FIREAND EXPLOSIONHAZARD
Flammablefumes, suchassolvent and paint fumes,inwork area can igniteorexplode.Tohelpprevent
fireand explosion:
●Do not sprayflammableorcombustiblematerialsnearan open flameorsourcesofignition suchas
cigarettes,motors, and electrical equipment.
●Paintorsolvent flowing through the equipment isable toresultinstaticelectricity.Staticelectricity
createsariskoffireorexplosion inthe presenceofpaint orsolventfumes.Allpartsofthespray
system,including the pump, hoseassembly, spraygun,and objectsinand around the sprayarea shall
be properlygrounded toprotect against staticdischarge and sparks. UseDINO-POWERconductiveor
grounded high-pressureairless paint sprayerhoses.
●Verifythatallcontainersand collection systemsaregrounded topreventstaticdischarge.
●Connect toagrounded outlet and usegrounded extensionscords. Do not usea3-to-2adapter.
●Do not useapaint orasolvent containing halogenated hydrocarbons.
●Keep sprayarea well-ventilated. Keep agood supplyoffreshairmoving through the area. Keep pump
assemblyinawell ventilated area. Do notspraypumpassembly.
●Do not smokeinthe sprayarea.
●?Do not operatelight switches, engines, orsimilarspark producing productsinthe sprayarea.
●Keep area clean and free of paint orsolvent containers, rags, and otherflammablematerials.
●Knowthe contentsofthe paintsand solventsbeing sprayed. Read allMaterialSafetyDataSheets
(MSDS) and containerlabelsprovided withthe paintsand solvents. Followthe paint and solvents
manufacturersafetyinstructions.
●Fireextinguisherequipment shallbe present and working
Sprayergeneratessparks.When flammableliquidisused inornearthe sprayerorforflushing or
●cleaning,keep sprayeratleast 20 feet(6m)awayfromexplosivevapors.
ELECTRICSHOCK HAZARD
Thisequipment must be grounded. Impropergrounding, setup, orusage of the systemcan causeelectric
shock.
●Turnoff and disconnect powercordbeforeservicing equipment.
●Useonlygrounded electrical outlets.
●Useonly3-wireextension cords.
