 The control units for the Vasistas are intended exclusively to the control of the weather for the automac
movement of the windows. The use for applicaons which are dierent from the ones indicated must be au-
thorized by the manufacturer, aer the technical test of the applicaon.
 Aer having removed the packaging, check that the device is intact. Plasc bags, styrofoam, small metallic
components as nails, clips, etc. have to be kept out of reach of children, because they might be dangerous.
 Before to connect the device, verify that the electrical supply that you use, has the same features indicated in
the label with the technical infos, applied on the device.
 The installaon of the device has to be made according to the instrucons of the manufacturer. Non-
compliance with these rules can compromise the safety.
 The implementaon of the electrical installaon of voltage supply has to be made according to the current
rules.
 To avoid any danger of injuries or death caused by the voltage supply, before implemenng any operaon of
wiring or regulaon, turn o the voltage from the supply line.
 To assure an eecve separaon from the net we suggest to install a momentary bipolar switch (buon) ap-
proved. At the beginning of the command line a general omnipolar switch of supply with input of the contact
of at least 3,5 mm, must be installed.
 It is necessary to use material of connecon t to guarantee an isolaon according to the actual normave on
the electric safety.
 Don’t clean or wash the device with solvent or jets of water. Do not immerse into water.
 Warning: in case of damage or malfuncon, turn o the device from the general switch and call a qualied
technician.
 Every repair have to be implemented only by qualied sta in an help centre authorized by the manufacturer.
 Before implemenng any operaon of cleaning or maintenance, be sure to disconnect the device from the
net. For further safety we suggest to remove the electrical connecon.
 Request always and exclusively the use of original replacements. The non-compliance with this rule could
compromise the safety and undo the benets of the warranty applied on the device.
 In case of problems or doubts during the intallaon of the funconing, address to your retailer of
trust or directly to the manufacturer.

This product is integral part of the automaon, and therefore you/he/she must be digests together with it.
As for the operaons of installaon, also at the end of the life of this product, the operaons of dismantlement
must be perform from personal qualied.
This product is constuted by various types of materials: some can be recycled, others must be digest. Inform you
on the systems of recycling or disposal ancipated from the in force rules on your territory, for this category of pro-
duct.
Aenon! Some parts of the product can contain pollung or dangerous substances that, if dispersed in
the environment, you/they could provoke harmful eects on the same environment and on the human
health.
As pointed out by the side symbol, it is forbidden to throw this product in the domesc refusals. To per-
form therefore her "separate harvest" for the disposal, according to the ancipated methods from the in
force rules on your territory, or to redeliver the product to the seller in the moment of the purchase of a
new equivalent product.
Aenon! The in force rules to local level can foresee heavy sancons in case of unauthorized disposal of
this product.

4.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This document describes the funconality af a card used for the menagement of a 24 Vdc motor for ope-
ning and closing a window.
There are four versions of the device summarized in table nr. 1.

4.1 REPORTS
The device manages many kinds of led light ashes summarized in picture 1
4.2 ALARM RESET
The device comunicates outdoors it’s status with two led: red and green, the buzzer and the KAL relay.
Alarms and faults can be reset in any of following ways.
1. To MOD-bus sending the right command (table nr. 10).
2. Pushing the buon on the board. In this case the rst me pushing the buon silenced the buzzer
and the second one reset the alarms.
3. By dosing the AP input the buzzer turns o and the alarms reset.
WARNING: if the cause of the alarm or the faut have not been removed it will arise again in a few se-
cond.

5.0 SENSORS VERSION
Aer a short inial test, marked by alternate blinking of the Leds and by two short buzzer rings, the device
is ready awaing for commands for the management of a 24Vdc motor for opening and closing a window.
The motor is controlled at the opening and closing depending on the condion of the AP and CH inputs or
the remote controller keys.
The opening of the motor stops in about 90 seconds; the closing stops when the IFC limit switch indicates
the closed window status or aer about 90 seconds. The KFC relay replicates the IFC input's status.
If the device detects a wind speed greater then the threshold or the rain sensor is acve the device goes in
the alarm state closing the window. When the alarm condion is removed the device exit the alarm state
aer 8 minutes going into normal operaon.
