Thank you very much for purchasing this product. Before you start,
you are recommended to read this manual step by step to obtain the
best results with your new auto camcorder. We hope you enjoy it.

About the Product
GS 372 is specifically designed for video recording whilst driving. In
the case of an emergency, the embedded bump sensor automatically
detects the accident and saves the action on protected memory.
Unlike most dashcams, the rear-view mirror design and invisible LCD
display allow GS 372 to be kept permanently in the car without being
mounted and dismounted for each trip. The extra-large and anti-
glare mirror provides a better rear view to enhance driving safety.
Built-in with 130 ° wide-angle and adjustable lens, GS 372 works
perfectly with both passenger cars and trucks. With Full HD
resolution, GS 372 records full action on the road in the best quality.
Important Notice
1. Please do not install this auto camcorder at a place that would
obstruct or reduce a driver’s view. Make sure your usage
complies with the vehicle codes of your state or country.
2. Do not drop, puncture or disassemble the device and charger;
otherwise the warranty will become void.
3. Avoid all contact with liquids. Dry your hands before using the
device.
4. Use the device with care. Avoid pressing hard on the device
body.
5. Only use the accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
6. Keep the device out of the reach of infants.
7. When you get out of the car, do not leave the device on the
dashboard where it is subject to direct sunlight or extreme

temperatures (too high or too low) which tend to degrade or
damage the unit and it’s normal functionality.
8. For your own safety, do not operate the controls of the product
while driving. This product is intended to be used as an auto
camcorder aid only.
9. The cigarette lighter of your car may or may not continue to
supply power after the engine is turned off. Please disconnect
the charger from the cigarette lighter before leaving the car to
prevent the car’s battery from going flat or other accidents.
10. The battery of the car camcorder is integrated in the device. Do
not dissemble and modify the device. The battery should be
replaced by an authorized service center only.

Use a Memory Card
1. Use a MicroSD card with at least Class 6 and 8 GB, Max. 32 GB.
2. Insert and remove the memory card when the camcorder is
turned off. Do not remove the memory card while recording.
This may damage the memory card.
3. Be sure to format the MicroSD card before the initial usage to
ensure read / write stability.
4. We strongly recommend that the memory card is strictly used
for this car camcorder only.
Connect the Power
1. Connect one end of the car charger to the mini USB connector
on the car camcorder.
2. Plug the other end of the car charger into the cigarette lighter
socket of your car. When power is available on the cigarette
lighter (usually when the engine is started), the camcorder
automatically turns on.
3. You can manually turn on the car camcorder by pressing the
power button for 1 second or turn it off by pressing the
button for 6 seconds.

Install the Car Camcorder
1. Follow the instructions to pull the two clamps on the top of GS
372 and mount it onto the rear-view mirror of your car.
2. Adjust the mirror to have a clear rear view.
3. Adjust the lens on the front side to focus on the center of the
street without obstruction.

Set Language
1. Press ˌto enter Menu ( ).
2. Use ˌto scroll down the menu and find ‚Language‘. Press OK to
enter the language setting and confirm the preferred language
by pressing OK.
3. To exit Menu, press (Emergency Record) to return to preview.
Set Date & Time
Please set the date and time before using the auto camcorder for the
first time or after two weeks without use.
1. Press ˌto enter Menu ().
2. Use ˌto scroll down the menu, find ‘Date/Time’ and confirm
with OK. Press Ÿor źto enter current date and time; press OK
to confirm the setting.
Record Video
You can select the preferred video recording mode from the menu
option ‘Record Mode’:
1. Automatic Record
You can enable ‘Automatic Record’ function in the menu to
automatically start video recording once the camcorder connects to
the power supply (or when the vehicle engine gets started).
Recording will automatically stop when the engine is switched off or
the charger is unplugged. To manually stop recording, press OK (භ)
button shortly.

