shooting Section for the par-
titular soundina devices and
modules beina used.
B. Wiring breaks and/or short circuits
do not permit device(s) to operate. Check all wiring to sounding de-
vices. Repair or replace as
required. In the case of sirens
using driver modules, check for
a blown fuse.
C. Polarity to driver module is reversed
at relay panel. Observe proper polarity. Bear in
mind that terminal I on relay
panel is negative (-1 and terminal
2 is .positive (+I.
D. Disconnected or discharged bell bat-
tery or power supply (be sure any
rechargeable batteries in Recharqe-A-
Packs are fully charged; charge bat-
teries for 24 hours without a load).
Check connections of bell battery
or power supply to terminals 3 and
4 of control panel. Replace de-
fective batteries if they do not
measure substantially close to 6
volts when the bell or other
sounding device is operating.
E. Make changes in wiring (see note
at the end of this section; see
also Part I, Section G).
Wires leading from control panel to
sounding devices do not conform to
specified procedures.
