Acme CA-DS14 DMX Splitter is a DMX-512 distributor and amplifier. It’s specially
designed for connection of DMX receivers (Moving heads, color changers, dimmers,
etc.) in a daisy chain configuration. Acme CA-DS14& CA-DS18 can overcome the
restriction that single RS-485 can only connect 32 sets of lighting equipment.
Nowadays, It’s indispensable that multiple DMX-512 outputs optically isolated in
many DMX controlled systems. CA-DS14 or CA-DS18 provides total electrical
isolation between different branches in a daisy chain group. This greatly decreases
problems with ground loops. CA-DS14&CA-DS18 will efficiently buffer and magnify
the DMX signal that can make the DMX data transmission more accurate and
reliable.