Loop Recording:
The videos are recorded as 3 minutes per clip and saved on MicroSD
card. When the MicroSD card is full, the oldest recordings on the
card will be overwritten by new recordings.
2. Manual Record
When the ‘Manual Record’ function is enabled, you can start or stop
recording by pressing OK (භ) button shortly.
3. Motion Detection
1) When Motion Detection is enabled, the camcorder automatically
stops recording when there’s no detected movement for 60
seconds. If motion is detected in the scene, the camcorder
automatically starts recording.
2) After Motion Detection is enabled, the LCD screen will be
automatically turned off after 10 seconds. The LCD screen
remains off when the camcorder detects motion and starts
recording.
3) To turn on the LCD screen, press any button.
The screen will display the information about how many times
the camcorder has detected movement. Press OK to return to
the preview.

4. Emergency Record :
Bump Auto Record
When ‘Bump Auto Record’ (recommended) function is enabled,
the car camcorder automatically saves current video clip
(3 mins) in the folder ‘Emergency’ when an impact on the
vehicle is detected. The videos are locked from deletion.
Manual Emergency Record
During a recording session, you can manually press the
emergency record button to start emergency recording.
NOTICE!
1. Manual emergency record is not available when the
camcorder is inactive. Press OK (භ) to start recording
instead.
2. During Bump Auto Record and Manual Emergency
Record, a yellow symbol will be displayed on the
screen. Please wait until the symbol disappears on the
screen to finish the emergency recording.
3. During emergency recording, press Ÿ, ź, or OK button
will stop the emergency recording.
4. Emergency recording saved under Emergency folder
takes up to 30% of the memory capacity. When
emergency recording reaches 30% maximum capacity, to
avoid missing the latest emergency recording, the oldest
emergency recording files will be replaced by new
recording.
5. To avoid the oldest emergency recording to be
overwritten, please make copy of the emergency
recording files right after the event happened.

Take Snapshot
During general video recording, you can press źfor 3 seconds to
take a snapshot.
Change Settings in MENU
1. Press źto enter Menu ().
2. Use Ÿor źto select a menu option and press OK to enter the
selected menu and confirm preferred setting.
3. Press (Emergency Record) to exit the Menu.

2. Bump Auto Record
Set the G-sensor sensitivity level or disable the automatic emergency
record in case of collision. It is highly recommended to turn on this
function. Options: Low / Mid / High Sensitivity /Off

3. Video Resolution
Set the video resolution from below options:
Full HD 1080p / 30 fps
HD 720p / 60 fps
HD 720p / 30 fps
WVGA / 30 fps
VGA / 30 fps
4. Driving Safety
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
Enable or disable the recognition of speed limit
sign. When a speed limit sign is recognized, the
speed limit will be displayed on the LCD screen
and an audio alert is signaled.
Options: On / Off
NOTICE!
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) uses image recognition technology
to identify speed limit sign catching by the image sensor. This
function only works in daytime while the sign is in clear visibility
for the camcorder. It’s normal that some speed limit may not be
recognized. Vehicle speed, rain, good weather but strong
backlight condition, dirt, or faded color of the sign would affect
the accuracy of recognition.
Stop & Go
Set alert to remind the driver to continue driving when the
camcorder detects the movement of the front car., e.g.,
before the traffic light or in the traffic jam. It plays two
bright tunes. Options: On /Off

Driver Fatigue Alarm
Set alarm to be reminded to take a break. The car camcorder plays a
short tune and displays the sign on the screen.
Options: 30 min. /1 hr. / 2 hr. / 4 hr. /Off
Light Reminder
Set reminder to turn on the headlight when the camcorder detects
the lack of daylight. The car camcorder plays two short tunes and
displays the sign on the screen. Options: On / Off
WARNING!
The driving safety functions with alarm or warning signals,
including any visual or audible reminding signals, should not
replace your decision-making and judgment required for proper
and safe operation of the vehicle.
5. Microphone
Enable to disable (mute) the audio during video recording.
6. Beep
Enable or disable toggle beep sound when you press a button.
7. Date Stamp
Set the information for displaying on video clips.
Options: On / Off
8. EV (Exposure Value)
Manually adjust the exposure to gain better effect when the preview
image appears too bright or too dark.

9. Screen Saver
Set or disable screen timeout to turn off the display.
10. Video Frequency
Set flicker frequency to 50Hz or 60Hz based on local power supply.
Default is 50Hz for European countries.
11. TV Mode
Set the TV type when connecting the auto camcorder to a TV.
PAL: suitable for European and Middle East countries
NTSC: suitable for American and Asian countries
12. Format Memory Card
Format (Delete) all the files on the MicroSD card.
It is recommended to format the memory card after making a backup
copy or at least 3 to 4 times per year.
WARNING!
Data including emergency recording is irrecoverable after
formatting. Please make a backup copy of the videos and photos
before formatting the card.
13. Default
Reset all the settings to factory default.
14. Version
Display the current firmware version used on the camcorder.

