0.1 Sicurezza
Nell'uso di macchine agricole, occorre essere consa-
pevoli che le parti meccaniche in movimento (lineare o
rotatorio) possono causare gravissimi danni a persone
e cose.
Gli utilizzatori devono:
•Attenersi alle istruzioni riportate sul presente
manuale.
•Evitare ogni uso improprio della decespugliatrice.
•Evitare di manomettere i dispositivi di sicurezza.
•Evitare di rimuovere i dispositivi di sicurezza eccetto
che per operazioni di manutenzione, avendo cura di
rimontarli ad operazione eseguita.
•Eseguire con regolarità gli interventi di manutenzione.
•Procurarsi esclusivamente ricambi originali soprat-
tutto per i componenti che svolgono funzioni di sicu-
rezza.
Ai fini della sicurezza è necessario che:
•Sia disponibile la documentazione originale di uso e
manutenzione della decespugliatrice.
•Tale documentazione sia stata accuratamente letta
e che le prescrizioni vengano conseguentemente
messe in pratica.
•Vengano assegnate persone adeguatamente adde-
strate.
•La documentazione deve essere conservata con
cura per consultazioni future.
0.2 Personale addetto alla decespugliatrice
Il personale addetto alla decespugliatrice può essere
differenziato per grado di preparazione e responsabi-
lità in:
OPERATORE - Persona non necessariamente di ele-
vate conoscenze tecniche, addestrata alla conduzione
ordinaria della decespugliatrice, per esempio: messa
in marcia, arresto di fine lavoro, operazioni di manuten-
zione elementare (pulizia, inceppamenti semplici),
operazioni di regolazione.
TECNICO QUALIFICATO- Addetto alle operazioni più
complesse di manutenzione e di riparazione.
Occorre che ciascun addetto non compia interventi al
di fuori del proprio campo di conoscenze e responsabi-
lità.
0.1 Safety
When using farm machinery it is necessary to be
aware that mechanical parts in linear and rotating
motion may cause serious injury to people and major
damages to things.
Users should always:
•Follow the instructions contained in this manual.
•Avoid improper use of the bush-cutter.
•Avoid tampering with the safety devices.
•Avoid removing the safety devices except for main-
tenance operations, always reinstall them after
maintenance.
•Take care of the regular maintenance.
•Install genuine spare parts, this is especially impor-
tant for the bush-cutter safety components.
Due to safety reasons it is necessary that:
•The original operating and maintenance instructions
manual is always available.
•The user should read this book carefully and conse-
quently follow its procedures.
•That properly trained staff be in charge of operation.
•This manual should be carefully taken care of
for future consultations.
0.2 Staff in charge of the bush-cutter
The staff in charge of the bush-cutter can be differenti-
ated according to experience and responsibility level
into:
OPERATOR - Person not necessarily expert from a
technical point of view, trained for the ordinary bush-
cutter operation, i.e. starting, end of session stopping,
basic maintenance (cleaning, minor cloggings), bush-
cutter adjustments.
TRAINED TECHNICIAN - Required for the most diffi-
cult maintenance and repair operations.
It is important that each operator does not perform any
operation outside his field of knowledge and responsi-
bility.

0.3 Segnalazioni sulla decespugliatrice
Prestare attenzione anche a condizioni di pericolo
segnalate a mezzo di targhette adesive poste diretta-
mente sulla decespugliatrice e di seguito presentate:
Fig. A Velocità massima e senso di rotazione
dell'albero del moltiplicatore. Attenersi scru-
polosamente a questa indicazione in quanto
un numero di giri più elevato può causare
gravi danni alla decespugliatrice.

decespugliatrice è in funzione.

0.3 Warning tags on the bush-cutter
It should be paid particular attention to the warning
tags placed on the bush-cutter and hereunder listed:
Fig. A Maximum speed and rotating direction of the
overdrive shaft. Carefully observe this instruc-
tion since a higher rpm speed may cause
serious damages to the bush-cutter.
Fig. B General danger, do not approach while the
bush-cutter is working.
Fig. C Lubrificating areas, where periodically lube
should be injected. See Chapt. 8“Mainte-

La redazione del presente manuale tiene conto delle
direttive comunitarie per l'armonizzazione delle norme
di sicurezza e per la libera circolazione dei prodotti
industriali in ambito CEE (direttiva Consiglio CEE 89/
392 e successive modificazioni nota come “Direttiva
Macchine”).
Scopo del presente manuale è di fornire all'OPERA-
TORE ed al TECNICO QUALIFICATO, le istruzioni utili
per eseguire in modo sicuro l'installazione, l'avviamento
e la manutenzione della decespugliatrice. In caso di
dubbi, rivolgersi ai servizi di assistenza AGRIMASTER
competenti per area geografica o contattare diretta-
mente l’AGRIMASTER.

