4.Commissioning the Cooler
⚫Commissioning
1. Sanitise/Clean the Cooler –especially the inside of the cold tank.
2. Carefully lift the bottle onto the Cooler. Avoid water spillage into the Cooler which could cause electric short cuts and
electric shock.
3. Allow water from the bottle to drain into the tank before switching power ON. It should take about 30 minutes to chill
the water from 30℃ incoming to 5℃.
⚫No-Spill Guard
Peel hygiene label off water bottle. Place the bottle on the Cooler’s No-Spill Guard.
The stainless-steel Feed Tube pops the valve open and then holds it and re-seals it.
The valve reseals automatically when the bottle is removed. Even if the bottle is half full there should be
no leak!
5.Maintenance
⚫Always disconnect the Cooler from electricity before cleaning or working on it.
1. Never use detergent or chemicals harmful to health for cleaning.
2. Never spray water onto the Cooler. If necessary, just use a damp cloth to remove dust from surfaces and from the
condenser.
3. After cleaning the Cooler, make sure it is completely dry before switching power ON.
⚫If the Cooler will not be used for a prolonged period.
1. Completely drain water from Cold Water Tank through the drain nipple behind the front door.
Any remaining water will stagnate and grow bacteria.
2. Ensure that the Cooler is completely dry. Dampness can cause rusting.
3. Protect the Cooler during storage with a dust- and dirt cover.
4. When re-siting the Cooler sanitise it and follow installation instructions.
⚫Sanitising
Follow the Water Cooler Association (s) Guidelines as to the frequency and method of sanitising. If uncertain, request
information from your Supplier.
