When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed.
Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property or persons.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages or injury

•Read and familiarise yourself with all operating
instructions before using this PTC Heater.
•Before plugging your unit into the mains, visually check
that the unit is intact and has not suffered any transit
damage.
•WARNING! In order to avoid overheating, do not cover
the heater.
•DO NOT install the appliance directly below an electrical
socket.
•DO NOT use this heater with a programmer, timer,
separate remote-control system or any other device that
switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk
exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
•DO NOT use this heater with an extension cable.
•Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate
corresponds with that of the local network before
connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
•Close supervision is required when using this appliance
near children.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been
placed or installed in its intended normal operating

•DO NOT use this appliance outdoors.
•It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the
appliance has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst
being repaired.

•Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed
by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may place user
at serious risk.
•DO NOT operate this appliance with a damaged plug or
cord, after a malfunction or after being dropped or
damaged in any way.
•Regular, periodic checks should be carried out on the
mains cable to ensure no damage is evident. Should there
be any signs of damage the appliance should not be used.
•If the power cable is damaged, it should only be replaced
by the manufacturer or a suitable qualified after-sales-
service in order to avoid a hazard
•DO NOT allow the mains cable to hang over sharp edges
or come in contact with hot surfaces.
•DO NOT run the mains cable under carpets, rugs, etc.
•Allow the unit to cool before storage.
•Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply and allow to cool.
•Never place the appliance near to flammable material or
high pressure containers. E.g. Paper, wood, petrol,
solvents, spray canisters.
•This appliance is intended for household use only and
should not be used for industrial purposes.
•DO NOT use any accessories or attachments with this
appliance other than those supplied or recommended by
supplier.
•DO NOT use this appliance for anything other than its
intended use.
•DO NOT push objects into any openings as damage to the
appliance and/or electric shock may occur.
•Ensure appliance is situated in an open area, do not allow
it to come in contact with Cupboards, Curtains, wall
coverings, clothing or other flammable materials.
•The appliance should not be installed in areas which have
a fire-risk, such as garages, stables or wooden sheds; this

is applicable also for rooms in which highly inflammable
gasses or dust can develop. Danger of fire!!
•Unplug after each use. Grasp the plug, not the cord.
CAUTION
Keep Hearth Rugs and other soft furnishings
away from the front of the heater. They could
obstruct the free flow of air from the fan and
damage both soft furnishings and heater.
The heater must stand on a solid, level non-
flammable surface such as stone, slate, ceramic
or concrete.
DO NOT Stand the heater on a carpet, rug or
other soft floor covering.
DO NOT COVER THE HEATER
This appliance has been ERP classified as a portable space heater and should
only be used for supplementary, secondary or temporary heating. It should not
be considered for primary permanent heating in a room or dwelling.
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odour
and a little smoke. This is normal and will quickly disappear, it is the coating
applied to the heating elements to prevent any corrosion during transit.

Safety Tip-Over Device
This heater is fitted with a safety tip-over device. The heater will not operate if
knocked over or placed on an uneven surface causing it to not stand upright.
If the safety tip-over device is triggered, unplug the heater from the mains and
check for any damage. If the heater is not damaged, place it on a solid, level,
nonflammable surface and ensure it is upright. Plug back into the mains and press
the Standby Button (4) to restart the heater.

Before first use of Your PTC Fan Heater
Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
Operating Instructions
Ensure the heater is placed on a solid, level non-
flammable surface as described above and the
heater is vertical.
1.Ensure that the Mains Switch (1) on the rear of the
unit is in the OFF ‘O’position.
2.Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
3.Press the Mains Switch (1) on the rear of the unit to
the ON ‘I’position, the unit will beep and the Digital
Display (6) will show the unit is in standby as below:
Powering Up
1. Press the On/Off/Standby Button (4) to
switch on the fan heater.
2. Once powered up the Digital Display (6)
will light to show the default set
temperature (30⁰C), the Power Indicator
(8) and the High Heat Indicator (7) will
also illuminate as shown right:

