Position balusters 127014, with components 031069 facing outwards, and tighten component 001004 (g. 1).34.
Fix straight handrail 140018 using components 002031 (g. 1).35.
Depending on position and presence of walls around the stairwell, it may be necessary to position one or two 36.
extra balusters 127014 (g. 9).
In this case, a space must be considered that is at the same distance from the other balusters or from the wall. 37.
Drill landing with a 4.5 mm bit and assemble with components 033063, 001004 and 002040 (g. 1) (g. 9).
Assembly of oor-mounted balustrade, if applicable. Determine the position of the posts on the oor, on 38.
average one every 28 cm and at a distanza of 8 cm from the edge. Take care: for circular balustrades, use the
circular handrail to determine the distance of the posts from the edge of the oor aperture – this distance varies
according to the radius of the circular handrail supplied. Drill with a Ø 10 bit and insert the 046015 components,
xing them with chemical resin (not supplied). Assemble components 033063 with components 009002 and
005001. Insert the 127014 balustrade balusters ( H= 910 mm) into the 033063 components, with the 126034
reinforcing baluster about every metre, and lock them with components 001004. Fix the balusters to the wall
using component 033010 and items 008004, 011053 and 033056 (drill with an Ø 8 mm bit). Determine the
length of the handrails and cut off the excess quantity. Assemble the 140018 or 140073 handrails to the
balusters with the 002031 components using items 031076 and 046011 for straight balustrades and items
031073, 031077 and 002026 for circular balustrades. Assemble any 033103, 033105, 033107 connecting
components and the 033103 terminal components (g. 16).
Insert the steel cables into the 034041 parts on the banisters, positioning parts 031098 and 001012 39.
on each end baluster of the banisters and also on one intermediate baluster positioned between the two
ends of the banister side. Fasten the cables at one of the two ends using parts 031098 and 001012, leaving
about 15mm protruding from parts 034041; cover with parts 034042 and 001012. Tighten the cables by hand
and lock parts 031098 and 001012 respectively working from the lower to the higher end of the steel cable.
Once the nal parts 031098 and 001012 have been fastened, cover the ends of the cables with adhesive
tape to prevent them from unravelling whilst being cut. Cut the cables at a distance of 15mm from parts
034041. Remove the tape and cover with parts 034042 and 001012 (g. 1 -6 - 7).
Final assembly
To further reinforce the staircase at intermediate points, x components 033010 to wall and join to the balusters, 40.
using components 033056. Drill with an 8 mm bit and use components 008004, 011053, 011057, 005035
(g. 12) (g. 13).
Assembly of R020 railing
Unlock component 005008 and fan out the 103008 steps. It's now possible to ascend the staircase.41.
Fit parts 031067 into holes on treads with edge facing upwards (g. 2).42.
Starting from the landing, insert the 127002 connecting balusters between the steps, inserting the 033140 43.
component on each step, with the hole in the screw facing in the direction of the ascent. If necessary, cut the
127002 balusters from the lower end to obtain a handrail height of about 100 cm.
Position balusters with component 033147 with the part with hole upwards (g. 2) (g. 9). Tighten the 001013 44.
components of the steps above and below paying attention to the riser (g. 2).
Carefully check that all balusters positioned are vertical. This is essential for successful nal assembly of the45.
staircase.
Denitively tighten component 005008 (g. 9).46.
Fix component 033144 to oor in position of rst baluster, drilling with an 8 mm bit. Use components 011053, 47.
008004, and 001004 (g. 2).
Position the rst baluster 127002; adjust height according to the balusters tted earlier (g. 2). Insert the 48.
046050 reinforcing component into the 1st baluster.
Prepare spiral handrails, components 031073, 002026 and disks 031077; the disks are made in soft 49.
transparent material; take care not to mistake them for parts 031076, made in hard transparent material and to
be used only in the joints of any straight handrails present (g. 2).
Cut the initial handrail by 5 cm and attach the 031061 component, using components 011069 and 004034, 50.
drilling with a Ø 6 bit. Start to assemble the handrails onto the balusters with the 002031 components, starting
from the bottom. Continue mounting the handrails, inserting the 031073, 031077 joint components and the
002026 xing screws. Make sure the balusters are vertical and rotate the sections of handrail until they are
perfectly aligned (g. 2).
When the last baluster on the staircase is reached, cut excess handrail at right angles with a saw for wood51.
(g. 2).
Complete handrail by xing component 031061, using components 011069 and 004034, drill with a 6 mm bit 52.
(g. 2).
Fit parts 033144 to treads, using ttings 002040, in an intermediate position, drilling with a Ø 4,5 bit. Determine 53.
