ELECTRICIAN INSTRUCTIONS
LG Unit
1. Install the LG indoor and outdoor unit according to LG’s instructions. Do not connect any
MyAir3 electronics.
2. If you would like to install both the LG & MyAir3 controller run the control wires to the desired
location, if you only want the MyAir3 controller on the wall connect up the LG wall controller in
the roof space it will be only be used to configure the system initially then it will be
disconnected & removed later.
3. Test the LG system completely using this LG wall controller.
4. Once testing is complete proceed to next step (Function Settings).
LG Configuration
Ensure your LG controller is set to sense from the remote “REMO”you will find this on the left of the
time (see picture below)
If your controller is not set to REMO follow the procedure below
1. Press ZONE
2. Press SETTINGS
3. Now press SENSOR to cycle between through the different settings until you get to REMO.
If you choose to install the system with both MyAir3 & LG controller you will need to set the LG
controller as SLAVE this is done by changing dipswitch S/W GR to 2.
S/W GR: 2 = LG IS SLAVE
S/W GR: 1 = LG IS MASTER

MyDict
1. Turn off the LG unit at the isolator.
2. Remove the LG remote controller from the fan coil unit terminals A & B (if desired).
3. Set the dipswitches on your MyDict as per below.

Bottom Left
Bottom Right
4. Connect the cable coming from the top of the MyDict to the LG controller connector (where you
would normally connect the LG controller, see picture below).
5. Connect the cable coming from the bottom of the MyDict to the MyAir3 control box.

1. Follow MyAir 3 installation instructions to complete installation.

Troubleshooting
MyDict Normal operation
Yellow LED –Short Flash, Long
OFF
Operation Normal
MyDict Communication error
Yellow LED –50/50 Flash
Check cable between
MyDict & FCU or check
dipswitch settings
Unit Turns OFF immediately on MyAir
screen.
When power is pressed via
MyAir3 buttons turns yellow
then immediately turns black
(OFF)
Check unit controller is
connected; check
removable green screw
terminal on MyDict is
pressed down firmly.
LG Controller Flashes 9C
This is normal when you first
power the unit on.
Please wait 2 minutes.
