Installation_receiver tank, etc.
Inlet connection_ Among the two inlets on the side,
according to the level of the inlet, connect using a ball valve
and union as shown in the figure. The connecting inlet
should have a horizontal or downward sloping flow and
should not be angled upwards, such as on a camel, to
connect to the trap. This is because condensate does not
naturally flow into the trap.
Balance line_ Use a pneumatic hose or metal tube
(6-8 mm) to connect a balance line with the same pressure
as the inlet pressure. The balance line is usually taken from
a level above the level where the condensate collects
(mainly from the gauge if it is a tank).

To facilitate the inflow of condensate in places where it is
difficult to connect the balance line, install Air Vent2.
In this case, use the lower of the two on the side of the
housing for the inlet, and install the air vent on the side of
the balance line on the top of the housing. Air vents are
optional and must be ordered separately.
This installation method is used when
the inlet line goes from top to bottom
without bending. In this case, the
balance line is unnecessary, and you
can connect it directly to the top of
the housing entrance as shown in the
figure.

󱀣 If it is installed in an outdoor service
tank or in the shade of a building,
the condensate may freeze in winter,
causing damage to the ball float inside
and, in severe cases, damage to the
housing. At this time, use a dedicated
heater to prevent the condensate from freezing. Also, if
freezing is expected on the inlet pipe coming into the trap,
it should be kept warm by wrapping it with an insulating
material or a heating wire. Use the lower of the two side
inlets of the housing for the heater.
Power specifications are 220 Volts or 110 Volts.
󱀤 If foreign matter larger than the
nozzle diameter3of the ace trap occurs,
connect a dedicated strainer to the front
of the trap. To clean the strainer, close
the inlet and balance air and fully open
the ball valve connected to the strainer.
In this state, slightly open the balance air to clean it
thoroughly. It can be cleaned easily without disassembly
and assembly, and since the discharged air has pressure,
connect it to the exhaust pipe of the trap, taking care not
to splash foreign objects on people and the floor of the site.

󱀥 Using an installation bracket can
provide a more stable installation.
To install the bracket, unscrew the two
wrench bolts under the housing plate
and connect the bracket first, and then
fix it by anchor bolts into the floor.

Do not use two tanks with
different pressures for one
trap. Because the two tanks
have a differential pressure,
condensate moves from the
high pressure tank to the
low pressure tank, and the
trap does not function
properly.

blows the air out of the container to the
atmosphere. At this time, the pressure in
the inner vessel is lowered, and it serves
to attract condensate into the vessel.
There are several shapes, and types are
1/4” and 1/2”.
