers are obliged by law to return
electric and electronic devices as well as
batteries at the end, of their service lives
to the public collecting points set up for
this purpose or point of sale.
Dispose of packaging material imme-
diately according to locally applicable
regulations.
