■High or low extreme temperatures that a battery can be subjected to during use, storage
or transportation:
– during use: -10°C to 40°C / 14°F to 104°F
– storage: -10°C to 40°C / 14°F to 104°F
– transportation: -10°C to 40°C / 14°F to 104°F
■Do not charge the battery longer than specied as this can reduce the battery’s lifespan.
Charge the battery fully when using the unit for the rst time.
■Charge the battery at least once a month, even if you are not using it, to protect the
battery and ensure its longevity.
■In the event of a leak, immediately contact the wholesaler, retail outlet or service centre
for assistance. If the battery acid has leaked, avoid any contact with the skin, eyes, and
mucous membranes. Should you accidentally come into contact with the battery acid,
rinse the affected area and contact a doctor.
■To prevent the battery from overheating:
– When the room temperature ambient temperature reaches 65°C, the protection
will be activated. All device functions will turn off (light, fan, charging circuit).
– When the ambient temperature drops to about 60°C, the functions will not be restored
immediately. The user needs to perform operations to restore the device’s function.
– When the function is available, all battery indicator lights will turn on until the user
resets the device.
– To initiate the reset the user will have to slide the switch to “O” level. If it is already
on “O” level, then it needs to slide to another level and return to “O” so that the PCB
can receive the signal.

HOW TO USE
■Unpack and remove all packaging materials from the AirHood and accessories.
■Check for damage. If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the AirHood
and return it to your retail outlet immediately.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Your AirHood sucks in contaminated air and lters it. The front lter extracts heavier impurities
in the air such as fat, dust and water vapour, and the rear lter removes smoke, dirt and further
toxic contaminants. The puried air is then passed through the air diffuser on the back.
1. Connect to the power source.
Make sure the battery is charged or the charging cord is plugged in.
2. To attach the Base Boost (if purchased) to the AirHood, align the 4 nodules on the
Base Boost with the grooves on the bottom of the AirHood, and then twist the base
anticlockwise until it locks into place.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
1. Make sure the power switch is set to the off position O.
2. Connect the charging plug to the charging socket on the AirHood and plug the other
end into the mains socket.
– The indicator lights turn on sequentially to show the battery is charging and become
steady to indicate the level of battery charged. All 5 indicator lights are steady when
the battery is fully charged.
– Charge the battery fully the rst time. This takes up to 3 hours and provides up to 3
hours of runtime depending on the power level used.
– After the rst full charge of the battery, you can use the AirHood while the battery
is charging.
3. When the battery is full charged, unplug the charging cord from the AirHood and the
mains power socket.
3. Slide the power switch to the desired setting:
SETTING MEANING
ILow Quiet operation
II Medium Optimal effectiveness, noise-compromise
III High Maximum power
OOff
4. When you are not using the AirHood, make sure the power switch is in the off position O
and make sure it is disconnected from the power supply.
5. Stow your AirHood on a countertop or hang it up and create more space.

CLEANING AND CARE
The AirHood is designed to make cleaning quick and easy. To keep your AirHood in tip top
condition, we recommend that you clean the main unit and the front lter after each use and
change the rear lter after every 100 hours of use.
1. Make sure the power switch is in the off position Oand that the AirHood is disconnected
from the power supply.
2. The air duct is xed into place with magnets. Simply pull the tab on the top of the air
duct to release and remove it. Similarly, pull the tab on the air diffuser on the back of the
AirHood and remove it.
3. The front lter is attached to the back of the air duct. It comprises 2 parts, the stainless
steel mesh and the frame that holds the mesh in place. Turn the front lter frame
anticlockwise to remove it from the air duct. Then, pop out the wire mesh.
TIP: When reassembling the front lter, make sure you put the mesh into the front lter
frame, align the frame with the groves on the air duct and then twist the front lter frame
clockwise until the two parts slot rmly together.
If the rear lter becomes a bit wet (this may happen when it is used for ltering
water vapor), remove the rear lter and let it dry naturally away from the AirHood.
We recommend that you also check the front lter for moisture and if necessary dry
it with a towel. Only reassemble when both lters are completely dry.
Note
■Do not use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp
objects or scouring pads to clean the AirHood.
■Never immerse the AirHood main body, charger/power cord in water.

4. If it is time to change the rear lter, lift out the old one and replace after cleaning the main body.
TIP: When you handle the rear lter, you may see some carbon / charcoal residues
(little black specks), this is normal and does not mean that the rear lter is degrading.
When inserting a new lter. Make sure the lter is tucked behind the two clips that hold
it in place.
5. Clean the main body with a damp soft cloth.
6. Clean the air duct, front lter and air diffuser using a mild detergent and soft cloth.
Only the front lter is dishwasher safe. Do not put any other parts in a dishwasher.
7. Dry all parts thoroughly and reassemble the AirHood.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
■If you are not using the AirHood for a long period, always clean and store it in its original
packaging in a dust-free, dry environment.
