1.DESCRIPTION
The ModelヽVS‑540‑15 is an Auto lnflationヽ Vst I)igital Blood Pressure Monitor.
The readings in each function are digital displεり
ed on 7 digits LCD panel.
STATUS INDICATION shows Deflation,Inflation,Palpatory Wave and Battely Weak.
ERROR MESSAGE CODE includes Battely Weak,itis impossible to measure the blood pressure
accurately when ERROR MESSAGE CODE appears.
BATERY POWER is monitored when the unitisturned on and a、 varning、、■u be displaり ed
ifit is too、 veak.
AUTOMATIC AIR INFLATION inflates the cur pressure by an intemal alr pump.
AUTOMATIC AIR DUMP VALVE dumps■ le pressure in the cuff automatically when
the rneasurementis over or error has becn occurred.
AUTOMATIC POWER SHUT OFF:
The unit、vill automatically turn offifit is not operated for about 180 seconds or lnore.

l)In Case using battew

cOVer left side ofIInaln body and insert 2 pieces of LR03 type batteries
to flt pol〔 rity indication.
4‐ 2 Measurement Procedures
l)Wrap the cuff around the left、vTist.
Facc up、 vards the palrn ofthe hand,Inake the body position in the center of the palm,

Tap the cuff tightly to the、 、嘲st,leaving no space between the cu∬ cloth.

Tap cuff after you put offit.
The position of the individual、vhen being IIneasured may be cither lying do、 、咀 or sitting.
In the sitting position ho、vever make sure that the location on the left、 vTist to be
measured is about at the same height as the heart and that the foreann is extended
naturally on the table and does not move.
Push the"START‖ s、、
itch to automatically inflate cuff to the optimun■ pressure.
Pressure start to descend. Please do not inove your body as possible as you can later.
Further descending cuff pressure,indication rnark for‖ Hcart mark‖
flashing to notice pulsc、 vave、vhen the pulse、 vave begin to generate.
Further descending cuff pressure and■ t7hen come to rninilnutrn blood
pressure,display for"Hcart mark‖ flashing also disappear.

9.PRESSURE ACCURACY TEST
Connection with Test Device
l.Conncct a 3V DC po、ver supply in off mode.
2.Connect the standard l■ anometer and the inflation cylinder,
diverge to join the connector used for the pressure accuracy then lnake it
test on the unit、

Test method
l.Open the inflation cylinder,then turn on the po、 ver supply
Keep pressing the start s、 v■ tch of the unit till all― indication disappear.
Both upper and under 3 columnS ShOw‖ 0‖ illldicatlon,No、v the unit is in
pressure test rnode.
Close the inflatlon cylinder,then tum the cylinder handle to inflate alr
undl a reading of 50 1■mHg on the standard manometer is obtalned.
At that tlme,the display ofthe unit should sho、 v‖ 5050"instead of
tl■ e"00"inentioned Step 2 above. Both numbers‖ 5050"should not
deviate too much 50± 3 at the lnost.
4.Do the check descbed in Step 3 above at 100,150,200,250,and 300 1rnl■ Hg
as well(±3 mmHg).
