American Custom Golf Cars, Inc. (ACG)
Your vehicle is designed to oper te exclusively on b ttery power.
It is “Zero Emission Vehicle” (ZEV).
The ide l pplic tion for b ttery-powered Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV)
occurs when the d ily driving p ttern is predict ble nd the dist nce is rel tively
short.
The ACG comp ny objective includes customer s fety nd product s tisf ction.
This “Owner’s Manual” is designed to cqu int you with the proper nd s fe
oper tion of your ACG vehicle.
Ple se t ke the time to re d nd underst nd the m nu l before oper ting your
vehicle.

SAF TY PR CAUTIONS
(Electric only)
The V system uses high voltage up to 58V DC and/or 240 V AC.
The system can be hot during and after operation and/or during charging.
Be careful of both the high voltage and the high temperature.
Obey all the caution and warning labels that are attached to the vehicle.
Never touch, disassemble, remove or replace high-voltage parts and cables
as well as their connectors.
High-voltage cables are orange. Touching, disassembling, removing or
replacing those parts or cables can cause severe burns or electric shock that
may result in serious injury or death.
To avoid personal injury, do not touch high-voltage wiring, connectors or
high-voltage parts (inverter unit, traction battery, battery charger, etc.).
If exposed electric wires are visible inside or outside of your vehicle, an
electric shock may occur. Never touch the electric wires.
If you discover a leak or damage to any traction battery, contact a ACG Dealer
immediately. Never touch fluid leaks inside or outside the vehicle.
The leak may be acid from the traction battery. If it contacts your skin or eyes,
wash it off immediately with a large amount of water.
Get immediate medical attention to help avoid serious injury.
If a fire occurs in the V vehicle, leave the vehicle as soon as possible. Never
use a fire extinguisher that is not meant for use on electric fires. Using even a
small amount of water may also be dangerous.
If your vehicle needs to be towed, do it with the rear wheels raised. If the rear
wheels are on the ground when towing, the motor may generate electricity.
This may damage the components of the V system and cause a fire.

Your Insurance may not provide coverage for accidents involving the use of
this vehicle. To determine if coverage is provided you should contact your
insurance company or agent.
Warranty Registration
The sep r te “Warranty” document includes “Warranty Registration Card”.
Your new T-SPORT® NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle) comes with
Twenty-Four (24) Month Limited Warranty.
The W rr nty begins from the d te th t the T-SPORT® NEV is purch sed from n
pproved De ler or Distributor of American Custom Golf Cars, Inc. products,
provided th t the “Warranty Registration Card” is received by American Custom
Golf Cars, Inc. within 45 D ys of the purch se d te of the vehicle.
If the “Warranty Registration Card” is not received within 45 d ys of purch se
d te, the Warranty commencement date will be the vehicle production date.
Please protect your Warranty and mail your “Warranty Registration Card”
today!
There re no other expressed w rr nties on your ACG vehicle beyond those set in
the ccomp nying “Warranty” document, nd no implied w rr nties of
merch nt bility or fitness to the full extent llowed by l w.

General Warnings _
1. This “Owner’s Manual” should be re d completely before ttempting to drive or
service the vehicle. F ilure to follow the instructions in this m nu l could result in
. property d m ge, severe person l injury, or de th.
2. When ch rging the vehicle, be sure th t the key switch is in the “OFF” position.
If the key is left in the “ON“ position, it m y d m ge the ch rger or the NEV.
3. Your vehicle is equipped with n on-bo rd UL- listed ch rger. When ch rging
your NEV, ple se be sure to use proper, grounded cord to provide power to
the ch rger. Ple se be sure to r ise the Front Bench se t of the vehicle to llow
. for ventil tion of the ch rger so th t it does not overhe t.
Please refer to the “CH RGING PROCEDURES” section in this manual for
further information on your N V charging.
4. Always obey all traffic regulations when operating the vehicle.
5. When stopping nd le ving the vehicle:
) M ke sure vehicle h s come to complete stop.
b) Switch “Direction Control witch” to the “Neutral” position N.
c) Eng ge the p rking br ke
d) Turn the “Key witch” to “OFF” position (vertic l) nd remove key.
6. We r s fety gl sses or pproved eye protection when servicing the vehicle.
We r full-f ce shield nd rubber gloves when working with the b tteries.
7. Use insul ted tools when working round b tteries or electric l connections.
Use extreme c ution to void shorting of components or wiring.
8. Improper use of the vehicle or f ilure to properly m int in it could result in
decre sed vehicle perform nce or severe person l injury.
9. Any modific tion or ch nge to the vehicle th t ffects the st bility or h ndling
of the vehicle or incre ses m ximum speed beyond f ctory specific tions, could
result in severe person l injury or de th.
10. Prior to servicing Vehicle:
. Chock the wheels.
b. Turn the “Key witch” to “OFF“ position nd remove the key.
c. Disconnect b ttery c bles, negative (--) c ble first.

