User instructions
1. To open battery compartment, unscrew the cap in a counter-clockwise
direction.
2. Insert 3 AA batteries (included) into the battery compartment according to
polarity shown.
3. To close the battery compartment, screw the cap on in a clockwise direction.
4. Lift handles; make sure they are not touching the base of the light.
5. To turn on the lantern, grab the top of the lantern and pull gently to slide the
light out until it stops. DO NOT pull from handles.
6. To turn off the lantern, push down on the top until the lantern fully closes.
7. To hang the lantern, pull out the hook from the bottom of the battery
compartment.
8. To use the magnetic base, adhere to metal surface.

Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the Pop-Up Lantern is turned off before cleaning or storing
the item.
1. Use a damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the Pop-Up Lantern if necessary.
2. DO NOT immerse the Pop-Up Lantern in water or any other liquid.
3. If the Pop-Up Lantern is exposed to moisture such as light or medium rain,
please allow it to air dry for 24 hours before use.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS –BATTERY WARNING:
•DO NOT mix old and new batteries.
•DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (NI-CD, NI-MH,
etc) batteries.

1. Para abrir el compartimiento de las pilas, desenrosque la tapa en sentido
antihorario.
2. Inserte 3 pilas AA (incluidas) en el compartimiento de las pilas respetando la
polaridad que se indica.
3. Para cerrar el compartimiento de las pilas, enrosque la tapa en sentido
horario.
4. Levante las asas; asegúrese de que no toquen la base del farol.
5. Para encenderlo, agarre la parte superior del farol y tire con suavidad para
extender la luz hasta que haga tope. NO tire de las asas.
6. Para apagarlo, empuje la parte superior del farol hacia abajo hasta cerrarlo
completamente.
7. Para colgar el farol, saque el gancho de la parte inferior del compartimiento de
las pilas.
8. Para usar la base magnética, adhiérala a una superficie metálica.

PRECAUCIÓN:
Asegúrese de que el farol retráctil está apagado antes de limpiarlo o guardarlo.
1. Use un paño húmedo para limpiar el exterior del farol retráctil, de ser
necesario.
2. NO sumerja el farol retráctil en agua o cualquier otro líquido.
3. Si el farol retráctil se expone a la humedad tal como a una lluvia de ligera a
mediana intensidad, deje que se seque al aire durante 24 horas antes de
utilizarlo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD –ADVERTENCIA SOBRE LAS PILAS:
•NO mezcle pilas nuevas y viejas.
•NO mezcle pilas alcalinas, estándar (carbón-zinc) o recargables (NI-CD, NI-MH,
etc).
