The ADJ AV6 is the highest resolution pixel display LED panel offering from ADJ Products, LLC. Designed for Indoor use on
installations, broadcast or corporate productions this light weight, easy to handle and transport LED video panel features all the pro-grade
requirements for a high resolution display while also delivering modular rigging and design options. Featuring Black face LED's for high contrast
and at 1,200 nits the brightness level is enough to perform well in high ambient light conditions and the light weight design 23lbs per cabinet
allows you to rig or floor mount the unit easily.

Warranty Information
MANUFACTURER’S LIMITEDWARRANTY
A. ADJ Products, LLC hereby warrants, to the original purchaser, ADJ Products, LLC products to be free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a prescribed period from
territories. It is the owner’s responsibility to establish the date and place of purchase by acceptable evidence, at the time service is sought.
B. For warranty service you must obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#) before sending back the product- -- please contact ADJ Products, LLC Service Department at 800-322-6337.
Send the product only to the ADJ Products, LLC factory. All shipping charges must be pre-paid. If the requested repairs or service (including parts replacement) are within the terms of this
warranty, ADJ Products, LLC will pay return shipping charges only to a designated point within the United States. If the entire instrument is sent, it must be shipped in it’s original package.
No accessories should be shipped with the product. If any accessories are shipped with the product, ADJ Products, LLC shall have no liability whatsoever for loss of or damage to anysuch
accessories, nor for the safe return thereof.

This warranty is the only written warranty applicable to ADJ Products, LLC Products and supersedes all prior warranties and written descriptions of warranty terms and conditions heretofore

Rigging & Installation
Physical installation
•Warning! The safety and suitability of lifting equipment, installation location, anchoring method, mounting hardware and electrical
installation is the responsibility of the installer. All local safety regulations and legal requirements must be observed when installing and
connecting AV6 panels.
•Warning! Installation must be carried out by qualified professionals only.
•Warning! Ensure that any structure used for support as well as all fastening and connecting hardware can hold at least 10 times the weight of all
supported devices and equipment.
Hanging Installation
•A maximum of 20 panels may be suspended from eachother in a curtain. An unlimited number of curtains may be installed alongside each other
(Additional processing may be necessary).
•Check that the structure can bear atleast 10times the weight of all the panels, clamps, cables, auxiliary equipment, etc that it will have to
support.
•Check that the structure will not flex under the weight ofthe panels. Hanging panels from a structure that isnot straight will place a strain on
panels. Damage caused topanels by mechanical stress isnotcovered bythe product warranty.
•Block access under the work area. Working from a stable platform, hang the panel byfastening the rigging clamps oreyebolts or the header
piece to the truss orstructure.
•This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code bya person familiar with the construction and operation of the
product and hazards involved.
•When installing the unit, the trussing or area of installation must be able to hold 10 times the weight without any deformation. When installing the
unit must besecured with a secondary safety attachment, e.g. and appropriate safety cable. Never stand directly below the unit when mounting,
removing, orservicing the unit.
•Overhead mounting requires extensive experience, including calculating working load limits, installation material being used, and periodic safety
inspection ofall installation material andunit. Ifyou lack these qualifications, donot attempt the installation yourself.
•These installation should bechecked bya skilled person once ayear.

Hanging Installation
The AV6 header piece come in a single option only. The headers connect to the panels just like panels connect to other panels.
The vertical locking pieces should lock twist to lock the panel in place, flush with the header piece. The header piece is then rigged to the truss or
other rigging implement(s).

When building a panel array, it is advisable to build the array in one piece, right to left looking at the rear of the screen. This way, the panels can be
easilyand evenlyconfigured toproduce a seamless array.
When adding a horizontal panel, the horizontal locking pins should be retracted. Once the next panel is in place, release the horizontal locking pin
and loosely screw it into place so it is locked with the panel beside it. Only tighten it up once the front of the panels are completely seamless. Note
that fastening the locking pins too tight can warp the screen and prevent a seamless screen.

The images below will show how to link and lock the panels together. The linking of panels should only be
done be lighting professionals. If there are questions regarding setting up the panel’s please call customer
support.

Place the panels side by side, making sure the male
locking pin hole lines up with the female locking pin
plate located on the other panel.

Push the male locking pin through the female locking pin plate located on the next panel. Turn the locking
pin clockwise so that male locking pin settles into the locking pin plate home.

When the male locking pin is resting securely in the locking pin plate, continue to rotate the male locking pin
knob clockwise. The knob will turn independently of the pin, continue to rotate the knob until it is tightened
and will no longer turn.

Installing the Software
The Nova Star Control software is used to configure the EPT
VSC unit and as an extension of that, the LED Panels
connected.
It is supplied on CD with your purchased product, and canalso
be downloaded from the support section of the ADJ website -
http://www.adj.com/mctrl-300
Installation is simple, download the file and unzip it from the
folder (if necessary). Double click the .exe file in windows
explorer and follow the onscreen instructions as shownhere.
Note that the control units should NOT be connected to the
control computer prior to installation and the Nova software
shouldbeallowedthroughallfirewalls.
Click “Next” to start the installation.

Configuring
the Screen
This Chapter will discuss the software setup & configuration steps needed to use the screen.
The image below illustrates a typical system setup for the AV6 panels and MCTRL300 processor.
At this point, the screen panels should be connected to the power source and connected to the MCTRL300 via Ethernet cabling as discussed in the
previous chapter.
Note that the amount of one port on the MCTRL300 unit can process imagery for 580,000 pixels. So, one ethernet port can connect up to 53 AV6 panels.
