Abakafone is a digital internet telephony device,
also known as internet or VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol)
phone, that was designed to look and be used like a regular
telephone and has all the features of a regular phone plus a lot
more including voicemail and teleconferencing. It uses SIP
(Session Initiation Protocol) technology to make telecommunica-
tion possible through the internet.
Internet phones work best when connected to high speed internet.
In recent years, high speed internet, also known as broadband,
was made more accessible and much more affordable to the pub-
lic, as a result, internet telephony has become a cheaper alter-
native to conventional long distance telephone communication
both for personal or business use.
If you already have high speed internet access for surfing and
email, why not use it for telephony?
