1. Remove the computer cover according to the manual.
2. Locate a vacant x4, x8, x16 or faster slot.
3. Remove the slot cover (if any).
4. Carefully position the PCIe-9834 in the selected PCI
express slot. If installing in a tower computer, align
the board with the board slots.
5. Press the board firmly but carefully into the connector.
6. Anchor the board with the screw.
7. Connect the SMB to BNC coaxial cable to the analog signal
source and PCIe-9834
8. Power up the computer.

Installing the Driver Performing Initial Capture
1. Download the latest driver from the ADLINK website:
http://www.adlinktech.com/
or
locate the driver on your ADLINK all-in-one CD and Run.
2. Follow the installation instructions.
3. When prompted, restart your computer.
4. After restarting, check the system’s Device Manager and
ensure that the entries appear as shown.
1. Connect your analog signal source (AWG) device to the
PCIe-9834 digitizer.
2. Launch the DMA utility by running
\ADLINK\WD-DASK\Samples\9814_34\Vb98x4AI\9814dma.exe
3. Follow the instructions to configure the PCIe-9834 for initial
capture.