Playback / Delete / Protect Video
To playback video or photo files, first press Ÿ( ) to enter playlist.
Press OK to select Emergency, Videos, or Photos. Use Ÿor źto
browse thumbnails and press OK to select the file.
1. Press OK again to start the playback.
2. Follow the instructions on screen, you can delete ( ), lock ( ), or
unlock current file. A locked file is protected from deleting.
3. To return to playlist, press Emergency Record button.
4. To return to preview, press again Emergency Record button.
Connect to PC
You can connect the camcorder with a PC to playback files or copy
files onto PC.
1. Connect the camcorder with PC by using the USB cable.
2. The camcorder will automatically turn on and switch to
‘Removable drive’ mode.
3. Open the removable drive under Computer: and copy the files
onto your computer.

PHOTOS: Photos
4. You can use an Apple QuickTime Player to playback the video
clips from Mac or PC.
Reset the Car Camcorder
In the case that the camcorder does not react or can’t be turned off,
press the ‘Reset’ button on the rear side to restart the camcorder.

Der GS 372 ist speziell für die Videoaufnahme beim Fahren konzipiert. In
einem Notfall erkennt der integrierte Aufprallsensor automatisch einen
Unfall und speichert die Aktion in einem geschützten Speicher ab. Anders
als die meisten Dashcams im Markt erlaubt es das Rückspiegel-Design
und das versteckte LCD Display der GS 372, das Gerät permanent im Auto
zu lassen, ohne dass dies nach jeder Reise demontiert werden muss. Der
extra große und entspiegelte Rückspiegel erlaubt eine sehr gute Sicht und
verbessert dadurch die Sicherheit beim Fahren. Durch die 130 °
Weitwinkellinse eignet sich der GS 372 ebenso für LKW’s wie auch für
Autos. Dabei erfasst Aipteks GS 372 die gesamte Aktion auf der Straße in
bester Full HD Qualität.
Wichtige Hinweise
1. Bitte installieren Sie diesen Auto-Camcorder nicht an einer Stelle, an
der die Sicht des Fahrers eingeschränkt oder behindert würde.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Nutzung mit den Vorschriften Ihres
Staates oder Landes konform ist.
2. Lassen Sie das Gerät und Ladegerät nicht fallen und durchstechen
oder demontieren Sie diese nicht; anderenfalls erlischt die Garantie.
3. Vermeiden Sie jeglichen Kontakt zu Flüssigkeiten. Trocknen Sie Ihre
Hände ab, bevor Sie das Gerät verwenden.

Verwendung einer Speicherkarte
1. Um die Speicherkarte einzusetzen oder zu entfernen, muss der
Camcorder ausgeschaltet sein. Entfernen Sie die Speicherkarte
nicht während der Aufnahme. Dadurch kann die Speicherkarte
beschädigt werden.
2. Verwenden Sie eine MicroSD-Karte mit mindestens Klasse 6 und
8 GB, max. 32 GB.
3. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie die MicroSD-Karte vor der ersten
Nutzung formatieren, um Stabilität bei den Lese- und
Schreibvorgängen zu gewährleisten.
4. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, die Speicherkarte ausschließlich für diesen
Kfz-Camcorder zu verwenden.
Anschluss der Stromversorgung
1. Verbinden Sie ein Ende des Kfz-Ladegeräts mit dem Mini USB-
Anschluss des Camcorders.
2. Stecken Sie das andere Ende des Kfz-Ladegeräts in den
Zigarettenanzünder Ihres Fahrzeugs. Sobald Strom auf dem
Zigarettenanzünder-Anschluss liegt (i.d.R. wenn der Motor
angelassen wird) schaltet sich der Camcorder automatisch ein.
3. Sie können den Camcorder auch durch Drücken der Power Taste
für eine Sekunde manuell einschalten und durch drücken derselben
Taste für min. 5 Sekunden wieder ausschalten.