This manual was edited in compliance with the EEC
guidelines for the equalizing of the safety rules and for
the free trade of industrial products within the EEC
(EEC Council guideline 89/392 and following modifica-
tions, known as “Machine guideline”).
This manual will provide the OPERATOR and the
TRAINED TECHNICIAN with useful information to
safety perform the bush-cutter installation, starting,
operating and maintenance. If you have any questions
please consult your AGRIMASTER dealer or directly
AGRIMASTER.
Notation
For the safety of people and things, and for the impor-
tance of some operations, particular symbols were
used, in order to draw the attention of the staff in
charge:
IT INDICATES SERIOUS DANGER WHICH MAY
JEOPARDIZE PEOPLE’S LIFE.
It indicates special procedures that must be fol-
lowed to prevent injury to people.
It indicates special procedures which must be followed
to prevent serious damages to the bush-cutter.

1.1 Identificazione del costruttore e della
decespugliatrice
Sul braccio attacco sollevatore è presente la targhetta
di identificazione (Fig. 1-1) con indicate le seguenti
informazioni:
1Dati del costruttore.
2Modello della decespugliatrice.
3Anno di costruzione.
4Matricola.
5Peso massimo della decespugliatrice.
6Marchio CE che certifica la conformità della dece-
spugliatrice alla direttiva della Comunità Econo-
mica Europea CEE 89/392.
LA DECESPUGLIATRICE È IN CONDIZIONI DI CON-
FORMITÀ CON LA DIRETTIVA 89/392 QUANDO
LAVORA CON LA TESTATA IN APPOGGIO SUL
TERRENO.

1.2 Per la vostra sicurezza
•Non rimuovere le protezioni di sicurezza quando la
decespugliatrice è in movimento.
•Durante il lavoro i coltelli non devono mai toccare il
terreno.
•Prima di eseguire qualsiasi intervento sulla dece-
spugliatrice, ad esempio operazioni di pulizia o di
manutenzione, disinserire la presa di forza della
trattrice, attendere l'arresto completo del rotore,
arrestare la trattrice e disinnestare l’albero carda-
nico dalla presa di forza della trattrice.
•Non tenere persone sulla decespugliatrice durante
il trasporto o il lavoro.
•Non tentare di introdurre o estrarre materiale con
qualsiasi attrezzo, in modo particolare con le mani
o con i piedi, quando il rotore è in movimento.
•Non lasciare il posto di lavoro incustodito. Se l’ope-
ratore si deve assentare, chiudere a chiave la
cabina di comando, nel caso in cui la trattrice ne sia
provvista, altrimenti è consigliabile scollegare
l’albero cardanico dalla presa di forza della trattrice.
•Dovendo lasciare la decespugliatrice incustodita,
assicurarsi che sia posizionata su di un terreno
piano e consistente e con la testata ben appoggiata
al suolo.
•Utilizzare mezzi di protezione degli occhi e del viso
(se la trattrice è sprovvista di cabina chiusa).
•Utilizzare alberi cardanici protetti.

On the lift connection arm, there is an identification tag
(Fig. 1-1) containing the following informations:
1Information about the manufacturer.
2Bush-cutter model.
3Year of construction.
4Serial number.
5Maximum bush-cutter weight.
6EEC Stamp attesting the bush-cutter conformity
with the EEC guideline 89/392.
THE BUSH-CUTTER IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE REGULATION 89/392, WHEN IT WORKS WITH
THE HEAD ON THE GROUND.
7Maximum pressure of hydraulic system.
1.2 For your safety
•Never remove the safety protections while the
bush-cutter is moving.
•During the bush-cutter operation the blades should
never touch the ground.
•Before working on the bush-cutter, for example
before cleaning or maintenance operations, always
disconnect the tractor PTO, wait for the complete
rotor standstill, stop the tractor and disconnect the
cardan shaft from the tractor PTO.
•Do not carry passengers on the bush-cutter during
operation or transport.
•Do not attempt to insert or extract material with
tools or especially with your hands or feets while
the rotor is moving.
•Do not leave the working area unattended. If the
operator needs to leave his place, to lock with the
key the control cabin, if the tractor is provided with
one, otherwise it is advisable to disengage the car-
dan shaft from the tractor PTO.
•In case you need to leave the bush-cutter unat-
tended, make sure the equipment stands on a level
and solid ground and the head is resting steadily on
the ground.
•Use eyes and face protectors (if the tractor has no
closed cabin).
•Always mount protected cardan joints.