3. Do not switch the “Direction Control witch” while the vehicle is moving.
To void d m ging the vehicle or injuring n unsuspecting p ssenger, lw ys
bring the vehicle to full nd complete stop before switching from
D (Forward) to R (Reverse).
4. To void unintention lly st rting or rolling the vehicle:
A). Set the “Parking Brake”,
B). Turn the “Key witch” to the “OFF” position (vertic l),
C). Remove keys prior to le ving the vehicle.

Any modifications or alterations to this vehicle could seriously affect its road
worthiness and safety and may lead to an accident resulting in serious injury
or death.
WARNING!
You can be badly injured working on an electric vehicle. Take your vehicle to
your ACG dealer or call ACG Customer Service at (909) 597-2885 for your

ACG pure b ttery electric vehicles re different from vehicles you might be
ccustomed to owning. Speci l prec utions should be followed when owning nd
oper ting n ACG vehicle.
Ple se re d this “Owner’s Manual” nd p y p rticul r ttention to the C utions nd
W rnings in this M nu l, s well s those pl ced on the vehicle in v rious loc tions.
In gener l, ACG NEV’s re designed to meet U.S. Feder l Government s fety
requirements for speci l cl ss of vehicle known s “Low Speed Vehicles” (LSV).
By this very n me, nd implicit in these s fety requirements, these vehicles re
intended only for use t low speed, up to 25 mph, nd on public ro ds (governed by
individu l st te l ws) where the speed limits re correspondingly low.
Specific to ACG vehicles, the following s fe h bits should lw ys be followed:
• ACG vehicles re open vehicles. For this re son, s fety belts should lw ys be
worn by ll occup nts to prevent being thrown from the vehicle during oper tion.
If your ACG is equipped with option l c nv s or pl stic doors, these were designed
nd re intended only to keep wind nd w ter out of the vehicle nd should not be
relied upon to keep occup nts in the vehicle or to protect them in c se of collision.
• ACG vehicles re not designed to meet ny collision or roll-over requirements.
Therefore, you should lw ys drive your ACG vehicle in s fe m nner while being
lert to potenti l d ngerous situ tions round you. As with ll motor vehicles, never
drink lcohol nd ttempt to drive n ACG vehicle.
• Oper te n ACG vehicle only on public or priv te ro ds where the speed limits
re ppropri te for low speed vehicles (individu l st te l ws v ry, so check with
your DMV) nd the tr ffic is light.
• You should never oper te n ACG vehicle so th t you re n obst cle nd
become n nnoy nce for f ster moving tr ffic.
• ACG vehicles re designed to be rech rged from st nd rd household 120 VAC-
15 Ampere electric l outlet th t is ground-f ult protected. Ch rging from circuit of
lesser c p city nd/or using cord from the outlet to the ACG vehicle th t is not
sufficient in wire g uge (AWG) could cre te fire h z rd.
Ple se consult “Charging Procedures Manual” for the proper extension cord g uge
which depends on its length.

