Chaque unité Airocide® devrait être utilisée tel que recommandé dans ce manuel.
Le non respect de ces recommandations peut entraîner des blessures sérieuses.
• Tenir l’unité hors de la portée des enfants et les surveiller lorsqu’ils s’en approchent.
• N’insérer aucun objet dans les ouvertures de l’unité
• Ne pas démonter l’unité, sauf pour enlever le fascia en vue de remplacer les caissons de réaction.
• L’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) ayant des capacités
physiques, mentales ou sensorielles réduites, ou par des personnes dénuées d’expérience ou de
connaissance, à moins qu’elles n’aient été informées de la manière d’utiliser l’appareil.
• Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son agent
gestionnaire ou par de personnes possédant les memês qualificationes afin d’évitar tout danger.
Chaque unité Airocide, comme tous les appareils électriques, comporte un risque
d’incendie, de décharge électrique, de blessure grave et de décès si elle est utilisée
incorrectement. Toujours respector ces précautions:
• Raccorder l’unité directement à la prise de courant AC mise à la terre appropriée. NE PAS utiliser de
cordon prolongateur ou de bouchon-raccord.
• Cette unité est dotée d’une fiche de mise à la terre. N’utiliser qu’avec une prise électrique
compatible installée et mise à la terre conformément aux codes et règlements relatifs à l’électricité.
NE PAS altérar la fiche ou forcer son insertion dans toute prise.
• NE PAS utiliser une unité dont le cordon électrique ou la fiche sont endommagés.
• Tenir le cordon électrique éloigné des aires de circulation intense. Pour éviter les risques d’incendie,
NE PAS placer le cordon électrique sous les tapis, les meubles ou les appareils, près des bouches de
chauffage, des radiateurs, des cuisinières ou des éléments chauffants.
• NE PAS placer le cordon électrique sous la moquette. NE PAS couvrir le cordon électrique d’une
carpette, d’un tapis chemin ou d’un article semblable. NE PAS installer le cordon électrique sous
des meubles ou appareils. Tenir le cordon électrique éloigné des aires de circulation qui pourraient
présenter un risque de trébuchement.
• NE PAS immerger l’unité dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide et ne pas verser d’eau ou d’autre
liquide sur l’unité.
• NE PAS utiliser l’unité avec un dispositif de contrôle de vitesse à semi-conducteurs, tel qu’un
interrupteur à gradation de lumière, qui contrôle la puissance de l’unité.
• NE PAS faire fonctionner l’unité en présence de gaz ou de vapeurs combustibles.

The Airocide® unit should be used only as recommended in this manual.
Failure to follow recommendations can result in serious injury.
• Keep children away from the unit and supervise them when they are near it.
• Do not drop or insert objects into any openings in the unit.
• Do not disassemble the unit, except for removal of the fascia to replace the Reaction Chambers.
• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
The Airocide unit, like all electrical appliances, presents the risk of fire,
electric shock, and the potential for serious injury or death if improperly
used. Always follow these precautions:
• Plug the unit directly into an appropriate grounded AC electrical outlet. DO NOT use extension cords or
adapter plugs.
• This unit has a grounded plug. Use only in a compatible outlet that is installed and grounded in
accordance with electrical codes and ordinances. DO NOT alter the plug or force it into any outlet.
• DO NOT use the unit if the cord or plug are damaged.
• Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, DO NOT put the cord under rugs,furniture
or appliances, near heat registers, radiators, stoves or heaters.
• DO NOT run the cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. DO NOT route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic areas
where it might present a tripping hazard.
• DO NOT immerse the unit in water or other liquids or pour water or liquids on the unit.
• DO NOT use the unit with any solid-state speed control devices, such as a dimmer switch, that controls
power to the unit.
• DO NOT operate the unit where combustible gases or vapors are present.

The Airocide® Technology
The Original Airocide APS-200 Air Purifier draws air through a densely packed catalyst
matrix that is activated by germicidal lamps. The resulting reaction eliminates VOC’s,
bacteria, and mold. Originally developed by NASA, the efficacy of this reaction has
been proven over the last fifteen years in numerous studies subscribing to the scientific
method.
The Airocide APS-200 PM 2.5 is our latest innovation, and the most advanced Airocide
technology available. We have added three stages to our catalytic process to address the
entire spectrum of gasses and particulates that form PM 2.5. These include a woven glass
coated with our proprietary catalyst (which provides a higher MERV rating, and helps us
expand surface area where reactions can occur), a hospital grade MERV rated media, and
a state of the art carbon/permanganate media. All of these stages combine to be the first
total solution to the problem of PM 2.5 in your home. All that exits is crisp, clear air.
