Using Your Bluetooth Hands Free Kit
Powering On/Off
Thebluetoothkitwillautomaticallyturnonwhenthevehicle’skeyisturnedtotheaccessorypositionandwillremainon
untilthevehicle’saccessorypoweristurnedoff.Afterturningon,thebluetoothkitwillautomaticallysearchforphonesthat
havebeenpairedwithit.Sinceitispossibletohavemultiplephonespairedtothesystemtheorderof priorityof
connectingwillbethelatestphonepaired,thephonemostusedwiththesystem,thephonesecondmostusedphonewith
thesystem.Ifthebluetoothkithasnotbeenpairedtoaphonepairingwillautomaticallyactivate.
Making a Call
Whenconnected to the bluetooth kit you mayuseyourphoneasnormalto dial numbers or search your contactslist
or by using Voice Dialing.
Voice Dialing
Toactivatevoicedialing press theANSWERkeyonthebluetooth keypad,the system will promptyouforacommand.
Clearlyspeak your command (example, CallShaun).Thesystemwillthen confirm the commandandinthisexample
willthencallShaun.
Ending a Call
Toendacallpress theANSWERkey.
Answer a Call
Whenthere is an incoming call the vehicle’sradio will be muted/turned off and thecall will ring throughthe
vehicle’sspeaker,toanswerpresstheANSWERkey.
Ignore an Incoming Call
To Ignore an incoming callpress and hold theANSWER key for 2seconds.
Redial the Last Number
ToredialthelastnumberpresstheUPkey then theANSWER key within 1 second.
Adjusting the Call Volume
Whileinacall,adjustthevolumeup/downwith the UP key or DOWN key,each press raises or lowers the volume by
1level. When the min/maxvolumeisreachedthesystem will beep 2timesthroughthespeaker.
Transfer a Call
TotransferacallbetweenbluetoothhandsfreeornormalphoneoperationpressandholdtheUPkey on the
bluetoothkeypadfor2seconds.
Mute the Bluetooth Microphone
Tomute/un-mutethebluetooth’smic pressandholdtheDOWNkey on the bluetooth keypadfor 2 seconds.The
bluetoothkit will automaticallyun-mute.
Pairing
Toactivatephonepairing press both the UPandDOWN keys at the same time.At this time you will need to activate
pairingonthephone, see your phones owners manual. ThePINcodeforpairingis1234andwillneedtobeentered
intoyourphoneatthetimeofpairing.
*Throughout this manual, ‘press’ refers to pressing for less than 1 second, ‘press and hold’ refers to pressing for 2
seconds.

Ifyour phone isnotconnectedtoor has beendisconnectedbyyou from thebluetoothkitbuthas previously been
pairedtothesystemyoucanactivatethemanualsearchwhichwilllocate your phone and connect to it.To activatea
manualsearch press theANSWERkey.
Reset / Clear All Paired Phones
Topermanently removeallpairedphonesfromthebluetoothkit press and hold both the UPandDOWN keys
togetherfor10 seconds.