• The volt ge in n ACG vehicle b ttery p ck (the b ttery p ck is wh t you ch rge
nd provides the “fuel” to the ACG’s electric drive system) is 48 Volt DC nd is
sufficient to c use de th by electric shock - electrocution.
For this re son, ACG owners should N V R ttempt to do ny m inten nce or
rep ir work on their ACG vehicle’s electric drive system, including the b ttery p ck,
unless they h ve h d speci l tr ining. The one exception is inspection nd refilling,
if necess ry, of the distilled w ter in flooded type b tteries th t c n be ordered with
ACG vehicles.
• In this “Owner’s Manual”, the bove s fe ownership nd oper tion h bits will be
pointed out to you s the different spects of owning nd oper ting n ACG vehicle
re expl ined. Ple se re d, underst nd nd bide by them for ye rs of s fe
oper tion nd enjoyment of your ACG Nei hborhood Electric Vehicle.

Driving and Alcohol
Your bility to drive your ACG vehicle c n be seriously imp ired with
blood lcohol levels f r below the leg l minimum. If you re drinking
lcohol, don’t drive. Ride with design ted non-drinking driver, c ll
c b, or use public tr nsport tion.
WARNING!
Driving after drinking alcohol can lead to an accident. Your erce tions are
less shar , your reflexes are slower, and your judgment is im aired when you
have been drinking. Never drink alcohol and drive.
WARNING!
Drinking alcohol can seriously im air your ability to o erate this vehicle.

SAF TY INFORMATION
WARNING!
Your vehicle is battery owered. If handled im ro erly, batteries can be
dangerous. Follow the recautions rovided on ages 53 to 72 during
charging o erations to avoid ersonal injury or damage to electrical
com onents in the vehicle.
• Re d the Owner’s M nu l before oper ting this vehicle.
• Ch rge vehicle in well-ventil ted re only.
• Keep children w y from the vehicle during ch rging.
• B tteries c n emit explosive hydrogen g ses when ch rging. Keep
sp rks nd fl mes w y from the b ttery re of the vehicle. Tools,
wires nd met l objects c n c use sp rks when shorted cross the
b ttery connections. Follow ll instructions c refully when de ling
with b tteries.
• The b tteries in the ACG NEV re six (6) 8-Volt le d cid b tteries.
They re however connected in p ck configur tion to produce
HIGH VOLTAGE DC (48 volts).
These b tteries re either Flooded electrolyte type or Gel electrolyte
type nd re selected specific lly to optimize the oper tion nd
perform nce of your vehicle.
Never use or substitute any battery other than the original factory
approve batteries.

Avoid cont ct with skin, eyes or clothing.
• B tteries cont in cid, which c n c use severe burns. If b ttery fluid
comes in cont ct with your skin, flush the ffected re s with w ter for
t le st 15 minutes nd then seek medic l ssist nce.
• Intern l ingested: Get medic l ssist nce s soon s possible.
• Cont ct with eyes: Flush with w ter nd get medic l ssist nce s
soon s possible. While you re being driven to get medic l ssist nce,
continue to rinse your eyes by using sponge or soft cloth s tur ted
with w ter.
CAUTION!
When checking the electrolyte level in flooded batteries, be careful to never
touch the battery terminals.
WARNING!
Battery osts, terminals, and related accessories contain lead and lead
com ounds.
Always wash hands after handling the battery.
WARNING!
Improper handling of high vol age wiring, ba eries, or con rol sys ems
could resul in serious or fatal injury by electric shock.
Only qualified technicians should re air or access high voltage wiring,
battery acks, and associated systems.

Roll over Warning
Bec use of the higher center of gr vity nd the n rrower tr ck of this
vehicle, it m y roll over when some other vehicles m y not.
Do not ttempt sh rp turns or brupt m neuvers or other uns fe driving
ctions th t c n c use loss of vehicle control nd possible roll over.
F ilure to oper te this vehicle s fely m y result in n ccident, roll over,
nd serious injury or de th.
Bec use of its open-body construction, your vehicle offers less
protection th n closed vehicles in the event of n ccident.
CAUTION!
The to is not designed to carry any additional loads such as roof racks,
s are tires, building, hunting, or cam ing su lies, and/or luggage, etc.
Also, it was not designed as a structural member of the vehicle, and thus
cannot ro erly carry any additional loads other than environmental (rain,
snow, etc.)

