SNAP VINYL TONNEAU COVER
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARRANTY AND PRODUCT USE AND CARE
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION OF PRODUCT. IMPORTANT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED THROUGHOUT
THE INSTRUCTION SHEET THAT YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Place the vinyl cover on top of the truck cab with the top side
facing the cab and the front rail resting on the truck bed front rail
cap.
Place the tonneau cover side rails onto truck bed side rails,
making sure that “side” labels face away from the truck box.
Insert the side rails into the front rail’s plastic corners and attach
by tightening the thumbscrews.
emove the thumbscrews from the rear rail plastic corners, and
while holding the rear rail with the rear rail label facing away
from the truck bed, insert the rear rail corners into the two side
rails. einsert the thumbscrews through the hole in the metal
plate that lines up with the threaded hole in the rear rail corner.
Hand tighten until secure. NOTE: Do not overtighten as this will
interfere with the designed movement of the patented Sure-Fit
Locate the bows and bow end clips, and slide a bow end clip on
both ends of each bow. Each bow is marked with its position
and the side rails are marked with those positions as well. Place
one end into the inside of the side rail channel at the
corresponding position, then move to the other side of the
vehicle and place the bow end clip into the channel. epeat for
Attach the provided c-clamps by loosening them up so that they fit
under the side rail of the truck bed at the locations labeled on the
side rails. Place the lip of the clamp into the side rail channel and
tighten the top mounted hex head bolt until secure. NOTE: Over-
tightening of the clamps may cause damage to the truck bed
and/or tonneau side rails. Torque to 40 in./lbs.
Special Note:
Depending on the model of truck, each cover has been
engineered for the proper number of bows and clamps. The
correct positioning and number of components are labeled on
the side rails of your tonneau cover.
Starting at the truck cab snap one snap and then move to
other side and do the same. epeat until all the cover is
secured on both sides, then fasten snaps on the rear rail.
When opening cover, begin at one of the rear corners and
continue to unsnap.
To remove the rear rail, loosen both side rail thumbscrews
near the tailgate. Gently pull the rear rail from the side rails.
