PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
You must wearappropriateprotectiveequipmentwhen operating, servicing,orwhen inthe operating area
of the equipment tohelpprotectyou fromseriousinjury,including eyeinjury, hearing loss, inhalation of
toxicfumes, and burns. Thisequipmentincludesbut isnot limitedto:

MACHINEMAINTENANCE
●Cleaning the machine,partsevery timeafterfinished the paint work.
●The hydraulicoilshouldbe changed after200 hoursworks.
●The diaphragmshouldbe changed aftereach400 hoursworks.
●The screwsconnecting the front pumpand therearpumpshouldbe tightened diagonally.
●Pleasecheck every partshavescrewon the machinevery tightlybeforeusing machine.Especiallythe
suction tube and high pressurehose.
●Pleasenoticethattheinletvalve,outletvalve,diaphragm,areeasilybroken parts,ifthemachinehas
worked manytimes,andthemachinehavesomeproblemaboutthepressure,suction,pleasechange
themfirst,then check again.

Setup
1.Preparethe paintaccording to the

SPRAYING
SPRAYINGTECHNIQUE
1. The keytoagoodpaintjob isaneven coatingoverthe entiresurface.Withspraypainting,thisis
done byusing even strokes,withyourarmmovingataconstantspeed andkeeping thesprayguna
constant distancefromthesurface.
2. Asmuchaspossible,keep the spraygunatrightanglestothe surface.Thismeansmoving your
entirearmback and forthratherthan justflexingyourwrist.

7. Whentakingashortbreakfrompainting(upto1hr.), lockthesprayguntriggerOFF,reducepressure
toitsminimum(zero)setting and setthe unitto A: Primeposition .Turnsprayeroff and unplug.
RefertoPressureRelief Procedure.
8. Forinteriorcorners,suchason abookcaseorinside acabinet,
aimthe gun towardthe centerof the cornertospray. Bydividing the
spraypatternthisway, the edgeson bothsidesaresprayed evenly.
CleaningTheSprayGun Filter
The spraygunincludesafiltertocatchparticlesbeforetheyreachthe spraytip.If thisfilterbecomes
clogged orobstructeditwillreducethe flowofpaint, changing thespraypatternandpossibly
damaging the filter.
Thisfiltermustbecleanedatleastdailyandperhapseveneveryfourhourswithcertaintypes
oflatex materials.
If thefilterisnotcleanedatthe propertime,itwillplugfromthe top down.Whenthereisabout1inchof
filterthatisn'tplugged,the heavy flowofpaintwillblowpinholesinthefilter.Thisinturnwill allow
unwanted particlestogetintothespraytip,causingspraytiptoclog quickly.
To cleanthefilterduringthepaintingprocess:
1. TurnsprayPRESSURECONTROLVALVE tominimumsettingand turnPrimeSprayValvetoA.
PRIME position.Thiswillbleed off the pressureinthe painthoseand filter.Triggergun tobe sure
pressureisgone.RefertoPressureRelief Procedure.
2. Removespraygun fromhoseusing twoadjustablewrenches.
3. Unscrewfilterhousing, using adjustablewrenchon the nutat the bottomof the housing.
4. Removefilterbeingsurenot tolosethespring and sealingwasherwhichislocated inthe bottomof
the filterhousing..
5. Clean filterthoroughly(orputinanewfilter).Toclean the filter,swishitinwaterorthe type of
solventappropriatetothe paintyou areusing.Ifthisisn tsufficient,useanaturalornylon bristle
brushdipped intheappropriatesolventorwater.Donotuseawirebrushoranysharpinstrument.
6. Insertthetopofthefilterintothegunbodyfittingunderthetipof thespraygun. See Figurebelow.

CLEANUP
Aswithallsprayequipment, yoursprayermust be cleanedproperlyorit willnot operateproperly.
Clogged valvesand filtersarethe most common causesof problems. If followed, theseguidelineswill
insuretroublefree performancefromyoursprayer.
1. Lock the gunand reducethe pressure.Turn
the sprayertoprimeAandshutitoff.Unplug
sprayer. Leavethe suction setinthe paint. Refer
topressurerelief procedure
2. Removesuction tubefrompaintand holdit
aboveabucketofwaterorsolvent. Leavethe
returntube aimed intothe paint bucket.

eraserend ofapencilorascrewdriver.Itshould
moveabout1/16 inch.If itdoesn'tmove,itis
probablyfullofdrypaintorotherdebrisand
shouldbe cleaned orreplaced.
4. Thoroughlycleanthe valveassemblywith
solvent and brush
5. Aproperlyseated valvefilled withwaterand
heldverticallywillnotdripoutthe bottomofthe
valve.If you haveproperlycleaned the valve
and waterdripsoutthe bottom,the valveisworn
and needstobereplaced
6. Installcleaned ornewvalveinthe pumpblock
and thenfillthe valvewithlight oilorsolvent.

●Replacethe46#hydraulicoil inside therearpumpbodyafter300hoursofworkto
reduceequipment wear.
●The diaphragmshouldbe changed aftereach400 hoursworks.
●The screwsconnecting the front pumpand therearpumpshouldbe tightened diagonally.
●Pleasecheck everypartshavescrewon the machineverytightlybeforeusing machine.Especiallythe suction tube
and high pressurehose.
●Pleasenoticethatthe inletvalve,outletvalve,diaphragm,areeasilybroken parts,ifthe machine hasworkedmany
times, and the machine havesomeproblemaboutthe pressure, suction, pleasecheck themfirst, then check again
●Clean the motorcooling fan protection guardand the finned motorcasing periodicallytoensurethe maximum
cooling.