Setting the Heat Mode Press the Heat Mode Button (12) to select from:
a. High Heat (1500W) –the High Heat Indicator (7)
will illuminate.
b. Low Heat (750W) –the Low Heat Indicator (10)
will illuminate.
c. Eco Mode –the Eco Mode Indicator (9) will
illuminate.
In Eco mode the heater will vary the power
between 750W and 1500W automatically whilst
keeping the ambient temperature at 20⁰C.
Setting the Temperature
1.Press the Increase ᴧ(5) and Decrease ᴠ(13)
buttons until the desired set temperature (in ⁰C),
is shown on the Digital Display (6).
2.Once the room has reached the set temperature,
the internal fan and oscillation mode (if selected)
will stop. The heater will restart when the
temperature has dropped below the set
temperature, this is quite normal.
Powering Off
Press the On/Off/Standby Button (4) to
switch the fan heater off and back into
standby.
After switching off the heater, there will
be a delay of 60 seconds whilst the internal
fan continues running to cool the unit down
before finally switching off.
If the heater is not to be used for a while or it
is to be left unattended, press the Mains
Switch (1) to the off (O) position to fully
switch the unit off as shown right:

Oscillation Mode
Press the Oscillate On/Off button (16) to
enable the heater to rotate left and right and
disperse heat over a larger area. The
Oscillate Indicator (15) (Swing) will
illuminate. Press the button again to stop the
unit oscillating, the Oscillate Indicator (15)
(Swing) will go out.
Using the Timer
The timer is used to switch the heater on or off after a time period of up to 12
hours. Ensure that the Mains Switch (1) on the rear of the heater is in the on ‘I’
position for the Timer to operate.
Setting the Timer to Power OFF the heater
1.Press the Timer Button (11) whilst the heater is on, the Timer Mode Indicator
(14) will illuminate, the Digital Display (6) will show the timer display (in hours)
flashing as below left:
2.Press the Timer Button (11-arrowed above) repeatedly to select the number of
hours (in 1 hour increments) up to a maximum of 12 hours –above right:
3.The Digital Display (6) will flash for 10 seconds after setting the timer and return
to showing the set temperature.
4.After the set time has passed the heater will switch off.
5.As the timer counts down, the time remaining can be checked on the Digital
Display (6) by pressing the Timer Button (11) once.

Setting the Timer to Power ON the heater
Ensure that the heater is off, i.e. the On/Off/Standby Button (4) has been pressed
to switch the fan heater off into standby.
Press the Timer Button (11), the Timer Mode Indicator (14) will illuminate, the
Digital Display (6) will show the timer display (in hours) flashing as below:
6.Press the Timer Button (11-arrowed above) repeatedly to select the number of
hours (in 1 hour increments) up to a maximum of 12 hours.
7.The Digital Display (6) will flash for 10 seconds after setting the timer and return
to showing the set temperature.
8.After the set time has passed the heater will switch on.
9.As the timer counts down, the time remaining can be checked on the Digital
Display (6) by pressing the Timer Button (11) once.
Whilst using the heater in timer mode, due consideration must be given to the
fact that the heater may come on whilst unattended.
Safety Tip-Over Device
This heater is fitted with a safety tip-over device. The heater will not operate if
knocked over or placed on an uneven surface causing it to not stand upright.
If the safety tip-over device is triggered, unplug the heater from the mains and
check for any damage. If the heater is not damaged, place it on a solid, level,
nonflammable surface and ensure it is upright. Plug back into the mains and press
the Standby Button (4) to restart the heater.
Care and Use of your Ceramic PTC Heater
•Always disconnect the heater from the mains power supply and allow to cool
before cleaning.
•Clean outside of the heater with a clean damp cloth. Never clean with harsh or
abrasive cleaners.
•Do not submerge any part of the heater in water or any other liquids.
•DO NOT WRAP THE MAINS CABLE AROUND THE APPLIANCE.

Safety Cut –Out
WARNING:This appliance is fitted with a built in safety cut-out, if the cut-out is
activated the unit stops working, unplug the heater from the mains and check that
the air intake area is not blocked or covered.
Leave for an hour to cool and reset before plugging back into the mains.

Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
