SAFETY RULES:
1. Read and follow all instructions.
2. Do not place bow inlet or outlet of vacuum cleaner near eyes or
ears while operating.
3. Do not expose the unit to rain.
4. Store idle tools. When not in use, the unit should be stored in a
dry. high or locked-up place-out of reach of children.
5. Do not operate without filter bag in place repair or replace a
damaged bag promptly.
6. Do not pick up burning materials such as lit cigarette butts.
7. Do not run vehicle's engine while cleaning.
8. Maintain tool with care. Keep bowl and fan area clean for best
and safest performance, follow instructions for proper
maintenance.
9. Do not operate portable electric tools in a gaseous or explosive
atmosphere. Motors in these tools normally spark, and the sparks
might ignite fumes.
10. You can clean for periods up to 1/2 hour long without
noticeably affecting the power of a normally charged vehicle
battery in good condition. Running the vehicle engine while
cleaning is not recommended and may shorten tool life.
11. For storage, wind the cord around the tool in the handle (fig. 1).
SWITCH OPERATION
The unit is turned on by pushing the slide button toward the nozzle
end of the vac.
The tool will remain "ON" until the slide button is pulled backward
to turn it "OFF".
VACUUMING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Push vacuum plug into cigarette lighter socket, and push slide
switch forward to start vacuuming. Note: il vac fails to operate,
clean any burned tobacco tar from lighter socket with a small
wooden stick.
2. For the most efficient vacuuming, keep the filter bag clean.
3. When cleaning high-loop, pile rugs, pull nozzle in the direction
shown in (Fig. 2) to avoid snagging the nozzle in the pile.
CREVICE TOOL
The crevice tool for use in hard-to-get-to areas and surfaces is
pushed into the collector bowl as shown in figure (Fig. 3) DIRT
REMOVAL & FILTER BAG CLEANING
1. To remove dirt from the collector bowl, hold unit as shown in
figure (Fig. 4)
2. Depress latch and swing collector bowl away and down from
unit handle.
3. Place fingers into bowl and remove filter bag from collector bowl
(Fig. 5)
