You just gave yourself and your family an invaluable gift. Clear air. When the air is clear, you are suddenly
elevated. Your home becomes a sanctuary where you have the freedom to enjoy more, do more, play
more and even be more.
We want to thank you for making the incredible decision to join the clear air revolution. More
importantly, every day when you wake up feeling better than you ever thought possible, you’ll thank
yourself for making the clear choice.
In this booklet you will nd easy-to-use operating instructions, our technology overview, frequently asked
questions and warranty information. Talk about a dierent kind of air purier! Well, it’s a dierent kind of
technology from a dierent kind of company. Welcome to a whole new you.
The Airocide®Technology
Airocide draws in harmful airborne pathogens and forces them into a densely packed matrix of highly
reactive catalysts that are activated by a high intensity 254-nanometer light. The reaction destroys these
harmful pathogens on contact. Nothing is captured so there is nothing to clean. All that exits is crisp,
clear air.

How it Works
Helpful Hints Before Using the Airocide® Air Purifier
1. Identify where you will place the unit. We recommend placing Airocide in your bedroom on
a sturdy object: shelf, nightstand, dresser, desk or use our wall mount or oor stand accessory.
Airocide should be placed anywhere from one to eight feet o of the oor.
2. Place Airocide so it is exposed to air circulation. This means the top, front and two of the side
panels needs to be exposed for proper airow. Do not place Airocide in an enclosed space like a
bookshelf, butted up against a bookshelf or directly next to any piece of furniture.
3. Airocide should run 24 hours a day, seven days a week for optimal benets. Turning your unit o
when you are not home will not provide the maximum results.
Simple Set Up Instructions
1. Remove your Airocide unit from the box and protective packaging from around the unit.
2. (Optional) If you have a decorative sleeve for your Airocide, simply slide it on or o gently from
the back of the unit.
3. Unwrap the grill plate from the protective sleeve and gently place it on the front of the unit. The
grill simply attaches with magnetic latches. Note: When moving your Airocide, you may notice
a rattling sound within the unit, do not worry. This is nothing to be concerned about, it is simply
the inner pieces of the unit shifting. This is normal.
4. Place the unit on your identied location within your home. The unit can be placed horizontally or
vertically depending on your location and preference.

7
5. Plug it in. Your Airocide® uses 0.3 amp at 240 volts (approximately the same as a 60 watt light bulb).
Note: For the rst few days, you may notice a slight smell from your unit. This smell will naturally
dissipate within a few days use.
6. Locate the on/o button on the backside of the unit and press it until you notice the touch controls
illuminate to indicate power to the unit. Your Airocide is up and running on the high setting.

Settings
To adjust mode, simply touch the appropriate icon on your Airocide®
High - When you turn your Airocide on, it will automatically default to the high setting. This
setting allows for optimal results.
Automatic – Programs the unit to run on high at most times and then transitions to low for a
slower, quieter speed. While most people nd the fan sound helps them sleep better at night,
the Automatic setting oers the option of a quieter setting at night. A light sensor is built within
the unit, so as the room darkens the unit adjusts to low and when enough light is present in the
room it adjusts to high.
Low – The low setting turns the unit to a slow speed. While this setting is not recommended
for optimal results, you may choose to change to a low setting for sleeping if you like a quiet
sleeping environment. In which case, you might consider the automatic setting, which will do that
for you automatically.

Operating Modes
Normal Operating Mode
When the power switch is in the “on” position, the front grill is installed and no error condition
is detected, one of the icon lights will indicate the “active” mode (low, high or automatic icons as
referenced on page 8). The “active” mode indicator light will be bright when the “active” mode is rst
selected, then will dim after 10 seconds and remain on until another mode button is pressed again.
Grill Removed Mode
If the front grill is removed while the power switch is in the “on” position, the unit will go into
“standby” mode and the “active” mode indicator light will ash brightly.
Error Mode
If the front grill is installed with the power switch in the “on” position and one or both of the
Reaction Chambers is missing, non-functional or not seated properly, the unit will enter “standby”
mode, causing all of the indicator lights to ash brightly. This condition can be automatically cleared
by correctly installing two functional Reaction Chambers.
Change Reaction Chamber Mode
When the Reaction Chambers need to be changed (once a year), the “active “ mode indicator light
will ash dimly. Your Airocide will not be eective in terms of removing pathogens in any manner at
this point and new Reaction Chambers need to be installed. See Maintenance and Cleaning section
for details.
No Lights
Indicator lights function only when the unit is plugged in and the power button is in the “on” position.

10
Maintenance and Cleaning
1. When the indicator light starts blinking (should be in about a year), you’ll need to change the two
Reaction Chambers inside your unit. To order new Reaction Chambers, go to www.airocide.com.
Your replacement kit will contain all of the information needed to simply change out the Reaction
Chambers and we will even supply you with a pre-paid shipping label to return the used Reaction
Chambers for recycling.
2. If you happen to spill something on the outside of your Airocide®, use a damp clean cloth to wipe
down.
3. There is nothing to clean within your unit, simply dust it as you would any other item in your home.

Q: What type of allergens can your air purifier remove from the air?
A: Our patented bioconversion process grabs fungi, mold, viruses, bacteria and more and disassembles

disinfectants, hobby supplies, drycleaned clothing, building materials, paints and paint thinner,
strippers, pesticides and even air fresheners.

12
NASA to Now
NASA had a problem. They needed a technology to help the astronauts on the International Space
Station take the ethylene gas emitted by plants out of the air. So, they created Airocide.
Fast-forward to 1998: Food packers, orists and grocery chains began to use Airocide to extend the shelf
life of owers, fruits and vegetables. (This one-of-a-kind technology helps save a portion of the 27 billion
pounds of produce lost to spoilage each year.)
In 2003 Airocide was introduced to hospitals, clinics, emergency rooms, dental oces and daycare
centers to help stem the spread of infectious disease. Further studies consistently demonstrate dramatic
reductions in mold and bacteria counts.
Today, Airocide comes home to you with air purication technology so scientically advanced it goes
far beyond that of traditional lters or electrostatic plates. This bio-conversion technology eliminates
virtually 100% of the harmful airborne pathogens in your home that can cause illness, including asthma
and allergies. And when you’re breathing cleaner air, you sleep better, feel better and have more energy.
