Smart Switches with Optional Fiber Module
The N-way switches are essential for moving workgroups from the conventional 10Mbps shared Ethernet collision
domain to multiple dedicated Ethernet segments.These switches ddeliver dedicated 100Mbps links to each LAN
segement(independent collision domain)or attached Purchase all with conventional cabling and adapters.They
completely overcome the bottleneck of shared 10Mbps Ethernet networks by providing a wide bandwidth.This
makes them ideal for increasing the throughput of interconnected Ethernet hubs or server farms.On top of that,they
use auto-negotiation.The store-and-forward switching mechanism is adopted in this swiith.And,they even provide
flow control via back pressure to minimize packet loss.
