3 How to activate the
automatic
download of requested drivers
Under Windows Update you can always check if new drivers are
available for download.
This is particularly
useful in case you recently installed a new device.
How to set Windows Update to automatically download
new drivers and

1. In the Taskbar, click on the Start button . .
2. Click on Devices and Printers.
The window Devices and Printers will open.
3. Right click on the name of your computer.
4. Click on Device Installation Settings.

Open a terminal program (e.g. Putty or ALMEMO Control)
2. Establish a connection to the new serial device
( COM [number see device manager] ).
3. Ping the data logger by the device address (e.g. G00)
and send an
ALMEMO command to the data logger (e.g. t0).