La decespugliatrice NON deve essere:
•Utilizzata per sollevare pesi.
•Utilizzata per lavori notturni a meno che non sia
costantemente controllata da addetti specializzati
con apposite segnaletiche luminose a norma di
legge.
•Utilizzata con la testata in immersione.
1.4 Modalità di lavoro
La decespugliatrice può lavorare in quattro modalità
(Fig. 1-2):
ACon la testata in posizione orizzontale o inclinata
a contatto con il terreno.
BCon la testata sollevata dal terreno in posizione
orizzontale (per esempio durante la manuten-
zione di siepi).
C-D Con la testata sollevata dal terreno e in posizione
verticale.
La modalità di lavoro A èpiù sicura ed è quella consi-
gliata tuttavia, se necessario, prima di agire nelle
modalità B,C e D èindispensabile:
•Perlustrare prima la zona di lavoro.
•Farsi assistere da altre persone a terra che devono
controllare tutta la zona di lavoro.
1.3 Improper use
The bush-cutter MUST NOT be:
•Used for lifting weights.
•Used for nightwork unless it is under the strict con-
trol of specialized operators equipped with suitable
display lights according to law.
•Used with the head in the water.
1.4 Modes of operation
The bush-cutter can work according to four modes of
operation (Fig. 1-2):
AWith the head in horizontal position raised of the
ground or tilted in contact with the ground.
BWith the head lifted from the ground in horizontal
position (for example, during the hedges mainte-
nance).
C-D With the head lifted from the ground and in verti-
cal position.
Mode of operation Ais safer and therefore is the recom-
mended one, however, if it should be necessary to oper-
ate according to modes B, Cand D, before operate:
•Scour the working area before starting operation.
•Get assistance from other people standing on the
ground to check the whole working area.

2.1 Descrizione generale
SHARK è una decespugliatrice idraulica a 2 bracci
destinata ad aziende agricole di medie dimensioni e
per la manutenzione del verde pubblico e privato.
Viene utilizzata per tagliare erba, arbusti, cespugli,
canne e legna con diametro massimo di 2-3 cm.
2.1.1 Dotazione di serie (Fig. 2-1)
1Comandi a distanza con tre cavi teleflessibili per
movimento bracci più un cavo per azionamento del
rotore (con dispositivo di sicurezza anti-inversione).
2Rullo posteriore.
3Dispositivo flottante della testata (autolivellamento
al terreno).
4Dispositivo antiurto con biella oscillante.
5Motore e pompa gruppo 3.

2.1 General description
SHARK is a two-armed, hydraulic bush-cutter
designed for medium farms and for the care of public
and private parks and gardens.
Is utilized to cut the grass, shrubs, bushes, canes and
log with a maximum diameter of 2-3 cm.
2.1.1 Standard equipement (Fig. 2-1)
1Remote controls with three flexible cables for arms
motion plus one cable for rotor starting (with anti-
inversion safety device).
2Rear roller.
3Head floating device (self-levelling).
4Shock-proof device with floating connecting rod.

2.2 Dati tecnici

La funzione della decespugliatrice non è quella di lavo-
rare il terreno pertanto i coltelli durante il lavoro non
devono assolutamente venirne a contatto. Se ciò
avviene si determina una forte sollecitazione agli
organi di trasmissione ed inoltre possono insorgere
vibrazioni dannose a tutta la decespugliatrice.
2.2.1 Rumorosità
Le prove di rumorosità sono state eseguite con trat-
trice Massey Fergusson 375, potenza 54 KW a 2200
giri/1’. È stato rilevato un livello di rumorosità LEQ
(livello continuo equivalente ponderato A) di:
•73 dB (A) per lavorazioni su erba.
•98 dB (A) per lavorazioni su legna.

The bush-cutter is not designed to work the ground,
therefore the blades should never come in touch with it
during work. Should this happen a strong overload
would affect the transmission organs and harmful
vibrations might damage the bush-cutter.
2.2.1 Noise
Noise tests have been performed with a tractor Mas-
sey Fergusson 375, 54 KW at 2200 revs/1’. The tests
showed the following sound levels (class A continuous
equivalent pondered level):
•73 dB (A) for the mulching of grass.
•98 dB (A) for the mulching of wood.
