is intended to be operated by adults. The product is designed for
domestic use only.

Notes on safety
■ This unit is primarily designed for personal household use. Do not use it for
commercial purposes.
■ Do not use the unit for any other purposes than those intended.
■ During use, it is necessary to ensure that the unit is located on an even, smooth,
hard and stable surface. Otherwise, this may result in weighing inaccuracies.
■ If the maximum weighing capacity is exceeded, remove the excessively heavy food
or item from the weighing platform to prevent possible damage to the unit.
■ Do not use the unit as a place for placing items. It must be ensured that no
items are placed on the unit during storage.
■ Keep the unit away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight and excessive
humidity. Do not use it in an overly dusty environment.
■ Do not place the unit near heaters, open fires or other equipment or devices
that are sources of heat. Use and store it away from flammable or volatile substances.
■ Keep the batteries out of children’s reach as they may present a hazard to a child.
If a child swallows a battery, immediately seek medical help.
■ Do not submerge the unit under water or any other liquid and do not rinse it
under running water.
■ The manufacturer takes no responsibility for damages caused by the incorrect use
of the unit.
■ Under no circumstances should you repair or alter the unit yourself. Have all
repairs or adjustments of the unit performed at an authorised service centre.
■ Tampering with the unit during the warranty period may void the warranty.

To insert or replace the battery
Battery Life and Replacement
Battery life is approximately 6 months, with standard alkaline AAA batteries.
• The supplied batteries are for trial use only, they may have a shorter life. We
recommend standard AAA alkaline batteries for a better performance.
When the low battery symbol appears on the display, replace all
batteries with new ones.
Batteries should be replaced after turning off the power.
Battery advice
* If the scale is not to be used for a long period of time, it's recommended to remove the
batteries to avoid damage to the scale due to possible battery leakage.
* Keep the battery out of reach of the children.
* Do not mix old and new batteries, with different compositions or of different brands
in order to prevent possible leakage, or an explosion.
* Do not heat or deform the batteries or expose to fire.
* Waste batteries should not be disposed of with household waste.
* Please check with your local authority for battery recycling advice.
* Replace worn batteries with new ones immediately.
* Use specified batteries for this unit with correct polarity as per marking.

Things to keep in mind
1. The kitchen scale is a high-precision measuring device. Please use the device for
intended purpose only. Please handle the scale carefully to avoid breakage.
2. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface during use. Using it on a soft surface like
carpet or linoleum may affect the accuracy of the scale readings.
3. To ensure weighing accuracy, please gently press the ON button to wake it up and
wait till 0.0 kg appears on the scale.
4. When not in use, please remove the batteries and place the device in a dry place
and protect it against extreme moisture, heat, lint, dust, and direct sunlight. Never
place any heavy objects on the unit.
5. This scale is not waterproof; never immerse the scale in water. To clean the surface,
use a damp cloth or glass cleaner.

After weighing press the button for three seconds to turn off the
scale. Alternatively, the scale powers off in 2 minutes if not in use.
The scale consists of unit systems like (g ,ml) and (lb:oz, fl:oz). Users can change units
from g to lb:oz or ml to fl:oz based on the load i.e. solid or liquid. While the scale is on,
select the required unit by pressing the button for 3 seconds until the desired
unit is shown, i.e - g/lb:oz or ml/fl’oz.
Operation
Before use, place the scale on a solid, levelled surface. Place any container or bowl
(if used) on the scale before operating it.
Gently press this button to turn on the scale.
The scale LCD display will show its start routine of segment as it powers on.
Wait until the '0' is shown on the display.
Place the item to be weighed on the scale (or in the bowl if required).
The LCD will show the weight reading.

Tare function
The tare function allows you to weigh a new item consecutively after weighing the
first item without removing it from the scale.
Gently touch this button to turn on the scale.
The scale LCD display will show its routine of segment as it
switches on.
Wait until “0” is shown on the display, then put the container on
the scale platform.
The LCD display will show the steady weight of the container.
Touch the button to clear the weight of the container
(reset to zero).
The lower-left corner will show icon , it means the Tare function
is activated.
Add the ingredients into the container.
The LCD will only show the weight of the ingredients.
Repeat touching the button to weigh different set of ingredients.

Negative value
The display will show a negative value (see LCD functions) if a weight has been
removed from the scale. Please press the button to clear the negative value,
the display will show “0” again.
Temperature and time display function
When the scale is at off status, the LCD will show the time and room temperature.
After turning on the scale, the scale also will show the room temperature.
.
If you need to adjust the time setting, keep pressing the button, you can select
12hr time mode or 24hr time mode according to button.
After confirming the mode of time, the LCD screen will flash time, you can adjust the
correct time according to buttons; press to confirm the hour display, then the
second will flash, you can adjust the correct time according to buttons and
press to confirm the time display; and then finish the time setting.

Countdown function
This scale has a countdown function, which operates as :
1. Turn on the scale, the LCD will show the following :
Mark: When the setting of the scale is in countdown mode, you will only have 30
seconds to set the time. After 30 seconds, the scale will exit the countdown mode.
3. After the countdown reaches 00:00, the scale will alert you through a voice alarm;
you can press any button on the scale to stop the alarm.
2. Keep pressing the unit button, the local time and the alarm icon will flash, then you
can adjust the digital number by pressing the button, then press button to
confirm the minute number; At the same time, the time icon and the alarm icon flashes
the status. You can adjust the digital number by pressing the button, then
press button to confirm and start the countdown function.

Maintenance of the Scale
* Place the scale on a solid level surface before use.
* Avoid hitting or dropping the scale otherwise damage may occur.
* Do not overload the scale or put heavy items on the scale when not in use.
* Treat the scale with care as it is a high precision electronic instrument.
* Do not immerse this product in water or any other liquid. Please keep it in a cool,
dry place.
* Clean the scale with a soft damp cloth, do not use chemicals.

1. Clean the scale with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in water or use
chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
2. All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices,
vinegar and strongly flavoured/coloured foods. Avoid contact with acidic or citrus
juices.
3. You can remove the bowl and wash it with dishwashing liquid or with soap.
4. Please keep the lid clean.
Troubleshooting
The “Lo” symbol on the display indicates that the battery power is running
low. Please replace your battery with new ones.
The “Err” symbol on the display indicates that the scale is over-loaded.
Please unload the scale surface to avoid possible damage to the product.
The “un5t”symbol on the display indicates that the scale is not stable for
weighing.Please move or shift the scale to a flat or a solid suface. Please
follow operation instructions for usage.