Controls and Indicators
Key Switch
The “Key witch” is mounted on the d sh to the right of the steering column.
It h s two positions:
1. OFF position- There is no power to vehicle. (Key is Vertical as shown in picture below)
2. ON position- vehicle is ON nd c n be driven. (Key is turned clockwise 45 degrees)
WARNING!
Never turn the “Key witch” to the “OFF” position while the vehicle is
in motion. This could le d to loss of speed control nd loss of control
of the vehicle. This c n c use serious ccident.

Direction Control Switch
The “Direction Control witch” is 3 position “rocker” switch th t is loc ted on the
vehicle d sh p nel to the right of the vehicle center nd to the right of the “ Lights
witch”. The switch is l beled “Direction”.
There re three (3) distinct positions: D, N nd R nd so indic ted on l bel to the
Right of the switch.
(witch shown in ”Neutral” position)
1.) D Drive = FORWARD - To oper te the vehicle in the forw rd direction,
press the rocker switch t the top indic ted by D, when the “Key witch”
is in the “ON” position (horizont l) the “Direction Control witch” position is
indic ted on the vehicle displ y by showing D t the top Left corner of the
displ y.
2.) N N UTRAL - When the switch is in the centr l position the vehicle is in
“Neutr l” nd will not move when the cceler tor ped l is depressed. When
the “Key witch” is in the “ON” position (horizont l) the “Direction Control
witch” position is indic ted on the vehicle displ y by showing N t the top
Left corner of the displ y.
3.) R R V RS - To oper te the vehicle in the reverse direction, press the
rocker switch t the bottom indic ted by R, when the “Key witch” is in
the “ON” position (horizont l) the “Direction Control witch” position is
indic ted on the vehicle displ y by showing R t the top Left corner of the
displ y. Your vehicle h s been equipped with reverse w rning beeper so
th t when the vehicle is in reverse you will he r loud beeping sound which
is sign ling th t it is in “Reverse”.

CAUTION!
Alw ys bring the vehicle to complete stop before ch nging the
position of the “Direction Control witch”.
IMPORTANT!
The vehicle “Direction Control Switch” MUST be ini ially in he neu ral N
cen ral posi ion when you firs urn he “Key Switch” o he “ON”
posi ion; hereaf er you can selec forward drive D or he reverse R .
The car will no move unless you firs s ar in neu ral N !

Accelerator Pedal
The “Accelerator Pedal” is the ped l on the right, with the word “GO” molded into it.
The oper tion of the cceler tor ped l differs from th t of n Automobile. When the
“Key witch” is in the “ON” position, depressing the cceler tor ped l will rele se
the p rking br ke. As the cceler tor ped l is depressed speed will incre se until
full speed is re ched. When you rele se the cceler tor ped l the power to the
motor is cut OFF nd the motor will stop running c using the vehicle to co st.
WARNING!
The N V will not stop automatically when the “Accelerator Pedal” is released.
You must depress the “Brake Pedal” in order for the vehicle to come to a

Brake Pedal
The “Brake Pedal” is the l rge ped l on the left with the word “STOP” molded into it.
To slow or stop the vehicle, rele se the “Accelerator Pedal” nd then depress the
br ke ped l with your foot until the NEV h s come to complete stop or the vehicle
h s slowed to your desired speed.
Park Brake Pedal
The “Park Brake Pedal” is the sm ll r ised portion in the upper left corner of the
“Brake Pedal”. It h s the word “PARK” molded into it.
To set the p rk br ke, depress the “Brake Pedal” firmly nd tilt the p rk br ke
portion of the ped l forw rd with your foot.
WARNING!
The “Park Brake” will release automatically when either the “Accelerator
Pedal” or “Brake Pedal” is depressed. The park brake has multiple locking
positions and should be firmly pressed and locked to prevent the vehicle
from rolling.
