Please make these simple checks as indicated (●) on the chart for the respective symptoms and their
possible remedies.

SOFTWARE UPGRADE
ATV SOFTWARE UPGRADE
1.Install software.
1.1.Copy folder of MSTAR ISP Tool(V4.xxx) to PC.
Advice to English WINDOWS XP.
1.2.Install MSTAR Driver from folder FTC100103
(MSTAR Driver). commonly,Install automatically
after it connect the Update Adaptor Board to PC.You
operate by cue.It will install total 3 SYS type drive
files.
2.Update
2.1.Turn off the TV
2.2.Conect the Update Adaptor Board to VGA socket
of TV and PC.
2.3.Run software of ISP_Tool V4.xxx.exe.
2.4.Turn on the TV.Wait Connecting communications,
until it display "Device Type....".
2.5.When if it can't diplay frondose type device,
you can turn off the TV,then turn on the TV
again.Or press connect item on top of software menu
for connecting communication again.
2.7.Press to confirm Read item, select updating fils.
2.6.Press to confirm Read item on top of software
menu.

2.8.Press to confirm AUTO item on top of software
menu.
2.9.Change the selected option item as the same as
this picture.
2.10.Press Run item,start updating.

2.11. Finish updating until it display PASS.
Warning: don't turn off the TV in Updating!
Note:This software need restoration after update.
DVD SOFTWARE UPGRADE
1.Del all files in USB.
2.Copy update files into USB,the file name must be MTK.BIN.If it isn't this file name, this
file name must be rename to MTK.BIN.
3.Turn on the TV Combo,select working in DVD input,and take out all disc and take out all
USB and take out all CARD.
4.Insert USB with update file,select reading USB.
5.After it read update file,it have prompt on TV Combo,then you must operate according to
prompt.If it is automatically Updatting,please can't do any operation,If it have cue that you
press play key to continue update,please press play button on R/H to update.
6.You can't do any operation while updatting,until TV-Combo restart DVD working screen,
Update is finished,then you take out USB.
Warnning:you can't do any operation while updatting,and it can't quit DVD working! If update
is discontinuuty,DVD will not work.
Note:This software need restoration after update.

1.SOFTWARE DATA'S RESTORATION
1.1.Enter system setting item of MUNE.
1.2.Select memory recall item,press
right button for default setting.
2.SOFTWARE DATA'S ADJUSTMENT
2.1.press MENU button,then input 1234
numbers to enter factory menu by RH.
2.2.press to select into factory reset item
by RH,and press right button,get back
all inner data to default data,adjust-
ment's data isn't reserved.Press Menu
button again to exit factory menu.
2.3.press to select other item,the press
right button,it can enter this item
data adjustment state.
