"Assembly"should"be"carried"out"by"a"person"with"specialist"knowledge."
1." Place"the"paddings"(a)"on"thigh"area."–"With"the"ratchet"(b)"facing"upwards."
!" Afterwards,"the"logo"on"the"padding"should"be"readable"from"the"front"side!"
2." Set"the"spacing"of"the"paddings"via"the"ratchet"(b)"by"operating"the"buckles"(e)."
!" The"hinge"of"the"ratchet"should"be"centred"between"the"paddings."
!" Pull"out"the"ratchet"not"further"than"to"the"point,"where"two"teeth"are"still"free"behind"each"buckle"
(c)."
!" The"Velcro"can"be"released"for"adjustments"and"the"padding"can"be"opened"(only"applies"to"
straps"with"covered"buckles)""
3." After"that,"attach"the"hole"webbing"(f)"to"the"frame"tube"of"the"wheelchair."""
4." Tighten"the"ratchet"(b)"on"both"sides"equally"to"a"degree"that"still"allows"enough"space"for"a"flat"
hand"between"the"thigh"and"the"paddings."
5." Both"ends"of"the"ratchet"can"be"cut"to"length"in"a"semicircle,"if"required."Deburr"the"ends"of"the"
cut"ratchet,"if"necessary."–Danger"of"injury!"
6." Check"the"firm"fit"and"locking"on"both"sides"of"the"ratchet!"

are" subject" to" wear" and" tear." It" is" therefore" recommended" to" perform" a" thorough" inspection" of" the"
PELVI.LOC®""every"3"Months."It"is"thereby"important"to"make"sure"the"rivet"and"screw"connections"are"
firmly"secure!"

1." To"use"the"PELVI.LOC®""place"the"paddings"(a)"on"the"thighs""

Caution:"Make"sure"that"there"are"no"items"under"the"padding!"This"will"prevent"painful"bruises."
2."Important:!Do"not"put"it"on"the"hip"or"the"iliac"spine."
3." After" that," guide" the" ratchet" (b)" through" the" corresponding" buckle." For" that," operate" the"
corresponding"pressure"buckle"(e)."
4." Then,"tighten"the"ratchet"(b)"to"a"degree"that"still"allows"enough"space"for"a"flat"hand"between"
the"thigh"and"the"padding."
5." Make"sure"that"the"buckles"(c)"engage"with"the"teeth"of"the"ratchet!""

In"case"of"an"accidental"loosening"the"PELVI.LOC®*"positioning"system"can"be"tightened"again."
