ExoTHERM
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Set up your hot water extraction ( HWE ) machine ready for
use.
Connect the ExoTHERM either directly to your machine with
the hose supplied, or to the end of an extension hose.
Connect a hose to the ExoTHERM solution outlet ready for
use.
Connect the ExoTherm to a power outlet.
( Extension leads are not recommended, but if absolutely
necessary ensure single socket, heavy duty extension lead
is used. )
Turn on the mains power.
Select low or high heat and set required temperature.
Turn on your HWE machine and set your pressure - for use
with the ExoTherm this should be between 100 - 400psi.
Allow the ExoTHERM to warm up for 60 seconds before use.
Start cleaning and the water will come through hot within a
few moments.
Just before finishing cleaning, turn off the ExoTHERM and
continue cleaning to help reduce the unit ' s temperature to
make it more comfortable to pack away.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Action required on first use:
Connect the heater as described but before
connecting the power turn on your water pump and
pull the wand / tool trigger until water runs freely
without any air splutter. Thereafter this procedure is
not required unless the unit has sat empty or unused
for a length of time.
Warnings:
Do not allow the unit to freeze, this can damage components
which can be costly to replace / repair.
Optimum water input temperature is 40 ° C, high temperatures
may not allow the thermostat to operate as effectively causing
cooler periods in operation.
If warning LED ' s are lit the unit will not operate, check for too
low or high pressure.
Safety Features:
Low pressure: the unit will not operate without a machine &
water pump connected and turned on.
High pressure: the unit will not operate over 500psi. ( The unit
has been pressure tested to 1200psi however it is designed to
cut out at 500psi for safety reasons. )
Unit will not over - pressurise if left turned on without being
used.
All components in this unit are completely serviceable, we
recommend the unit is returned to Alltec for regular servicing
and electrical testing.
