6. Insert the other end o the long
ribbon cable into receptacle D as
shown in Figure 2. Slide the rib-
bon cable underneath the
restraining tabs H so that it is not
twisted and so that the ribbon
cable avoids the screw mount.
This placement ensures that the
cable will not be pinched or
squeezed once the extended
base is attached.
7. I you are adding a second M622
(2) to the telephone set, use the
short ribbon cable (172mm) to
connect it to the M622 already in
place. On the M622 (1) already
connected to the telephone set,
insert one end o the short ribbon
cable into receptacle E. On the
second M622 (2), insert the other
end o the ribbon cable into
receptacle F. Make sure the rib-
bon cable is not twisted and
avoids the screw mount.
6. Brancher l’autre extrémité du
câble plat long à la prise D, tel
qu’il est illustré à la igure 2.

7. Pour ajouter un second module
M622 (2), utiliser le câble plat
court (172 mm) pour le raccorde-
ment au M622 déjà en place.
Brancher une extrémité du câble
plat court à la prise F du M622
(1) déjà raccordé au poste.
Brancher l’autre extrémité à la
prise F du second M622 (2).
S’assurer que le câble plat n’est
pas tordu et qu’il n’obstrue pas la
monture à vis.
